Great selection of children's frames and friendly staff. Street parking makes it a little tricky for accessibility but happy with the frames we ordered. Their website could use an update, as the kids section gets an error and is unaccessible. Prices are comparable with other optical stores.

The service is wonderful! They fixed my glasses even though it wasn't purchased from them! Told me to come back to them if I have more problems!

I've worn glasses since I was a young child. As I became more and more near-sighted and later needed progressive lens, finding eye frames proved to be challenging. Yet at Medford Optical, they bent over backwards to find a set of frames that not only were stellarly attractive but fit me perfectly. This took time on their part, but they were not deterred in finding something that would be a good fit given that I wear glasses 24/7. Aside from their professionalism, they are easy to talk to and most helpful. I heartily recommend this practice.

Very professional, work fast, and friendly. Less expensive than other opticals in the area -Cambridge, for instance- and better.

Called on May 12th and made an appointment for the 14th. Specifically for an eye exam for glasses and contacts. I show up and the very gruff lady says there are no Doctors on Friday and I have no appointment. This she kept repeating ad nauseum. She says I must have made it across the street. I verify I have their phone number and I even look down and see my name with Rx next to it on the appointment sheet. Then she proceeds to question my name in a demeaning way, harshly asking if I have insurance, and trying to get me to make a new appointment. Zero apologies for taking an appointment that couldn't be fulfilled and wasting my time. Avoid this place if you'd like to be treated as decent customer.

OH YEAH!!! This place is great!!! If you come here you would LOVE to see Dana. I needed to get my glasses measured before a basketball game and Medford Optical did it so fast!!!

Nice selection of children's glasses which seems to be hard to find for toddlers. Staff are very nice and helpful. Parking is a bit of a hassle but usually find parking.

Overpriced! Everything from frame to lens to reflective coating is way overpriced. Not responsive over email or call!

The doctor and staff is very friendly. I paid $20 copay with my insurance for the eye exam. However, the doctor refused to take measurements of my pupil distance. Isn't it part of eye exam?!!!!
If you want to know your pupil distance, buy a pair of glasses or pay another $35 to have it measured!!!!!! Ridiculous!!!!!
Won't comeback for eye exam again!!

Fabulous experience! Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient staff. Dana solved my problem after 3 exams from two other places, 4 pairs of glasses made from the same businesses. I don't even have a complicated prescription but he took the time with me until I was happy and I wasn't rushed even though they were very busy. Very important to me, they are still practicing covid protocol to keep their staff and their clients safe. I live about a hour away but it is worth the drive. Client for life!!
