Lake Elsinore Transmission

My nephew, Harry, and I want to thank you for repairing the transmission in the 1995 Mazda 626 that I had given him. He needed the car to get a steady job in San Diego County.

Because of time constraints, David recommended that the transmission be removed by a local auto shop, transported to his shop in Lakeland Village, and reinstalled by the auto shop.

David was able to get the transmission turned around quickly at a price that we could afford.

Called on a Monday to see if I could have my transmission worked on, but I wasn't sure when I would be able to bring it in. Called again the following day and left a message, and didn't hear back. Called again on Wednesday and got ahold the owner to try and set up a time to drop off my vehicle on Friday since I normally do not have any weekdays off to be able to drop off my vehicle. The owner said that he wouldn't be available on Friday but to keep in touch to possibly drop it off on Saturday. Called on Friday and left a message. Saturday called again no answer. Monday came around and I still hadn't heard from the owner so I decided to take my business elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience at this local business. Very professional and extremely kind associates. Josh was a major help with explaining my car issues and was very attentive with me having a pleasant experience. I would recommend this local company to all my friends and family.

Took my car to every place that I could and nobody could figure it out for me and told me I should go somewhere else. Took it to David, the owner, and he figured it out and had my car ready to be picked up so quickly! I am so impressed with his work and will definitely be returning and recommending him to anyone who has any issues with their car. It's​ as good as new!

I was on a family vacation 300 miles from home. My transmission went out on me. David was awesome and Got me back on the road the next day. I can't express how thankful I am to them. I highly recommend this place to anyone .

This shop was very honest and helpful when it came to diagnosing and repairing my van. They also had it back on the road quickly. I will definitely return! It's hard to find honest hard working mechanics and this shop went above and beyond!

Update - so they finally got my car done, and because it took so long, they didn't charge me anything, not even parts. So i am changing my review because even though it took a long time, they made right by it.

old review - I left my car there for over 3 weeks, to get worked on while i was out of town, i came back, and they hadn't even started yet. They gave me every excuse under the sun of why, but 24 days, and it hasn't even been started?

David is a standup guy, rebuilt my trans with a good price and real quick 5 stars love supporting local businesses

Hey you all if your looking for a good place for transmission work I highly recommend this place, they'll treat you very well , I took my chevy celebrity eurosport wagon there a while back when I first moved to lake Elsinore, I was greeted by the father who no longer works there, He was very knowledgeable in transmissions and his prices were very good .. but now his son is in charge ,he runs the shop with all his pops no how, also his kind and curtious service. I came to see if they could check my transmission it was slipping on my 57 chevy Belair, he quickly found out it just needed to add fluid, so he put in the correct amount, I was running very low, he was so cool we chit chated about his race car he runs at Fontana raceway, so he knows his stuff . He didnt even charge me for adding the fluid to my ride, I would take my prized possession to him with no doubt.. thanks buddy Ernie
