Forever Permanent Make Up

I had my eyebrows tattooed at this business thinking it was semi permanent ink but 3 1/2 years I still have a badly done eyebrow and I cannot redo them because she used permanent bluish/black ink. Just like the review given by Christine L in 2018, I experienced the same unevenly shaped and color. Now I also have to spend money to have them erased.

I have mature skin and procrastinated & researched for many years about permanent makeup. Approximately, 5 years ago, I had the opportunity to meet Camilla when my friend, who had an apmt at Forever Permanent Makeup/Camilla, invited me to accompany her and see the actual procedure. I was impressed by Camilla's professional knowledge & recommendations that I asked if she had time, would she do my brows which were thinning. Truth is, fear of pain, was the main reason I choose not to opt for permanent makeup. My initial thought was...why did I wait so long to have permanent brows?! It was virtually painless & I no longer needed to buy eyebrow color & a time saver...for me!

On 8/23/2022, my friend and I had our second brow maintenance & 4th visit to Camilla. Our face and eye orbital cavity differs and Camilla explained again that she creates brow shapes to match the bone structure rather than what's in fashion...for a more natural look. I'm so impressed by Camilla's knowledge and obvious love as a makeup artist that I wouldn't consider seeing another makeup artist other than Camilla! My friend and I did tell Camilla that she is not allowed to retire! Highly recommended!

I highly recommend this establishment. I received a lot of compliments after my first session. People ask me for the info all the time which makes me happy. Ms Camila has over 20 years of permanent make up and provides a pain free service. This was my 3rd time getting Eyebrows + Eyeliners done in my life. My first experience which happened 8years ago was great and then few month ago I realized that color is getting thinner so I decided to get it re-done. I went to a place in Orange County , ended up messing it up so bad. Not to mention of unevenness of length eyeliners, but the angle at edge was downward it was just horrible I didn't even go back to get it re-touch. Then, I was searching for a place that has been long enough I can fully trust with good reviews because I couldn't afford second failure. Few weeks after , I found this place and got a consultation with Ms Camila. She explained to me thoroughly about her plans to fix all the mess which led me to start a procedure with her. Im so glad that I found a right place and a right person!!! Eyeliners and Eyebrows came out so beautiful I absolutely love it. Don't hesitate to contact her if you are interested in getting Brow or Eyeliners done. Don't waste your time to go those new establishments and get screwed over like me.

She made my right and left eyebrows in totally different shape. When I complained, she said she can erase easily when I come back for retouch. But, when I went for retouch, she said she won't do retouching if I complain about two different shape. She said they have to be different because my right and left face doesn't look same. What a excuse for her lack of skill.
I had to spend more money and time for erasing them for her mistake that she doesn't even admit it.

It's been some time since I had the permanent eyeliner done here and I am stuck with uneven, thick permanent liners that have turned blue at this point. She wanted me to return for touch up initially , but I was beyond disappointed in the way they turned out so why would I go back. I had asked for very thin, natural looking eyeliner, but I ended up with an unnatural overly made-up look, not what I was looking for.

Parking: Street parking is metered parking on New Hampshire. There is also a parking structure; the parking entrance in on New Hampshire. Do not park on Wilshire after 4 PM. You will get towed.

Appointment for Permanent Eyebrows: Call Camilla ahead for an appointment.

Service: Camilla is licensed, permanent make-up artist. She uses new needles on every patient. Of course this is a given, but I asked to make sure. Throughout the procedure, Camilla looked at my face up close and from afar to ensure my brow shape matched my bone structure and face shape. She continually consulted with me on the shape and the shade of the color. The completed look opened up my eyes, giving me a modern, fresh look that I was really satisfied with. Thank you, Camilla!

10 days ago I came in for retouch eyebrows, eye liners and lips. A few month ago I had a surgery which corrected my aged and sagging upper eyelids. The surgery was success but It resulted I needed Camilla's talent to redefine eye liners.
Once again, I really appreciated the time Camila spent to make sure I got the result. I truly believe 5 stars don't justify Camilla's talent in her profession. Thank you Camilla you are the best!!!

Camilla is beyond amazing and talented! I was super nervous because I had my eyeliner top and bottom already done by a woman in Hermosa Beach and had an awful experience and it was incomplete. This experience with Camilla couldn't have been more perfect! I am still smiling from ear to ear.
She is super gentle and professional. She kept applying numbing cream over and over again which made this procedure painless! This extra detail made all the difference in the world and I cannot stress enough how gentle she is! My eyes were not even swollen after the procedure just a little sore obviously where the tattooing was done. I'm getting a touch up next week and bringing my mom in to get her lips done. Highly recommend her, she truly is the best! Thank you Camilla!!

She is very nice. Organics color. I normally have sensitive skin but I have no problem. It has been less than a week. I will update my review later after eyeliner and full lip are completely heal. As of now I still have 1 more touch up to do.

2/13/2018 : Love my eyeliner. They look very natural. My lip didn't take color well. Probably have to come back for more touch up.

I have been going to Forever Makeup for over 10 years, the results have lasted for over 3 years at a time. Camilla uses a handheld tool to perfect your eyebrows and offers retouching in a month to make sure the results are to your satisfaction. Some people are afraid to have the ink turn a different color, but this is a very natural black or brown ink. My eyebrows have never turned green or grey, they simply start to fade after about 3-4 years and I go back for another visit. They also do not look fake at all, Camilla takes pride in making a natural look that fits your style. I was recommended by a friend and I would highly recommend to anyone else. I have gotten tons of compliments on my eyebrows and people are surprised when I tell them they are permanent makeup.

Tip: Park on New Hampshire for 2 hour parking, building entrance is on Wilshire. There is parking in front on Wilshire but not after 4pm and only for 1 hr (you will have to refill the meter).
