Hidden treasure on Jensen Beach!
Fernando's Dockside Grille offers a culinary journey that seamlessly blends fresh seafood with the vibrant flavors of Portugual and Mediterranean, and the warm and inviting atmosphere at Fernando's Dockside Grille adds to the overall charm of the dining experience. The result is a cultural and memorable dining experience.
When placing your drink order, do not pass on the Sangria. The Sangria at Fernando's Dockside Grille is nothing short of exceptional. The refreshing and fruity notes perfectly complement the tropical heat of Port Saint Lucie, making it an ideal beverage to savor with the flavor of the food.
The Shrimp Mozambique, a highlight of the menu, showcases Chef Fernando Dovale's culinary expertise. The dish is a delightful fusion of flavors, with perfectly cooked shrimp bathed in a zesty Mozambique sauce consisting of saffron, garlic, and olive oil. The combination of spices and the freshness of the shrimp creates a harmonious taste that lingers on the palate.
In conclusion, Fernando's Dockside Grille has undoubtedly become a new favorite for me. The combination of delectable dishes, including the standout Sangria, Shrimp Mozambique, and an impressive array of fresh seafood, makes it a culinary destination worth revisiting. I highly recommend Fernando's to anyone seeking a great dining experience.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Jan 27, 2024
While staying in Port St. Lucie, we decided to try Fernando's & we weren't disappointed!
It was a warm evening with a cool breeze.
Our server was delightful & although we didn't have a reservation & the restaurant was very busy, he quickly found a nice table.
We started with a generous glass of wine & a delicious sangria.
Followed up with an entree of pork with little necks in a yummy sauce with roasted potatoes, etc. It was enough for two .. tons of pork, a dozen little necks in the shell & lots of potatoes, so I took the rest home. My friend had a chicken & shrimp, etc. entree which he really enjoyed. We kind of missed not having a vegetable, but our choices were wonderful.
Highly recommend Fernando's!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Arthur G.Cold Spring, NY06May 19, 2024
Food was good..not exceptional. Most disappointing was the description on the website that the restaurant was adjacent to water. I called asked to be seated outside near the water and was told that would not be a problem.
When I arrived at the restaurant I could not find any water. I looked all over and finally started walking around and went about 15 feet from our outdoor table and looked over 6 ft bushes and saw water.
No way you could see water while dining.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Sep 10, 2023
Went for the 1st time w friends. Pretty place, nicely done, comfortable and speciaI. I ordered the sea bass, nicely cooked, covered in a
Vidalia onion tomato light sauce. the veggies side it came with was a nice medley of green beans and squash. Two others each had diff salmon dishes and enjoyed. My husb got the branzino and didn't love it. The wines by the glass are reasonable and they give a nice pour. They start you with a warm bread basket. Service was friendly and efficient. It did take about an hour aft ordering to get our food.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Louis G.Plantation, FL17May 1, 2024
Unfriendly and rude staff. Overpriced, for what it is. Users way too much oil On many his dishes. Cheap table cloth for what they think is an upscale dining experience. Save your money and look for many other options.

Food was delicious!
Corkage fee was reasonable and the service was excellent.
We ate inside, but there are tables outside.
Restaurant is on the water, but there's no view of the water from any of the tables.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - Randy S.Port St. Lucie, FL15371Mar 29, 2024
At Fernando's with friends. This is a small family Portuguese, and Mediterranean restaurant. Tonight we started with a Caprese salad comprising of vine, ripe tomatoes with fresh mozzarella cheese with fire, roasted peppers at a pesto vinaigrette that was just delicious. I then had the pork with little necks, which was hot marinated tenderloin to pork and fried Yukon gold potatoes with little neck clams, and the savory sauce that was just yummy, my wife had the Seabass, which was also nice big piece of bass with potatoes and asparagus that she loved. if you haven't been here, I suggest you try it. It really is a great place.

Again, a disappointing experience. Three days before reservation, called to confirm availability of Mariscada, Portuguese seafood stew. "Yes, " was response. Arrived for 6:00 reservation last night and told not available because of lobster cost. Ordered octopus dinner but was told it was sold out. Restaurant only opened an hour earlier. Cannot rely on menu on website or on menu at restaurant. Settled for bronzino that was excellent. Very limited wine selection. Second time experienced unavailability of listed menu items. I'm done with this restaurant.
