The food here is incredible- definitely come!! The inly problemnis that they are very slow ...like 30 minutes to get the food.
So...when the food comes- it is so good that you forget all about the wait. The tempeh caesar was HUGE...with lovely garlic caesar dressing & olives. Amazing!
The tofu ruben is HUGE AND DELICIOUS...juicy ingredients- tofu, avocado, saurkraut, and yummy sauce!!
The food is over the top great!!!
Yay!!! Probably the best and most fresh tempeh caesar salad I've ever had.
Plus the dressing was luscious!
The giant portions make this place worth the wait!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Darin D.San Diego, CA9231May 14, 2024
I just had the most amazing and healthy meal. There were so many delicious sounding choices on the menu. I decided on the bean and sweet potato enchiladas. What a great choice. Absolutely loved it. I could tell from both the entree and the smoothie that the chefs have put great thought into fine tuning the ingredients for flavor and mouth feel. Amazing.

We went for a late lunch and it wasn't crowded. Roomy, quiet and pleasant. The food was very fresh and good, and there were many choices. As others have mentioned, portions were large and we each brought some home for an additional meal.

Came around noon, and the place was pretty empty--there were only one other couple. Parking was readily available. The food came out relatively quickly (15 mins). It was tasty and well-seasoned! Big portions too. It was a little hard to eat the tofu Reuben without the insides spilling out, but that's what forks are for! Would return.

This is a lovely place to bring your favorite vegan or vegetarian, or to stop in for a meatless meal.
It's cute inside, the staff is friendly, and the food is quite good. There's a little bit of everything here from Indian to breakfast to pizza.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 17, 2023
I was in the area this past Saturday and was looking for a vegan place to grab lunch. I found this place on Yelp and immediately went to it. I was pleasantly surprised to find a pretty empty lot on a Saturday as any restaurant where I live (in the Providence area) with vegan options would be full on the weekends.
There were plenty of tables to sit at and the set up was such where you had to first order and pay at the counter and then they bring the food out to your table. There was a little of a wait to place our order, but the gentleman who took our order (who I believe may have also been the owner) was very kind and apologized for the wait.
We had ordered the Gobi Manchurian and a vegan version of the quesadilla (with tofu scramble). The Gobi Manchurian came out first and it exceeded expectations ! It was packed with flavor and every bite was absolutely delicious. I don't usually care too much for onions and peppers in my dishes, but even the onions and peppers were perfectly sautéed and seasoned in addition to the cauliflower. It was just perfect! 10/10!! Would 100% get it every single time
I go there now!
I was also pleasantly surprised by the quesadilla. You can tell the chef is the real deal here because he is able to mix all of the ingredients and flavors in the tofu scramble and in the quesadilla so well. The salsa that came with the quesadillas was also delicious.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Neil B.New York, NY64111892875Jun 1, 2023
You don't need to be a vegetarian or vegan to love this restaurant! The food here is absolutely 5 star quality on any scale and the owner/server/chef is friendly and very talented.
The menu is internationally inspired. We began with Gobi (cauliflower) Manchurian, a spectacular dish with a spicy complex sauce bursting with flavors. I then had the Sesame & Cilantro Rice Vermicelli Salad while my dining companions dined on the Yucca Quesadilla and the Butternut Squash Lasagne. Everyone marveled at how fresh and flavorful their entrees tasted.
The portions at Green Leaf are very generous and we all ended up bringing home leftovers. The restaurant is informal (disposable (recyclable?) plates and utensils), spacious, clean and tables are nicely spread out. Prices are also quite fair.
Thank you Green Leaf for a memorable dining experience!Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Sherlee A.Nashua, NH02Mar 28, 2024

My friend was a vegetarian so I picked this place to meet up with him for lunch. It wasn't crowded and the food came out at a good clip. Interior was comfortable enough, colors were soothing, looks better on the inside than outside. We both decided it was a place we could see going back to. We shared the falafel and gobi Manchurian appetizers. They are honestly lunch size portions. 8 Falafel served on lettuce with a sauce on the side. They were good. I found the Gobi Manchurian (cauliflower) really tasty, and what I took home didn't last the afternoon. We both got the Tofu Ruben. It was worth trying and interesting, but I'd try something else next time. Got the salad for a side (comes with it), it was a nice and good size mixed lettuce and spinach salad with assorted veg on top. The decaf Coffee was also worth drinking.
You put this place in a busy location with a nice exterior and it would be much more popular !Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Ashish G.Allston, MA164534Jul 23, 2023
Fantastic food! We were extremely impressed by the food here. And that's despite them being so short-staffed when we came here that a single person (Balaji) was cooking and serving.
This place blew life alive ( my next best vegan /vegetarian place in MA) out of the water.
Every single thing we ordered was delicious : the vermicelli salad, gobi Manchurian , grilled eggplant Parm, etc. Easily the best vegan/vegetarian place I've been too. ( And the whole group of 5 agrees!)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0
