I've been going to Dr. Lowe's office for over 2 years. They are professional, attentive, and experienced. From my first visit, they understood my concerns and talked me through the steps necessary to get to an awesome smile. I would recommend them to everyone.

Quick, courteous and professional are the key words I would apply to this practice. Great attention to making everything from the exam to cleaning and X-rays as comfortable and pleasant as possible.
Each procedure was explained carefully beforehand along with treatment options and recommendations.

Just finished our six month checkup for the entire family and again very impressed with the professionalism, friendliness and kindness of the dental technicians in particular who had to deal with two squirmy kids as well as an adult. I love this practice. I first started two years ago just for Invisalign. While they wanted me as a patient- they appreciated my request to just do Invisalign. My results were excellent!
A year later I was in search of a new dentist. They remembered me. Were friendly and I received zero up charge. I just signed up my son here too. They are efficient, friendly and helpful. Answered all my questions, didn't take unnecessary xrays and asked my acceptance for procedures all along the way. Please don't come here, you will waste your time and Money! I had a horrible experience with them. Their staff don't know their own processes and procedures. Below is my experience with them; if you had time, please read it and don't get Robbed! Instead go to Dental Arts in Gainesville!
Me and my sister came here to do the regular cleanup. They took my sister's X-rays and a doctor came and talked to her for like ten minutes they charged me $86 for this since my sister didn't have an insurance. They recommended me to the the same thing.
The next day I went there, they did an X-ray and the doctor didn't sit there even for two minutes, they charged my insurance Almo $300. My insurance covered only $83 dollars and they sent the rest of the bill to me, BUT when they were charging my insurance they didn't give me a treatment plan, they didn't give me a receipt what they were gonna charge my insurance, when I received the bill, I went to their office, I asked them what is this bill for, then they explained me that they had charged my insurance a different amount.
First thing, why your rates are different when you charge a person with insurance and a person without insurance.
Second thing, By Law they are required to give us a receipt what they are charging your insurance. One person was saying " Oh we have a lot of customers we don't have time to give everyone a receipt) then the other person says we should have given you a receipt, The manager says, we gave you a receipt but you lost it. I asked the manager to pull up my records/my treatment plan in their system, they didn't have both. Then they admitted they had forgotten, but they cannot send the same initial price to my insurance, because they had sent the higher price already. Then she charged me 86 dollars and said they will ask for my claim back from my insurance.
PLEASE SAVE YOURSELF SOME TIME AND MONEY, THESE PEOPLE ARE NOT PROFESSIONAL AND THEY ARE VERY RUDE! THEIR PRICES ARE ALOT HIGHER THAN ANY OTHER PLACE FOR NO REASON AND THEIR SERVICE IS HORRIBLE! I GOT MY CLEANING and MY TREATMENT DONE IN DENTAL ARTS IN GAINESVILLE FOR A VERY REASONABLE PRICE AND I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM OVER THESE PEOPLE!
The doctor who replied back on my review is Who wanted to pull my records, but she didn't have anything in her system. I asked her about her processes, she told me everything except for the Receipt part. When She admitted that it was their fault since they didn't have any treatment plans for me in the system, Then she wanted to take a different way out, By saying "You are Afghan right, Me too" in Dari Language. We appreciate and value every feedback we recieve, however, I really don't know how to respond since none of what you have posted is accurate. Considering that 75% of the reviews you have left other businesses are 1 star as of today's date, I can only assume what your motivation is. We are not perfect, but what you have described is not who we are.
Those that took the time to read the review, thank you for your dedication to finding a good dentist. The Lifetime Smiles team and I are proud to call the Haymarket/Gainessville area our home. We have had the privilege of serving this community for over 10 years. Our doctors and team members not only work here, but most of us live here too. Our patients are not just a number to us, but friends as well. We have had the honor of being invited to their homes for birthdays, graduations party, attend their kids wedding and on a somber note their funerals. We are in business because of the trust our patients have place upon us and we value each and everyone of them. We will always go the extra mile to make sure they are happy and healthy. Please take the time to read the dozens of positive reviews on Yelp, and over 150 Five star reviews on Google so you can get an accurate picture of who we are and then make your decision.

