Penske

I reserved a 16' truck to be picked up at 10:00 am on a Saturday. Got there at 10:00 AM only to be told they no longer have any trucks to rent. I said, "But I made a reservation!". They said, "Sorry, we don't have anything now." Absolutely ridiculous.

Moving is always a mental and physical headache, but thankfully Penske makes the whole ordeal a little bit easier. You can save 10% by booking online, and there are other deals available to save even more. I've both dropped off and picked up at this location for different moves, and the guys working here are friendly. The trucks are pretty new (the fellow said they are no older than three years) and clean. I didn't drive a truck myself but was told that they handle well, for being bulky moving trucks of course. If you've got a do-it-yourself move coming up, try Penske.

Booked a 12 ft truck online, however given the next size up at no cost (staff said mpg were same). He also tossed in a dolly at no extra charge. Did a one way to Chicago. Definitely happier w Penske experience than any Uhaul I've used in the past. Plan to keep using them.
