Let me first start by saying I love a good quickie. I decided last minute to cheat on my regular guy that services me and poked into Kwik Kar.
There was a gang of guys working hard to bang out each customer as kwik and efficient as possible. There was one that even serenaded while he changed someone's oil. Added a great ambience to the moment while they completed a thorough inspection under my hood.
It was so satisfying that I'll be back for more body work and a possible filter change to make sure my girl smells good. They even quoted me the price prior so I knew what services I was paying for.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

I apologize. I didn't know that Yelp made your comments private while updating. I deleted my response to that. I still think you guy are liars and scammers. I have and have had no interest in talking to you since the incident. Once people had blatantly tried to scam me and then tried to make me think it didn't happen as if I wasn't there and then tried to scam me on checkout and then again tried to gas light me into it being my fault somehow, I just wanted to get out of there and get the inspection over with since you had my money already. I came back and your mechanic was nasty to me about re-inspecting the gas cap which I saw took less than a couple of minutes after you guys made me wait another 40 minutes to do. I would think after pissing a customer off, you might want to be nice and accomodating.
You guys at least need to own up to making a "mistake." These guys put synthetic oil in my car when all I told them is I wanted an oil change and tried to charge me for it. It ended up that they said they didn't charge me for it, but I have no idea because they don't post how much they charge for an oil change anywhere. Not even on their website. When I said I didn't ask for synthetic oil it was argued that I did, then the mechanic claimed it was on my sticker they placed on my car last time which if true, moved the scam from last month to last year because if that was so, I didn't ask for it and I was ripped off back then.
I was already pissed off because the mechanic talked in a way as if I needed hundreds of dollars of work on my car to pass inspection before he later after I said multiple times "I will fix it and bring it back" bothered to tell me that my inspection wasn't contingent on these hundreds of dollars of work.
I'm sorry, I lost any level of trust at that point and I have no interest in what ever you guys have to say and certainly I will never take any cars to you anymore.

Nobody called me last week. I got one phone call from your area code and I verified that it was a telemarketer robot. No messages were left that week. I started getting phone calls after my last update. I don't want to talk to you or your mechanics. The time for coming clean and apologies would have been the day you guys were scamming and gas lighting me which is why I have no interest. The only reason I pointed out in my last update that I haven't been contacted is that your standard response when someone mentions you guys were scamming them or other complaints was that they would be contacted immediately after investigating which at least in my case didn't happen.Helpful 1Thanks 1Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Aug 7th Update: Mr. Rockett, I did immediately look into it but I apologize for not following up personally. We will be in contact immediately. I care deeply about my customers and will never cease to make sure they are taken care of. No one, absolutely no one should feel scammed or ripped off. I take pride in doing things the right way.

ryanAug 7, 2023Previous reviewFYI, a week later and apparently the owner hasn't "immediately" looked into getting to the bottom of me getting scammed by his mechanics and gotten back to me. I've noticed this between all the 5 star ratings, on the one star ratings he tends to say he's going to look into reports of their scams or shody workmanship and that he'll immediately get in touch. For me, one week later, nothing.
Jul 27, 2023Previous reviewNo longer would recommend. Scammers big time now. Noticed lots of new people working here. A guy called me into the car repair section to tell me about $500 worth of stuff was wrong with my car. I kept saying "I'll fix that and bring it back." No mention of it not having anything to do with the inspection. Finally they told me my gas cap failed inspection. This would have thrown an engine light if it was true, yet no engine light. When I checked out they charged me for synthetic oil, which I told them I didn't ask for. They gas lit me about that too. No prices anywhere there or on their website so I have no idea if I was charged for it. Told me to come back after I buy a new gas cap and they'd reinspect it. I went down the street and came right back and they put me at the end of the line behind several other people. Just to check the gas cap. So sad. The guy that I used to deal with here when I came the last two times was a straight shooter. Didn't work me. I need to find another place that doesn't scam now to get my wife's car inspected.

