Jul 17, 2018Previous reviewI bought a Toyota Highlander off of the used car lot there with the agreement they would fix the bumper. I got the car back after a week and the bumper was falling off when I went to pick it up. Now they are telling me that they need their loaner back and are not going to fix my car.

Brought my vehicle here for an inspection... Not my usual dealer, but still connected to the Acura network. They quoted over $6000 worth of maintenance. I pulled my maintenance records and was able to prove literally 100% of the items they said needed immediate fixing had already been done within the last 15,000-20,000 miles (items that need to be done every 60,000-100,000 miles). They tried to pass them off as critical, imminent, catastrophic failures waiting to happen, but it was a load of crap. They clearly didn't look at the vehicle because if they had, they would've seen nothing needed replacement. They clearly didn't look at the Acura system records because they would've seen all the work had already been completed. I question if they ever even turned the vehicle on because it's clear they didn't even inspect the vehicle.
This is a completely untrustworthy dealer with mechanics who are clearly willing to lie and deceive to make an extra buck. Avoid at all costs unless you like being fleeced.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

As a loyal Honda/Acura Buyer since 2000 (90% of the cars we have leased or bought), it was disheartening to see this was THE worst experience of our car buying lives and it continues every day we get into this car.
The car was "held" for us for close to 2 weeks yet when we showed up, we were handed numbers and rates without even looking at the car, which was extremely fishy looking back, and now we know why. For starters the car was dirty, not cleaned and not ready, and when asked to be cleaned it was done with obvious annoyance like we asked for something a highly rated dealer would not provide. We were taken aback, we thought buying a luxury Car, albeit used, meant it would be fully detailed, We always got that service even with Honda. Maybe that service is reserved for people with better means then us. When we did look at the car we were rushed, and we did not pick up on the smell of smoke. after we finished the paperwork, and the car was " loosely cleaned" and we were putting the mats in, I noticed the smoke smell but erroneously thought the person that "cleaned" the car was a smoker and it residual.
It was not .
Let's just say since the day we came home I have used 4 smoke remover Bombs from Armour All , replaced the air filter which was filthy, performed a complete leather treatment again Armour all, used gain air fresheners in every vent, used fabric spray on the ceilings, and a vinyl cleaner for all surfaces, the smell is not abated. we will now have to take it to a professional detailer with the hopes that they can perform what I could not, I followed Car and Drivers recommendations for removal.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Since purchasing my vehicle at Montgomeryville Acura a year and a half ago, I have always received excellent service from the buying experience to the vehicle maintenance. The staff here is competent, professional and respectful of customers.

I recently leased a Acura MDX from Montgomeryvile Acura and had a very positive experience despite the current supply chain struggles. Charlie executed on a game plan to get me in the car I wanted. This should be a 5 star review and up until the last two visits it would have been. I have had 5 Acura's in my life with a few Lexus and a few Mercedes as well. Montgomeryville Acura's service "was" as good as any service department I have experienced until this year, I don't know what has changed.
I have had issues with not just Montgomeryville, with dealerships automatic car washes scratching my cars. My cars never go through a machine car wash, M Benz hand washes.
Three visits ago I asked them to not wash , which I have been doing for years. They washed it and didn't even dry it. The next day I noticed a bunch of chips in the side of my car , strange but I couldn't for certain blame the dealer.
Next visit I asked again for no was after the service,they washed it and when I get home I noticed the terrible scratches on the right door of my car. I hand was my car and know these scratches definitely weren't there before my visit because I had just washed it.I email the service manager with my complaint and ask"what do I need to do to communicate that I don't want my car washed after service "? No response at all. I let it go and plan on going to a different dealer for service.
A few weeks ago I get recall service done and they do a service B and find front end issues and fix it. The car was wobbling so I thought a tire was out of balance or something. Driving home I notice when I hit around 50 mph the car starts wobbling so I email my service manager Shawn Pallay....the email bounces back , his email is incorrect on their website. So I call him to ask if maybe I can bring it back for a double check on the tire balance or are my tires just worn and that's why it's wobbling. He doesn't pick up and does call back but we weren't able to reach each other so I gave up. Also emailed service manager & Shawn that his email is incorrect ( it's missing a y in Montgomeryville) and no response.
Up until my last three services I would have given this place 5 stars , unfortunately I will recommend going somewhere else , it's just not worth having your paint scratched.
12-19-17 update . I just got my car fixed correctly finally! It was a front axle that needed to be replaced and fortunately it was still under warranty.
It just really is sad that I had to have my local mechanic diagnose this issue, he said it is a common issue with Honda/Acura. Then I took it to Acura Lehigh Valley to get repaired.

I come every few months for the typical maintenance services and annually for my car inspection. I suggest to check their online site for service specials prior to making an appointment. Don't forget to mention the coupon and even show your service advisor a screenshot from your phone. Reasonable pricing.

So I think we can all agree that maybe buying a car at this time is not ideal. I held out as long as I could until my car finally had enough. Searching the web I found a beautiful 2012 RDX at Montgomeryville Acura. I headed down to take a look but before I could get there the car was sold. Hesitant I went in anyway and was met by Mike Berstecher. He showed me around and tried to find me a car within my budget. I came across a mint 2012 TL. Mike tossed me the keys and after the test ride I knew I would purchase. With the way the market is and them knowing I needed a car I felt like a good deal was out the window. However Mike and Charlie had a great deal laid out by the time I got back from the test ride. Mike went above and beyond to help me and just wanted to say thank you! I'll be seeing you for that new RDX!!
