Green Dog Spa

Finally brought our youngest Shoyo to get a bubble bath and nail trim at Green Dog Spa located at 11048-7 Baymeadows Road.

The process was easy as we called in a few days before the appointment as Heidi made sure it was confirmed and ready to go last Thursday, July 28 as we dropped our boy off at exactly 1PM.

They usually allow at least 4 hours. We got the call at around 430 PM and picked him up, we were very happy to see our boy looking so clean and smells so good, that it did smell like cotton candy lol

Thank you Aki, Deanna and the rest of the Squad for teaming up and giving our boy a great experience here at Green Dog Spa, next time he will have his Full-Body Haircut for the next summer as he insists that it is not long yet.

P.S GDS also has a Mobile Grooming based on the appointment-definitely a furry good idea for those of us who work from home during the weekdays.

I scheduled an appointment to have my Zoey's nails trimmed by Lucy and Lucy didn't have the curtesy or good costumer service to CALL me ahead of time to let me know her shoulder wasn't feeling well so I made a wasted trip to the spa. I also witnessed a groomer leave a small dog on the table unattended, VERY DANGEROUS!! I DO NOT recommend this place!!!!! P.S. Erica (who is the owner) didn't take the issue of the unattended dog on the table serious at all. I'll NEVER go back there!!

Unfortunately today I encountered an awful experience at Green Dog. I always make sure to let them know to never shave my labradoodle upon drop off. When I dropped him off, I told them everything I wanted and how short of a cut I wanted (one inch). After about 15 mins of dropping him off, I get a call from Green Dog telling me that they found a "few tangles" and might need to go a little bit shorter than an inch. I completely understood but also thought that a little more than an inch would not make a huge difference as my dog is always fluffy. When I came to pick him up he was shaved completely. You can see on the back of his legs how much was shaven off and the poor work that was done. Im also not sure why his tail was kept so long and fluffy but the rest of his body was shaved? I no longer feel comfortable taking my dog here.

I have a Bernedoodle & brought him for the first time today. A previous salon shaved him once & he was very upset, so I like to mention it before he goes to any new salons. They said no problem we'll keep him as long as we can & definitely keep his head hair longer. I come in to get him and he's completely shaved and head is as short as it can go as well. I just wish they would of at least called before they did it knowing my concerns.

On a positive note - booking the appointment was easy and the front desk ladies are very nice.

We have been taking our fur babies here over the past couple years. Everyone who works here seems very friendly. My only complaint is that I usually book the first and earliest appt to try and get them out asap and still have to wait until 2/3pm to get a call saying they are done. They do a great job on the cuts though!

They are wonderful, seem to care about the babies. I have never had a dog that had to be groomed, so I was very pleased with the Green Dog Spa. Highly recommend them

This place is amazing!! This was my first time here and when I initially walked in, I was struck by how warm and cozy it felt compared to the impersonal, fluorescent lights feel of the big box pet stores that have grooming services.

Green Dog Spa feels like one of those upscale boutiques with all the thoughtful touches, the personal pictures and beautiful decorations.

I love that I can watch them work on my pup the whole time through these big open picture windows and because the wall is open, my pup can also hear my voice and I can talk to the groomer about my preferences.

I found the groomers to be kind and caring. They were patient and gentle with her and took their time when it was an area she didn't like to get done. It was so sweet to see my dog giving them kisses:)

I would definitely recommend giving these guys a try!

I'm just so much more relaxed knowing she's in good hands and I got to run out to enjoy a yummy lunch while was getting a bath! Win-win!

Just moved to Jacksonville so was very nervous to find a groomer that does a good job for my fur babies as their regular groomers. Green dog staff was very professional and friendly my dogs are not used to this FL heat so I asked for Asian fusion haircuts for face and shaved bodies, my mini schnauzer looks handsome and my Maltese face is not as round as I'd like, but they seem very caring towards my fur babies and that's what's most important

Green Dog Spa is a great grooming salon! The staff are friendly and do a wonderful job bathing and grooming my dogs. They follow my instructions and provide expert guidance when I have questions.

AMAZING!!!! Our first time here and they fit us in right away. We did the express full grooming for our sweet girl. They did a fantastic job! Groomed her just as we asked, trimmed her nails, cleaned her ears and sent us off with a new client goody bag too! I recommend Green Dog Spa Thank You to the entire staff from the front office girl making the appointments over the phone, to Melissa who groomed our girl to the entire establishment! We will be back next with our senior sweet heart soon. Again we THANK YOU
