I thought the pizza was actually quite solid (though it didn't get done all too quickly). The crust is pleasing and the washington square which is a white pizza with mushroom and artichoke, is delightful.

I'm only giving this place 4 stars and not 5 because I got my slices to go. There was a great selection of a packed veggie slice, tomato, meat-lover, etc., and I enjoyed my pizza slices, but ultimately I'm dying to go back and order myself a pie made to order. Once I got the slices home they weren't as crispy and magnificent as they would have been if I got them made to order or even just ate them immediately at the restaurant. So I'll be changing this review next time I go back in and bring my own wine and enjoy the garlic bread, my own pie, and some cannoli.

I can't wait to return. Good job, Giorgio!

I recently noticed Giorgio on one of the apps I use regularly for delivery. My go-to pizza spots are Kermit's and Santucci's, but I was in the mood for something different and gave Giorgio Pizza a try. It's worth noting that the prices at Giorgio are a lot lower than these other spots.

We ordered a sausage pizza and some arancini. Delivery was fast and the food was just the right temp. While the sausage on the pizza was average, I found the pizza overall to be pretty solid. The arancini was cooked nicely but it was sitting in sauce so the parts facing the sauce became soggy. I'd recommend serving the sauce separately for take-out or delivery.

I would definitely consider Giorgio again for fast pizza delivery when I'm not looking for anything extra fancy.

Great step up from the previous pizza place that was here! Food is prepared quickly and they make a mean cheesesteak. While I have only come here to grab sandwiches and fries on the go, I have taken note of how many people treat this casual pizza place as a BYO dinner spot. It's always hard to find cheaper places to get together for a girls night or a quick date, and from what I can see, many people are capitalizing on just that here!

      Two things I don't love:
      1. delivery doesn't take credit cards? This seemed strange to me..maybe I was misadvised, so if I was, please let me know. Like most American adults, I live and die by my debit card and rarely have cash.
      2. I miss the outdoor dining! There used to be the cutest little courtyard here..where did it go?!

That's all. Oh, also..the wings are pretty good. Try them.

I'll start with the good. The pizza was fantastic. I'm used to going to square pie in queen village but figured I'd mix it up a bit. I got the Classico and was very satisfied with that. You can also order from the menu next door so good way to get pasta and such if you're not as concerned about ambiance.

Now for the bad. The service was awful,
and the restaurant was only half full. We waited forever to get water and wine glasses. Waited awhile to put our order in. And then after our food came, didn't see our server again until it was time for the check. And I could've used a refill on my water at least. I'm not a difficult customer but a 'hey do you need anything?' would be great.

Best Center City BYOB hands down!!! Always a great meal here. Price is on point and the portions are more than generous. Food never disappoints and Giorgio is always making sure you are more than satisfied. Would recommend to all family and friends!

Had to try this place because I love Giorgio on Pine so much, and wanted to see what Giorgio had up his sleeve in the pizza department. Was not disappointed!

Simple, stylish decor, but very relaxed with comfortable booths and tables and reminiscent of your favorite hometown pizza parlor; it all feels very familiar. BYOB, which is always a plus.

They started us with complementary garlic bread, which was delicious, especially with our beer. We looked over the menu for a while, and were tempted to order their salads and sandwiches (and will be back for those!), but settled on what we came for-- the pizza. Ordered two 10" pizzas and split them (Classico and Washington Square), and both were absolutely perfect-- great dough, great ingredients, and hot out of the oven. It is so hard to find a great pizza place in Center City-- so glad we stopped in, definitely a new favorite!

P.S. I hear they are going to start delivery in the upcoming weeks (eek!), but perimeter TBD.

A pretty good pie and they actually heeded my request of "light cheese well done".
      They do not deliver.

I'm actually pretty surprised by the high reviews as this place was disappointingly decent. Pizza was eh and service was eh.
I ordered a washington square west pizza (added meatballs). Just okay. Nothing exciting or memorable. Not very flavorful (don't be fooled by the "truffle" mushrooms). The crust was subpar - not crispy enough. I literally don't even remember it enough to write more.
This is the quintessential place to get a slice when you don't care and have no time. (Sorry but true).
They are BYO and have nice decor and seating though.
Also the service is meh. I called my order in no problem and was told 25 min. Arrived at the 20 min mark and only then did they start to make my pizza. Seriously? When I asked, they said they had oven troubles. Fine. I said I would be back then. Waitress said it would take 10 min, recited my number to me, and said she would call me. I came back 15 min later and the pizza was ready, sitting on top of the oven. Thanks for NOT calling me. In total, the pizza took 40 min from call time to in my hands.
Prices are okay...I did get a pricey pizza with $3 meatball = $21, but for that price I may as well get a heavenly truffle pizza at birra or a fancy pizza at nomad roman.
I will likely never return. Not with all the better options nearby (even if they are pricier).

Washington square west pizza (artichoke, ricotta, "truffle" mushrooms, parsley, and added meatballs). Was just okay.

When my reservation for the actual sit-down Giorgio was somehow lost by the restaurant, the host seated my party of 3 in the Giorgio pizzeria which is a few doors down. We were told we could not order from the main menu because they were under-staffed. This was a Saturday night at 7pm. We were given water. Someone finally took our food order after about 20 minutes. Our food didn't get to us until we were seated for over an hour. They refilled our water one time. They said they would bring us some bread but they didn't bring it until the rest of the food arrived. So we sat there, NOT eating, staring at empty water glasses, for an hour. The long-awaited food was mediocre. Why do people like this place so much??
