Great authentic Mexican restaurant! Their margaritas are only $8! My bf and I stopped in right before a snow squall. The food is reasonable priced and delightful.

Some of the best Latin food I've had in a long time! It's all super fresh and delicious and a must try if you're in the area. The staff were very attentive and kind and made the whole experience lovely. The ambiance is nothing crazy but it's clean and the food makes it all worth it. Please give this place a try! It's hard to find good Latin food so I'd travel far and wide for a place like this!

Really nice tucked away spot found inside a motel strip. The food is actually really good! The service is well managed and locked over. Finding something that taste as good or close to where your from when your in a other area, you might want to consider this place. We tried various items off the menu and we enjoy'd almost every bit! We'll prices and good portions will always leaving you to come back again!

Highly recommend! This was authentic Central American food, with a great range of familiar stuff like quesadillas and nachos, as well as tilapia in chipotle cream sauce and tostones on the side. The waitstaff were lovely, so attentive and friendly. The cozy interior reminded me of places I'd seen on my travels to the region, with lots of memorabilia. Easy drive from Kalahari, and a much better experience all around!

At first glance this restaurant places you in a questionable situation, only from the exterior of the building. The restaurant is part of an old motel and even though the exterior is not inviting one must remember that the best cooks are usually the ones from less expensive environments. Upon walking into the restaurant your taken back to a Latin ambiance of deep culture with music in the air and paintings hung all around. The employees greet you in Latin language so if you do like I did and try to speak Californian Spanish you will still be alright. I was excited to see plantains on the menu however I will have to go back to try them. I went with one of the lunch specials, a chicken wrap with fries. Oh the wrap is filled with bell peppers and seasoned as if you were eating right in Latin America, wrapped with a skillet fried thin tortilla, amazing and filling. Definitely will be returning to try the evening experience because they have a small bar and it appears that they may have Latin dancing, not sure however there is a disco ball that hangs from the ceiling.

I tried this spot while out of town for work and it didn't disappoint. When I arrived I parked in the lot. It is connected to an apartment area fyi and doesn't look like much from the outside. At first I was skeptical but gave it a try. I was greeted when I walked in by Andres, the owner. He was supper nice and so was the server Rachel. The place was cute and cozy.
There is no bar seating so sat at a table in the back. I started with a sangria which looked like just regular red wine when it came out but was good to taste. The drinks are super cheap here. For my entrée I got the garlic shrimp and boy was it good. It was seasoned to perfection. I ate every bit. The bill was super affordable also. I truly enjoyed!Helpful 14Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - 20166265Mar 6, 2023
The place is off the main road in a little cut, doesn't look like much from the outside but all seats were taken with constant traffic. We arrived about 30 mins before closing on a Sunday. Waited about 5 mins or less for seating. We were served Nachos Grande and a glass of water prior to placing our order. I ordered the Bandeja Paisa which is white rice, steak, pork rinds, fried eggs, sausage and avocado and my wife had the Camarones al Aljillo which was yellow rice, shrimp in garlic and wine sauce with a side of avocado and salad. Both meals were good however I wouldn't recommend the Bandeja Paisa if you are very health conscious as it looks to pack a lot of calories as everything is fried but was worth the try as I only ate half of it. Over all the service was great, we were waited on by Tatiana. You may pay on your way out at the register or scan the QR code and pay with your phone.

This little restaurant had amazing South American cuisine. I had the seafood stew that had a flavorful broth and a huge amount of seafood. My husband's chicken in a butter jalapeño sauce balanced a bit of heat and great taste. The avocado salad was also amazing!!! A great dinner experience!