so I've been going here for several years and the last few years - every time I go / they have something else that needs fixed / done . I've now been going to get 2nd opiniona and low and behold / other dentists don't agree ..
example - last summer , they were insistent that If I didn't do something with my bite / fix my back teeth - they said my teeth were going to start cracking ... scary right , I'm 49 - I really don't want my teeth to start cracking . so I went to GDA and saw one of their dentista for my 2nd opinion- and she didn't agree she said I'm way far away from teeth cracking and thought a simple mouth guard would be perfect for now .
fast forward to this January- I go and low n behold they find all these gum issues / (stating I need to have the bacteria test done )/ and if I don't this could be really bad for me , bacteria could get in the pockets of my gum and wreak havoc.... if the bacteria test comes back positive then they would need to do a few rounds of deep gum cleaning . they even pulled out LAST years X-rays and were like "oh wow, yes you're bone is dropping and this is a real problem. so thisntime I went to GreenHill Crossing dentist - to again get a 2nd opinion . Lifetime found multiple 4,5's and a few 6's in my gum measuring. Well the dentist at Greenhill found no 5's or 6's and said of course there is bacteria in my mouth- we all have bacteria in our mouths. She saw 0 reason to do a deep cleaning on me - said that was really jumping the gun- that my gums were nearly perfect ...FYI I checked with 4 dentists- none of them do the bacteria test because of pur mouths always have bacteria !!
Lifetime was ready to let me spend nearly $800 (total) out of pocket on gum test / gum cleanings and antibiotics that weren't necessary (& I did get pushed into the test which was $180 out of pocket ) . Plus they wanted me to start coming every 3 months for cleanings - again that would be out of pocket since my insurance covers 2/ year.

I really enjoy going to LifeTime Smiles for all my dental services! Dr. Sina Reangber and staff absolutely care about their patients. And Katie has been the absolute BEST! She answers all of my dental & other 'corny' questions, and she makes me feel very confident in my cleaning/dental progress.

I wanted to give 0 stars to Lifetime Smiles (at Dominion Valley Haymarket) actually don't go to this office because they care more about a charge for $75 for me being 20 minutes late to an appointment or my son being unable to show due to school SOL's than the thousands of dollars spent through the years with them. I recently contacted them bc I have lost my job as of May this month and they were not able to schedule me until 2 weeks after my termination date which would put me at a disadvantage of losing my Health savings account money. Instead of letting me keep my measly account credit for $329.00 which they notified me I had... she threw at my face that they had to keep $75 because of a no show in December last year during this pandemic, on top of it I worked in Arlington and unable to make appts on April and they were incapable of fitting me in and scheduled me for June 2 so she was unable to waive this extra $75 charge. I don't even know what her name was , first she said she had to talk to her manager and in a matter of seconds which I am sure she didn't confer with a manager she made the asinine decision on her own. These people at their front desk have no compassion or common sense. I ended up going to an appointment on a more convenient day (a Saturday) at another Dentist Hani Hanna (Emergency Dental Care -Arlington) and they took care of my issue in a satisfactory and friendly manner. Don't fall for the comments they respond to about being good to their customers...

Hi Tania. We are sorry you had a bad experience. I am at a disadvantage where I cannot properly comment without violating HIPPA, however Iet me summerize your comment.
1. You stated in your review that you made 3 appointments.
2. You did not show up to your 2 scheduled appointment and showed up 20 minutes late to your next appointment.
3. You are mad at us because your insurance is terminating and we cannot fit you in before that.
As far as the No-Show fee goes, we really don't care about that and gladly waive it. What we care about is when people make an appointment (commitment to show up) they either show up or call to cancel. When you makes an appointment and don't show up, you take that time from someone else that needs it. When you show up 20 minutes late to your appointment, you are asking me to make every other patient scheduled after you to wait 20 minutes to be seen. It is not right to make other people that show up on time wait because you cannot show up on time. It is also not right to make appointments and not show up to them. Thank you Dr. Reangber and staff! You are absolutely the best! I live overseas and my crown broke. Luckily I had a scheduled visit to the area but only for a few days. They scheduled me to see what they could do and ended up getting two crowns fixed the very same day! (They have the latest technology to get job done). Everyone in office is friendly, caring and work together the make your experience comfortable. Next time I'm in the area I will definitely schedule for regular maintenance dental care!

Updating my review after five years. I am currently still a patient and still pleased with the wonderful service I receive. The staff members are competent and kind and are very personable. I enjoy my visits every time. My sister and I got our Invisalign work done here and are extremely pleased with the results. I am still in the middle of my treatment but my sister's teeth looks fantastic! I believe there's a before and after image on the website. I would high recommend you setting up a visit.

I went there the first time about a year ago concerned with a crown I had some discomfort with. They assured me it looked ok and scheduled me for deep cleanings and irrigations instead of looking at the crown. Its a year later and that tooth had to be removed (by my new dentist) I was told if I got to it sooner, it could have been saved.
They do make you pay for 50% of treatments up front, and each time I've gone they have seemed more concerned with scheduling the next appointment.
Also, I've noticed that anytime this facility receives a 1 star review, the owner will respond with comments regarding the reviewers habits of giving 1 star reviews. When people have a great experience or a terrible experience, thats when they're most inclined to post a review. Take a look at my profile, pretty even keeled, just an honest review of my experience.
