Caribou Coffee

I witnessed the manager, Lena, at Caribou (in lukens north) yelling at one of her employees while she was just standing there doing nothing. The whole time this younger girl was making my drink Lena was making passive aggressive comments. The younger girl was obviously upset and I can't imagine she did anything wrong. I've worked many service jobs and seeing power hungry managers mistreating young employees is still upsetting. Lena seems like she's not ready to be in a management position. She also just sat there and watched the other girl, who was still emotional, do all of the work. Disappointed and dissatisfied. I hope the young barista quits and goes somewhere were she feels appreciated.

So slow! Sat in the drive thru for 30 mins.....no idea what they were doing in there. People ahead of us had 1 drink a piece - parking lot was empty...lots of people behind the counter. Glad we don't live here - never again will we stop!

I asked for a medium Cappuccino with an extra shot of creamer, and sugar. What I first got was was about a 1/4 of the cup of liquid and the rest is foam, the cup felt empty, when I said the cup is empty, she goes "So". I said to remake it they poured black coffee in a cup and sent that out. This is the most horrible experience I've had with caribou in Bemidji Mn. I'm going back to Starbucks. Because caribou coffee has progressively gotten worse here. Now wonder Starbucks now has 2 locations here, and even The new Duncan's Donuts here has better coffee. I'm done with this caribou.

This caribou is slower than slow! It's like the caribou lost all of its legs and is rolling up a hill. I would say how the drinks are, but I still haven't gotten mine after half an hour!

I was just in and decided to try a new drink. I paid and I tipped a dollar. I took one drink of it and realized it tasted like robitussin. I went back thru and told the barista and get response I get is that pomegranate acai just kinda tastes like that but that she made it correctly so it was not her responsibility or policy to make something else for me. Nowhere else in town would have ever responded that way. As a barista myself, I would have done anything I could to remedy the situation for the person. AWFUL SERVICE!!!!!

Get my order wrong every single time. Very annoying. Will not be going there again.
I always ask for light ice with my drink and I always get a large. They continuously give me almost a full cup of ice. I don't want to make the workers feel bad so I don't make them re do it but it always makes me so unhappy. Since I'm in quarantine it's one of the only things I look forward to during the day and it gets ruined :(

Customer service is ok. Two days in a row they did not have a food item. Drive thru line is a long wait. The drive thru is littered with cigarette butts where you place your order.

Stopped by for coffee...no pourover selection available. Bought medium hot coffee of the day.. Smelled charrred...burnt...smoked as if the machine has never been cleaned of sludge... I placed it in the garbage. I returned and bought a medium iced coffee.. No luck....that too was undrinkably burnt. Im really sad now...

I give a rare 5 stars for this place. (Edit. Thought it through a bit more and chged back to 4 stars - more fair). Not because of the quality of the food but because of the lovely service. I ordered a flat white which the guys did not know how to make but allowed me to come behind the counter and make it myself! Best coffee I had all week!

Very friendly staff and I enjoyed spending an hour there waiting for my plane's departure. Just a mile from the airport.

Great coffee shop to stop in and grab a quick breakfast or lunch and some really great coffee.
Plenty of room for a comfortable conversation or study and work time.
