Love this place and the people there. My Granddaughter was always wanting us to drive by horses so she could see them. We decided to get her lessons and see where that would take her. Erica and Stacy work well with her, she's shy and has anxiety. This is bringing her out of that shell.

My 5 yr old daughter just started lessons here and she loves it. I love that she is able to interact with the horse before and after her lesson as well. Erica has been very attentive to my daughter, she is learning well and she is always excited to go to her next lesson.

Rushton Stables is the best! I've ridden with Gerry, Stacy, and Erica for about 10 years, showing and riding more casually when school and work got in the way. They are all excellent instructors and go above and beyond for every rider. While I definitely improved as a rider with them, I also believe I grew immensely outside of the ring because of the lessons they taught me and work ethic they instilled in me. The facilities are beautiful and well maintained, and the horses are wonderful. This is a great place for anyone who is looking for a place to ride, whether you are brand new and just want to take lessons or more experienced and looking to get back in the show ring!

I love Rushton Stables. My daughter has been riding with Stacy, Gerry and Erica for 7 1/2 years...
Riding has been her passion but she has learned so much more than that through her time at Rushton. She has learned compassion, hard work, dedication, determination, caring for an animal, trust and community that spans all ages. From my daughter's first lesson to winning a world championship last year, they have supported her journey every step of the way! I would consider myself to be the ULTIMATE connoisseur of riding stables, I may only be 23 but I've ridden regularly for the last 16 years and have competed at a world & national level in my chosen breed; Saddlebreds. Over the years, I've ridden with so many different instructors I can't even count, but if I had to ballpark it probably at least 15-16. I know what a good barn should offer and what you DON'T want.

We just sold my last Saddlebred until I can pay for one myself (something I won't be able to do for awhile) so after taking 6 months off due to health reasons and grieving the absence of my beloved Saddlebred,I decided to call up Stacy Hennessy at Gerry Rushton Stables to book a lesson on one of their Morgans. Morgans, Saddlebreds, Arabians, and Half-Arabs (the other half is Saddlebred) are all ridden Saddleseat. As Morgans are similar to Saddlebreds and I was disappointed by the lack of high-quality Saddlebreds in my area, I moved inland since Gerry hauled my horse all over the West Coast for shows and I've seen their wonderful Morgans in action.

When it comes to a riding lesson, I am EXTREMELY picky as I've had more than my share of lessons with phenomenal trainers of Saddlebreds, Quarter Horses, and now Morgans. Stacy & Gerry have VERY impressive resumes when it comes to Morgans and after my first lesson with them, I knew I had to come back as much as I could. I've worked more with Stacy so far, but had Gerry chime in today. Both of them know not only what they're talking about, but also how to explain it to the rider in a way that they can understand. This is a RARE combination and I am more than happy to drive over an hour each way to ride with them.

The barn is beautiful and the horses are turned out to perfection. Nice big ring with a great viewing deck on the east side. I even get to hang around and watch for awhile, which is great since I'm a barn rat who will never outgrow her horsey fix. Lessons are very affordable, way less than what I pay in LA. I saw Stacy work with a beginner rider today and she does just as good of a job with them. An excellent find for me!

Super great riding facility for beginners and experienced riders! The lesson horses are all super cute and friendly (I've ridden both Belle and Henry, both Morgan horses). Theres a ton of horses in the stalls to look at before and after your lesson. Both instructors are very knowledgable, patient, and professional! I would definitely recommend!!!

The moment you walk into the barn you're already having fun. You get to watch horses on their way in and out as the trainers work with them, constantly moving, and when it's time for your lesson you're matched with one of their fantastic, show-quality horses. They put their full attention into your ride where you get to use their gorgeous outdoor arena and breathe the fresh air the whole time. Such a blast and always a positive experience.

Excellent facility for riding lessons and training! Very personal touch. As adult students of different levels, my husband and I are both experiencing a very positive learning environment.
