Lens replacement such as panoptics or synergy?

      A:

Yes. It would be best to ask them, but this is probably routine for them. Call. The facility is quite impressive and professional-looking. As this is a common and fairly easy eye operation, they surely have several doctors to choose among.

The cost is higher than most Eye Centers that I have been to before, however they are very nice and courteous. It seems they have made new procedures that are not covered by insurance which made my out of pocket around 300.00 it hard when you're on a fixed income.

TERRIBLE experiences with the receptionists. They get very frustrated if you ask a question, and I usually get the answer "I don't know!". The billing department has been a poor experience, too. But the staff in the back and the doctors are fabulous! They are the only reason I return.

Very efficient, place was. Clean and staff friendly. I didn't have to wait but a few minutes. A good experience.

They don't come any better than Dr Paul Jorizzo. Yes he is smarter than the average bear. But he's also one of the most interesting and best humans I've ever had the privilege to know. Thank you Paul Jorizzo, thank you for your attention to detail, thank you for your humanity, thank you for saving my life! Linda Trombadore

I got LASIK about six months ago at the Medical Eye Center. Its been great up till around December that my eyes begun to feel lots of pressure. During the LASIK process I was told that if I have any concerns about my sight I could come in for free post visits for a year (which for the price of LASIK made it seem great). I went down, was told I have dry eyes and I'd need treatment with artificial tears. Ended up getting billed for the visit despite never having dry eyes prior to LASIK. When I called customer service, I was told that I'd have to pay for the bill because I was given an exam. The only thing covered by the free visits has nothing to do with exams or treatments for the side effects to LASIK!

You are a number. So many patient's. Long waits. Inexperienced, high turnover staff. First MD never remembered me from one visit to the next-for years, gave poor explanations. Switched MDs much better, excellent, but surgery was a very negative experience. Had anesthesia problems and no one returned my calls for a week. Was marginalized, dismissed and ignored. Horrible experience. So typical of todays HC Medicine $$$$$. There are many other options in the valle.

Believe the negative reviews. After lots of tests, some done twice, they finally told me I need eye surgery. They milked my insurance for months when they could have come to that conclusion much, much sooner. They really should be under investigation for fraud.

Horrible experience! I was there for nearly 2 hours, moving around from room to room for an eye exam. Yea the place looks like it's high tech, but the staff aren't. I got stuck with someone in training, who had me read a chart, in room #1) and his approach made me feel very uncomfortable. The prescription I received from the doctor was clearly wrong, so I returned to have my old prescription renewed. They have no consideration for your time, they keep you waiting, yet rush through their exam.

This review is for the medical eye center glasses. My husband and I have been going to the Medical Eye Center for many many years and the doctors are good there but if you want glasses, go somewhere else. The last three times we have purchased glasses from them they have done a dis service to themselves. It took me almost 6 months to get mine, and not during covid time, but I am writing this review because my husband has bad eyes, he has double vision and his doctor said it can be corrected, hopefully with his new prescription. On September 27 we took his prescription to them and they said two weeks. After 3 weeks, I called them and they said it should be there any day. He had an appointment the next week so we stopped in to check and no glasses, so they called me and told me they had to order a special material to make them, and it had just arrived and would be ahipped out on Friday and he would have them by October 19th. It never happened. When i called they had a message that they are working with a small staff due to covid. Never heard that Covid is back here, anyway i did not leave a message. Called today and got the same message so I left a kind of upset message. It did not take more than 15 minutes to get called back with another story. She told me that they had had to order the material from Germany and it had not ever came in. So they are going to expedite the glasses by using a different material, (assume it is lesser quality, or they could have used it before) and if the glasses passed inspection they would ship out Friday! Or if not they would ship out Monday. I was then really sarcastic and said so he should have them in December, with any luck and said thanks and hung up. I think they either need to get new people to work there or get a new lab. Having to deal with double vision is not good for anyone! Very disappointed with them. The doctors there get 5 stars! But not the glass department!

Had an appointment today at 8:20am waited until 9:30 still had not seen Dr French. I couldn't wait to see just how long it was going to be so I left with out seeing her. My time is just as valuable as anyone else. And by the way this appointment had been scheduled for month.