I recently visited Clarence at Kwik Kar Marsh, and I am thoroughly impressed with the level of service I received. I had my truck towed in with every light in the dashboard blaring at me. When I arrived, I was greeted with a smile, and the staff took the time to listen to my concerns about my vehicle. They then ran a thorough diagnostic to determine what needed to be done and explained everything to me in a way that was easy to understand. I appreciated the honesty and transparency of the team - they didn't try to sell me anything I didn't need.
The repairs were completed quickly and efficiently, and my truck runs better than ever. I am confident that the work was done with the utmost care and attention to detail. The pricing was also very fair, especially given the quality of the work.

I took my 23 year old Honda CRV in for a tune up. These guys did a great job !! She's running like new again. I'm defintely coming back.

Took my car in for an estimate based on what I was told at the dealer. I'm always nervous and usually I go straight into panic mode anytime I have to visit the repair shop. Upon arrival I was greeted and Gary confirmed several of the quoted repairs weren't needed. I'm terrible with names but every individual I came in contact with was courteous, professional and they even took the time to show me the issues with my car and explain why the repairs were necessary. I left my car and the work was completed with no delays. I highly recommend Kwik Kar Addison for your oil change and car repair needs as my 2014 is running like a brand new car.

I was greeted immediately and the young man at the counter quickly pulled my car into the service area to take a look at it. After about 10 minutes I knew exactly what was causing my issue. By now I'm having a complete meltdown, however Austin helped me through it. He was able to find parts for my vehicle, provided me an exact quote of parts/labor and assured me my vehicle would be ready the next afternoon. As promised I received a call actually before noon stating my car was up and running. I couldn't be more pleased with Austin and his team...I'm terrible with names but each person I came in contact with was courteous, professional and seemed as if they were passionate about the service they provided not to mention the waiting room is immaculate and they stock my favorite coffee. I definitely recommend Kwik Kar Lube & Auto Repair and will see them again soon for scheduled maintenance.

So I just want to start off by saying I have been to this location before and received stellar service. I'm not quite sure what happened this time however. It took at least 10 minutes before anyone even came to the front desk a few other people were waiting before me so I just assumed it was busy. However I could hear and see some of the employees hanging out and messing around. I came in for an oil change and a diagnostic analysis and about 45 mins later I was presented with an invoice with an estimate for almost $900. I was told about the financing option which was nice but after completing my application and being approved I figured I'd be on my way soon seeing as how the oil change was complete. After a while I began to get restless and decided just to look out and see if anyone was actually working on my car and to my horror I saw the mechanic who was supposed to be working on my car had been in the office eating and hanging out. Now I'm looking around and everyone who was here when I arrived are gone and people have come, had their cars serviced and gone and I'm still waiting with no updates. So not only do I feel like my day has been wasted but no one ever came by to update me about anything. I'm very disappointed at how terrible the service was this time around but hopefully it was just a one time thing but I'm not sure that I'll be back. I work hard for my money and my time is valuable so maybe next time a little sense of urgency and customer service would be nice I know I would have appreciated it.

This place popped up on my map so I thought I'd check it out and I was pleasantly surprised. Omar was a young gentleman who was taking care of me and he was very thorough he had a great attitude and they got me in and out it took less than 30 minutes. I noticed that all the other technicians were equally helpful to other customers and overall it was a great environment and experience. I would definitely recommend this place as I will definitely be back in the future.

Wesley added a significant amount of coolant to my car today. He was so polite, kind and respectful. I would like for all mechanics to treat females in this manner. A little explanation of why my coolant was running low was so helpful.

My experience at this location was terrible. I had gone the day before and received great service, but today, that was no longer the case. I was beyond disappointed.
I took my second vehicle in for a state inspection. The place had an hour left before closing and customers were there. I pulled in and was greeted by a man who told me to fill out a form. He walked away before I could ask any questions and took it from me when I finished. He proceeded to stand somewhere while another man jumped into my car. He sped around the parking lot for a minute and parked my car on the side of the building, as if he finished. Low and behold, he returns to key without actually doing anything. He says my emergency break needs tightening and without it, I won't pass. I asked how much, and he proceeds to walk away to "find the supervisor." He didn't "find" anyone. He asked everyone standing around. I asked him the quote and suddenly he says $149+. I don't know where he came up with that, but I proceed to leave. I am beyond unhappy. I was told to come in the morning if I wanted to, but I will not return to this place. The service that I had received the day before must have been a one-time-only thing, because today's work was unacceptable. I felt disrespected and ignored.
