Love's Travel Stop

Tam very runs a very dirty shift, staff opened door while I was on the pot. Embarrassing.

Typically stop at loves on our way to and from like this one particularly as they had a fenced dog park with picnic tables so our dog could relax for a little bit and we could relax while we eat lunch. It's a typical loves people are friendly and helpful.

Accesible bathroom also for wheelchair. Many options for food, also a subway and Mcdonalds indoor.
We were going for Subway but decided to do the hot dog deal and a couple of fruit cups.
Many snacks to choose from, many employees keeping the place working smoothly.
Space is small and it gets really busy, there were some empty containers on the way.
Something I liked is that they have hand sanitizer in different points, as you enter or leave, you are encouraged to keep being safe by using the hand sanitizer.

Loves Travel Stops are always great to stop at for fuel, breaks, snacks or souvenirs. They usually have one of the common eating places connected to them and they are generally good. From time to time some need a little TLC, but generally they're ok.

Not NEARLY enough stalls in the ladies room for a truck stop in this remote area.

The lack of adequate facilities makes for long lines - 4 stalls in this busy truck and traveler stop is INADEQUATE. The lines for the ladies room stretch into the store - we counted 27 in the line as we left - and we waited in a line of 16 women.

Avoid this truck stop and use the free state rest areas instead - or head into town.

This Love's was very clean and has very attentive employees. I pulled in about 6am for a pit stop on the way to Corpus Christi. There was coffee and fresh baked pastries.

They have showers as I think all Love's do.

Horrible male employee working the fuel desk. Told me to go stand in the hallway and wait for someone to come out of the shower to use the bathroom. The women's was out of service.
No assigned shower, not a clean shower. Disgusting.
Not to mention his attitude was anything but enthusiastic or professional

This place sits in the perfect area for a pit stop after a long drive, it's got all the amenities that one needs after being on the road for a while. It is connected to a famous fast food restaurant and has a variety of other goodies to choose from. The outside has plenty of room for semi trucks and even has an area to plug in your hybrid vehicle. My one and only complaint and a big issue here are the restrooms, they are dirty and sometimes even a bit filthy which in my book is a big no no. If they could address this issue here they would get a bit more stars on there ratings.

Clean and great selection of drinks, food, and snacks. Has a Subway and a McDonalds attached as well. Also carries phone accessories, toys, and gifts. I was surprised that it only had 4 restroom stalls considering it is a large truck stop. Overall we will be stopping in on our next trip.
