We were in town on a Tuesday Night, and most restaurants in Hudson are closed on Tuesdays. That being said, you would think there would have been more than a bartender, one server and a manager. Normally, slow service makes me crazy; but somehow, with my first Margarita in hand, everything went great. I had two of their "X"Margaritas and they were great!

We had fish tacos and they were good. The desserts, Flan, were excellent.

With Mexican on the mind, my business partner and I stopped in for lunch. Upon entry was an authentic Mexican theme.

The food was nothing to write home about, 3 stars.

What was really interesting was the really bad service and atmosphere. Now to be fair, our service was good. We had the bartender waiting on us. However, 3 of 4 other tables had horrible service. Now I have never ever written a review about others experience, nor will I try, but believe this I'd relevant. The restaurant is rather large, bit we were all sat next to each other. There was no ambient music to help the mind wander, therefore every server outside of the bartender, had complained about or blamed someone else on staff for their serving failures. Lady beside me had to wait 15 minutes for a coffee! Her husband was less than pleased. The 4 top had 2 of their 4 plates remade and the third table got forgotten about, literally. One lady entered the restaurant and waited a to be seated for 7 minutes, while he staff just sat a talked together, oblivious to her entering.

This place has the right feel, but needs a complete staff overhaul. And please get some ambient music. The silence, well, deafening.

Food quality, staffs attitude and attentiveness and atmosphere are key to the dining experience.

I would never come back here and recommend finding another place along the strip.

We went in on a Saturday night looking for Good Mexican good and Margaritas and unfortunately got neither. If you are going to charge $3 for chips and salsa the chips shouldn't be stale. We ordered two Margaritas which were delivered to the table in a highball glass. When we asked for it to be poured in to a proper glass they said they were all out which was curious considering there was only a handful of other customers. The drinks we aweful, all mix and very little tequila neither of us took more than a few sips before giving up and ordering beer. When our food came the server cautioned me the the top plate was hot, and it was, however my food was only lukewarm. The steak enchilada special had good flavor but the steak was dry and tough. My date had the wild mushroom chili relleno's which were greasy and the cheese it was swimming in appeared to be the type that comes in a can. The wait staff was friendly but the atmosphere was off, there was music playing when we arrived but went off after about 15 minutes.

We were surprised that it wasn't busy on a Saturday night, guess now we know why....

This was supposed to be a margarita. Definitely not the authentic margarita we went looking for. all cheap mix and very little tequila

Just finished my 3rd Alka seltzer, after getting so sick from the tasteless carnitas and under cooked "fried plantains". My fault for not looking up Yelp first to notice the poor score on this place.
Over priced fake Mexican food that makes you feel like death afterwards. Beware

This is more of a tourist Mexican type place than real Mexican food. The Baja fish tacos were great, though overpriced at $18 for three. Sure it comes with rice and beans, or a side salad, but still.

Hudson has that hipster foodie atmosphere but the quality here isn't quite up to par with the cost. And they charge for chips and salsa, which at these entree prices should be free.

It seems the owners of Mexican Radio are trying to create a trendy Brooklyn/Portland/Austin vibe without actually putting LOVE into the place. They come close to succeeding; the enchiladas had delicious mole and verde sauce, but were hastily put together and a bit dry. The decor is great, colorful and funky. The tres leches cake is delicious on its own, but they put (canned, not homemade) whipped cream on top. Why?

The service was predistracted. I asked for a second beer which was forgotten, and the after our check was dropped our server disappeared, forcing me to ask the host to run my card.

If they lowered prices and raised quality, I would recommend Mexican Radio.

Dinner at Mexican Radio was a total mess.

The evening started with a lost reservation. Fortunately, they were able to find room for our whole party, but it was just a sign of things to come.

Service was polite, but everything took forever, despite the waiters and waitress kinda just hanging out in the corner. 15 minutes for water seems pretty unreasonable. Dishes came out incomplete and missing sides that never arrived; no one came back to even check on what we were missing. As a result, the plate of fries that I ordered, without any of the promised sides, were bland and boring. Sides were missing for multiple people. The water on the table was warm.

The calamari appetizer was very good, but their 'large plate' size was incredibly small - especially for the price we paid. And DO NOT get the "fried ice cream" - it is a pathetic lie. It's just vanilla ice cream with corn flakes throw on it, resulting in a crust that's basically unchewable. It's not even doughy so much as it feels stale and rubbery, and the whole thing was definitely not fried. That sad, sad dessert was the breaking point here - were it not for trying to chew through the world's most dishonest ice cream, we would even be here on Yelp.

End of the night and billing was a mess because of missing items. We paid $90 for two people to eat a small meal which was 100% not worth it. I left feeling like I was mugged. You can easily get better Mexican food at half the price anywhere else. Try Taco Bell.

I was excited to try this place and now I'm just hoping I don't spend the rest of my night over my toilet praying for god to take me.

The drinks were OK, on par with any TGI Fridays in any sad mall in America. A bit sweet for my taste.

I ordered something simple, the taco salad. It was huge! Way too much food for one human. I tried to eat it but it tasted off, eventually I listened to my stomach. After a couple of bites I figured it was the meat. I gave it back and got the basic nachos.

The cheese was very greasy and the dish overall was basically tasteless outside of the piles of jalapeno I heaped on them. The dessert menu was an even bigger train wreck. If you go to street fairs for the cuisine, this is your place!

If you like really good Mexican food that has all the tastes that Mexico can provide, go somewhere else.

The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating so there's that. Now off to CVS for stomach meds. I have a feeling this will not end well.

Chose Mexican Radio for lunch after a day touring the Berkshires with friends.

Lunch prices are slightly less than dinner prices until 3:30.

We chose 1 Quesadilla Wedge with Steak as appetizer, and 4 entrées of Seafood Chimichanga, Triple Enchilada (Carnitas/pork was the favorite), shredded chicken burritos, and vegetarian spring rolls (just okay). All tortilla dishes served with rice and beans. With 2 margaritas, 1 beer, and 1 soda: $127 for 4 including tax and tip (pics uploaded)

No chips and salsa offered at lunch. Perhaps that's how lunch is priced less than dinner?

Top shelf margarita ($12) was well made. House margarita was $9.

Nice addition: Chatham India Pale Ale also offered on tap, but did not sample.

      Everything tasted fresh.

Small gripe: drink prices are not fully listed, so ask to avoid surprises.

If you come by train to Hudson, it's about a 1 mile/20 min walk up Warren Street.

This was a so-so meal. I had the enchiladas trio (pork, chicken and beef) that included three mole's. I could barely distinguish the difference between the three, which was meh. My partner had the chicken frijitas...which you would expect to be sizzling...but it was simply a "hot plate". Again---meh. Lastly, I didn't even eat my rice and beans because they were cold. Again: meh.

I am not a Mexican food snob, but I certainly wouldn't recommend or go back.

Solid brunch - $20 for a drink and food. They also have a really extensive lunch menu with quesadillas, tacos, burritos, etc. I ordered the huevos revueltos with cheese, mushrooms and spinach. We also got a chimichanga from the brunch menu that was super filling. All the entrees come with a side of rice and beans or salad. Def recommend for a fun and colorful place to relax and start the day right.
