Jack in the Box

I don't care what anybody says, Jack in the Box is FIVE !!! I mean the burgers are solid, you can get jalapeño poppers, your choice of curly or home style fries. The 2 for 99 cent tacos are still only 99 cents, I mean we're not talking about a tacos el gordi style taco but a fried greasy taco that's also somehow soft in the middle, I mean, what's not to love.

If you think Hack in the Box is only great for college students, your mistaken. Definitely recommend the sourdough jack or the bacon ultimate.

Did I also mention they have breakfast items and mozzarella sticks?

Absolutely terrible. Stood in drive through service line for 10 min , lady kept telling us to give her a second. We were the only car in line. When she finally came back I said "finally" out loud.
Hearing "finally" was way too much for her and she refused to service out , not explaining why.
And she is a manager there. Her name is Jonathan Jonathan. Horrible service. Go elsewhere.

This place is always good. The black manager was super friendly and easy to approach. She even ran outside to give us our burger we forgot. Download the jack in the box app to get the discounted food.

First, don't hate on me for being from the east coast and never having the chance to try Jack in the Box. Prior to coming out to San Diego I did my research to see what was nearby the hospital for food, don't worry, I didn't just seek out fast food, but this was a must try for me, just to clear my mind of it and say that I finally did try it.

Luckily for me this location was within walking distance from where I was staying. I arrived here and I was a bit confused if I could go in or not, I waited a bit to see if anyone entered or exited and with that cue I knew it was good to enter. Walking in I had no idea what the menu was, I didn't do all my research or I would have been able to have that already taken care of. I will say that the employees were quick to want to assist, but I had to ask for a minute so I could look over the menu.

I went with the Ultimate Cheeseburger Combo. I do have the say that they came near with the title ultimate, but I don't feel like it was the ultimate enough to encompass this moniker. The fries were kind of basic, enough salt on them to satisfy but not overdo it.

One thing I can say for sure is that this has put myself at ease with Jack in the Box. I can now say that I have tried it. It is weird that there are such distinct fast food franchises to areas of the country. It wasn't a disappointment to try, it just brought me back to the fact that most fast food burger joints all taste the same and just put a spin on it.

Just bad in general music playing loud everyone standing around and never asking there customers if thay need anything overall thay need training and a lot of it done in there for sure

Service is horrible, never go here. They are rude and not helpful at all. They don't care about customer service and choose to be difficult. I don't recommend.

Elias is so rude! Our orders were wrong and he got upset at us for them screwing up our order. Yelled at the kid at the cashier in front of everyone. Got mad at other customers for asking for ketchup, ranch, etc. He clearly cannot work under pressure. He's very rude to the other employees as well. Never coming back here again! We only came because it's right across the street from the concert location.

I came here the other night to order food, and the lady never handed back my card ( my mistake to not check )
She proceeded to continue running my card on every single order, and unless I checked in the morning at my statement, I would've never known. I had over hundreds of dollars of transactions on my credit card that she continued to keep running and then used my card outside of the business.
Elias, the manager was extremely unhelpful, and when I went inside to get my card back, he explained me that he would never allow an employee to do that. The entire situation was handled extremely poorly, and I would not recommend coming back here or giving business to a team that fraudulently steals a credit card and a manager that can't hold accountability. Make sure you take your card with you haha

I was extremely disappointed. The table that I chose to eat is clean... So why is the Mgr. Elias cleaning the same table while I'm eating? That is very rude.
