This place is my sanctuary. I've been to many studios all up and down the east coast and this one is at the top of my favorites list. The studio is beautiful and always clean. There are separate locker room and showers; two in the for mens room (not that I go in there, lol, but anyway) and two for the women's room. The studio provides shower gel, shampoo and conditioner for free. There are towels
available to rent for practice and showering. They just installed new flooring. Omg... I just can't say enough. My favorite instructor in Sasha, she's AMAZING!!! She is very concise in her instruction and is very attuned to her students so that when she sees us struggling, she has JUST the right words to get you pushing again. Love it, love it, love it so much! Yoga has literally saved my lifeHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Evie R.Hopatcong, NJ053Mar 14, 2020
BYCK makes me feel balanced and strong.
I have been practicing at this studio for 4 years
it has truly changed my body in so many amazing ways, this practice is tough but the teachers are always there to motivate and support us through class.
The studio space and changing room is clean and roomy- you have plenty of personal space to practice without overlapping with your neighbor.
If your looking for a challenging and rewarding yoga practice I highly recommend making BYCK your new favorite studio.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Jenn F.Philadelphia, PA163Oct 8, 2019
12 years after opening its doors to the yoga community. BYCK is still my go-to spot to practice. It's hard but perfect if you know what I mean...
Instructors have come and gone (such as life, right?), but I've found each and everyone one operates under the same core principles of yoga. Every instructor has their own unique spin to practice, however stylistically, I've always enjoyed a great Bikram 90. I tend to take Susan's class the most, but am not concerned about practicing with a sub or outside my normal schedule, everyone is great. Seriously, great vibes in this place.
The studio is heated to a steamy 105 and you will sweat! They do a fantastic job keeping the studio clean. There are cubbies to store your stuff during class, and they lock the doors when class is in session.
BYCK has an overall fun atmosphere, and has themed classes through out the year. Trust me, a Fusion class is lots of fun.
I WISH THEY HAD MORE LOCATIONS IN NJ / NY !!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Will Y.Cocoa Beach, FL61743106May 29, 2018Updated review
Bikram Yoga is done with a few elements required heat, mirrors, bright lights, a teacher teaching dialogue. This studio has it! The heat is perfect with fresh air exchange and movement keeping you comfortable while enjoying the benefits of warming the body. Also changing rooms, and showers, clean and friendly place. Plenty of easy parking, good location right off 287 and NJ 10. If you're wanting to try this yoga start here, every day you come in is therapy for the body and mind, healing from past injury's. The practice is simple and challenging, same sequence every day is like a gauge for you to notice how your feeling, increase your mind body connection, get strong, while increasing range of motion, feel great, and sleep well! Thank you Susan for your efforts to keep this studio nice clean and available for everyone that needs this yoga to live with love in this world!!!

Bikram studios can be hit or miss in terms of facilities. BYCK was a hit in my book. Despite the basement location it's warm and well lit with lots of space. The change rooms were clean and roomy with two showers - some studios have just one. Instructors were consistently friendly, encouraging, and giving good feedback. There were some that I preferred to others, but no one that made me think "I don't want to take class with THAT teacher."
Prices are on par for other suburban Bikram studios and their rental towels/mats are clean (and convenient in a pinch). Ultimately I did not join (just a month pass for me) as I realized that it did not fit my my goals but if Bikram is for you then this is a great studio.
(ps - why does no Bikram studio have a membership option that includes towels? I'd pay for that!)Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lenore V.Bellingham, WA572612Mar 6, 2016
I practice Bikram on a regular basis where I live and while away I love to try new studios. This is my second time practicing at this studio and will be the last. Before class began the owner came into the room and asked if anyone had a problem with playing the Bikram CD for class. Not knowing what she meant I was unable to have an opinion.
The Bikram CD was Bikram(the founder) going through the dialogue for each posture. There was no instructor leading or giving corrections. Definitely not my preference. I would suggest trying a different studio.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Paul P.Basking Ridge, NJ275162Apr 10, 2018
This is a great Bikram studio! I'm visiting from out of town for a few weeks and dropped in for an unlimited week. The staff has been so welcoming and it's been such a pleasure to practice here. The room and heat are very well maintained. The rest of the facility is always kept clean. I've been very impressed with the instruction during class. I look forward to practicing here in the future.

BORING...its the same routine every time and they don't offer anything other than the same hot yoga class. I would like to see more of a variety at a yoga studio to change things up. Its good to go here every once in a while but I would not like to be a regular here.
In terms of cleanliness, I would say its moderate. Bathrooms are clean, but I am unsure how often they clean the carpet. There is only one yoga room.
As for the value, I think its a little expensive to pay ~$25 for a class, but it seems pretty average. I would personally not get any packages because they are too pricey...and like I said it gets pretty boring. I have also been 'nudged' a few times by the instructors for taking a drink of water when I really needed one.
I do get a little worried sometimes going to the night classes just because it feels like I am walking into a dungeon going down those steps. It took a little while to actually see where the studio was since its in an office building.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Kelly V.Morristown, NJ08Oct 9, 2019
LOVE this Bikram yoga studio. I took a class with Tabitha and she was great! They just got new floors and it makes a huge difference. The best part about this place is they have free parking directly behind the building in a safe area. It's right off the highway too so very easy to find.

The studio is very clean, nice size, never too crowded even on the crowded day. No musty carpet smell. The class is at good temperature, not too hot like most studios, so you can focus on the practice rather than the heat. I have practiced with ~ 30 teachers in my BY life and by far Grace is the best teacher I've ever had. I am not a regular here due to its location but I will stop by about once a month just to practice with Grace. Her teaching style is calm but firm and will encourage you to push yourself a bit further each time. I always have a strong and fulfilling practice with her.
I find student etiquette is quite poor here. Students who are late do not wait for in-between the postures to enter the room. I practice regularly at a different studio where this behavior will not be allowed. The teacher will ask them to wait outside until a posture is finished. Some students also bring their phones inside the class and do social networking while waiting for the class to start. I think a short etiquette note at the door will go a long way.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
