JOANN Fabrics and Crafts

Comfortable store because it's friendly. Everything for crafts and sewing is here, plus some decor items. I enjoy walking around looking at the holiday and seasonal items. I look for gifts because there is more here than craft stuff, so I take my time. Lots of fun stuff to see. I'm not a sewer, knitter, or a big project person, but I like to tinker around and try to make things. The fabrics are beautiful and hundreds of styles are in all colors and textures. A specialist will answer questions about sewing. She'll cut your fabric, suggest threads, patterns, etc., and you can ask about tips and suggestions for your project. I always look for the sale and clearance racks. Be sure to get Joann's app. There are coupons and specials. Don't shop without them. Joann's make shopping easy.

Love coming here for all of my fabric needs! I recently purchased some Christmas fabric for some stockings and pillows and had a 50% off coupon and it was such a steal. The fabric selection is so plentiful and the people who work here are awesome. It's a great place to go for all of your crafting needs and I highly suggest looking for a coupon online prior to going.

I'm by no means a crafter, but I've been coming to this store for as long as I can remember. My earliest memory was shopping in here with my Mom for fabric to make a toga in a school play of Greek gods in elementary school. Fast forward to college, and as a Greek, I shopped here constantly to buy scrapbooking supplies and fleece for sorority crafts. I never had any clue what I was doing, but thankfully the store was easy enough to navigate.

As an actual adult now, I sometimes dabble in making handmade things and I can find all my needed handmade supplies here. They have so many sections - ranging from jewelry, to oodles of fabric, framing needs, painting, drawing... the list goes on and on. If you can't find it here, you're not trying. They also carry seasonal decor, which is awesome, because I can always find inexpensive and cute decor for my door (which is great, because I live in the city, and if someone steals it, I won't have a heart attack.)

I wouldn't be surprised if JOANN is still serving the creative community in 10 years when my niece needs a toga for a school play. A great store with great supplies!
