Initial installation was honestly pretty good, BUT when I started having multiple issues, I trusted them, but they were just guessing each time: first dismanteled my controller, then changing same part again and again, while charging hefty $$$$ prices. They try to fix the same problem THREE time, but could not. And YES they charge, or they wanted to charge.
Finally got rid of them.
AVOID AVOID this company when you have tech issues, professionnally

We can understand why you are upset but we have done nothing wrong. Your Trane system was installed in September 2018. We replaced your compressor for the first time on 01/06/23 and you paid $890. We were called back out on 02/15/23 and the compressor was found to be shorted internally on "run". We replaced the compressor under our 90-day labor warranty for FREE. We were called back out on 09/26/23 and found the compressor was shorted out a third time. This was likely caused by electrical issues, a power surge or lightning there is just no way for us to know for sure. That is why we recommended to call an electrician to rule out the electrical issues. We cannot control if you are having power surges or lightning shorting out your compressor. Unfortunately, the manufactures will not just give you a new unit, that is not how their warranties work. Trane’s limited warranty covers the part only; it does not cover the R410A refrigerant, refrigerant driers, miscellaneous materials, or the labor. We also cannot control what they have in stock. We are still dealing with parts and equipment shortages across all brands. We stand behind our work, but since the most recent failure is out of our 90-day labor warranty there would be a charge to replace the compressor a third time. We want to wish you well and thank you for your past business.

We requested service through Yelp and they responded right away. Tech came and the company honored the discount through Yelp. Work was done efficiently and tech was efficient and friendly. We will be using them for any future repairs.

I really hate to leave a 1 star review but this was the worst A/C or any technician interaction I have ever had.
I called this company on a Saturday around 11am because my A/C was running, but it would not go lower than 76 degrees. A technician named Thomas Crosby called me back at around 1pm and said he could come out today but the service call for a Saturday visit is $150. I needed my A/C fixed so I approved as well as re-iterated the issue we were having and what was going on with the A/C unit. He stated he would be here between 4pm and 7pm (it starts to get dark at 6pm this time of year) I asked if he would be able to work in the dark to fix it and he stated yes.
He arrived at 5:45 PM. He got out of his truck, said hello and my husband explained again what was wrong and that the A/C and Thomas immediately asked where the cold air return was. My husband brought him in the house and Thomas took off the cover and said "Its Frozen". I asked what we needed to do and his reply was "Nothing, I cant work on a frozen unit". I asked him why he didnt tell us almost 6 hours ago to shut the A/C off because since that was the VERY first thing he did, he must have had a suspicion. If we had shut the A/C off 6 hours ago, the unit would have been thawed out for him to fix it.
My husband has a heat gun (or something like that) and we offered to melt the ice for him to work on it and he replied "I charge by the hour" I am like really? How long does the $150 last for?
So he left and didn't even put the cover back on the cold air return - then said they could put me back on the schedule for Monday and I had to pay another $95!!
This guy did not even look at anything else so he went straight to the cold air return - which means this guy knew this. Horrible business practice.
I did call on Monday and spoke with manager and they were going to send someone out without charging the fee, but I rather go with a company that hires people with integrity before giving them any more business.Helpful 7Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1Business owner information

I’m very sorry to hear that you were dissatisfied but we feel nothing was done wrong. According to our phone records your call came in at exactly 2:23PM not 11AM. When your call came in the technician was on his way to a service call that came in before you called. He gave you an appointment window between 4PM and 7PM because he did not know how long the appointment prior to yours was going to take. He did arrive at your home at 5:45PM, within the timeframe promised. Unfortunately, he had no way of knowing your system was frozen prior to his arrival. The first thing all technicians must check for would be to see if the system is frozen, because if it is they cannot test pressures or run any further diagnostics. So I am not sure how you find that suspicious. And he left the cover off so the system would thaw out faster. The diagnostic fee of $150 is our afterhours fee, then any repairs would be additional. The fee is to cover the technicians travel time and determine what is wrong. He determined that the system was frozen. Sometimes a diagnosis can be done in a few minutes and sometime is can be hours. So there is no set time. I did offer to waive the fee to return on Monday as an accord of satisfaction but you cancelled the appointment. We are a service oriented company with a reputation for honest, reliable, and quality service. We have been in business for over 29 years. Please also know that the owner of our company is a former police officer and demands 100% honesty from all of our employees.

Initially I left a positive review. Unfortunately, I had to switch companies because there were repeated issues. After they kept charging me repeatedly (on a new unit I purchased from them), I decided to have another company come out. That company discovered that Prestige had removed a part from my unit and had it laying up in the attic, next to the unit. Once he replaced that missing piece, all was fixed. Not only was I being lied to, the issue appears it could have been done purposely. Additionally, the ladies who answer the phone were beginning to take an attitude. Also, the owner doesn't know anything about A/C- one of their techs told me that. I would steer away from them.

I would appreciate it if you could provide me more information so I can look into it. Is it possible for you to send an email to CustomerService@PrestigeAirConditioning.com. Please include your address and a copy of the invoice from the other company so we can see what was done and if something was overlooked. We are human and can make mistakes but I can assure you that none of our guys would purposely leave a part off. Also, the owner of our company is very knowledgeable about air conditioning with over 30 years of experience. He just does not run service calls himself. I called his company today at 11:30. They said they could have somebody at the house between two and four. Somebody showed up at 2:30 to fix the problem that I was going to have them for the last two weeks. The previous company could not fix it and it was something very simple. Needless to say the previous company, Total Appliance, I will never use again after they came out five times to fix my air-conditioning and I never got it right Prestige got it right the first time and they were there earlier than I expected when the other company kept giving me a hard time about showing up.

I've been using Prestige Air Conditioning for 3 years now and they are always on time, they call just as they are leaving the previous job and call upon arrival.
I buy their annual maintenance agreement that is $175 and it includes two services check-ups per year and a discount on any needed service.
I want to give a Kudo's to Schneider who did my service yesterday, he was very thorough, and replaced a small part that was failing. He even showed me the meter readings that showed the part was failing. He replaced the part on site, it was $162. This was the first repair that I have needed in three years. He also explained that I'll probably need the freon charged on the next visit.

I have a rental unit that has an original AC system. Over 15 years the unit is ready to be replaced. I looked at three vendors to come and inspect and get their recommendations. I choose Precision because of their throughness and detail estimate of the service needed.

This one goes out to Sam our air conditioning was broken for four months we lived in a house that would range between 88 to 92° living in Florida you could imagine. We were blessed to have Scott the owner and Sam the handyman fix our air conditioning such angels. Now our house is comfortably sitting in the 70s and we can sleep at night without waking up to step outside for fresh air.
