Extreme Pizza - Fillmore District

We just moved from the Mission to Lower pac/Japantown and wanted to try out some pizza on our way back from Fitness SF in Fillmore!

Quick Google maps search and found this place that was a little hidden away. They have a good assortment of pizzas and I believe 4 different sizes which is awesome for sharing with groups or my partner. We got a 12" and it was enough for the both of us!

The Mont Blanc was delicious and we were not disappointed by the taste and how crispy it was! We also got a side of the "Extremely Twisted Sticks" which are essentially cheese filled breadsticks and while we loved the cheese inside, we did just think they were okay. Looking forward to trying the zipline knots next time!

4 stars because the pizza was so good in our opinion and they were super quick, good with recommendations and it's really good pricing compared to other places in the city!

This chain of pizza places are very consistently good across the board. I enjoyed my slice of cheese pizza . The location is pretty cool because it's between Japantown and Pacific Heights. Good taste.

My boyfriend and I love coming here for their delicious food (our favorites are their zipline pizza wheel & buffalo wings). They have good beers on draft as well for only $3 too! But the main reason that we are regulars here now is because of their awesome manager JR. He is very friendly, welcoming and creates a great atmosphere for this Extreme Pizza location. We really enjoy coming here to see JR and having a good meal.

We wish they were open later than 10pm. They have great deals on their app & a good rewards program but not many people know about this unless you take the time to download it.

There's a famous super snooty place up the hill from here. I've eaten there once and MAY do so again. But I eat at Extreme a couple times a month and enjoy my meals much more.

This location is tiny but has pleasant outdoor seating. I've never had to wait more than a few minutes to get my food. Staff are pleasant. It's no frills but it's pizza.

The chain has a clever menu. It's very veggie friendly.

I come back again and again and have done for years. The other place? Meh. Might as well go back to Extreme again.

First time customer and ordered half Ghost Wave and half Up the Creek.

Ghost Wave was fire and I'll definitely be ordering again. It was light and not heavy which is awesome.

The Up the Creek was good but not my favorite. A little too much garlic for me so I'll probably pass on this next time.

The only reason why I didn't give the full 5 stars is because online it said that they had a "Sweet Sunday" special but they told me they weren't doing that promotion anymore...I was looking forward to getting a slice of cheesecake I then asked if I could apply the 15% promo that was shown on their Instagram and the cashier couldn't it apply the promo....

Looking forward to trying more of their signature pizzas.

Ordered the Bunny Slope and was extremely satisfied with my pizza. The pine nuts with fresh arugula on top make it a must.

I really like the pizza the spot and the service I be getting pizzas week days and weekends but in the weekends the pizza doesn't come the usual that come in the weekdays

Had to wait awhile before we ordered- no big deal I'm patient.

When it was time to pay the man asked if we could use cash instead.. I thought that was weird because we were using a debit card & bought $76 worth of pizza.

Sorry boo, I keep my cash for other stuff.

Pizza - not my favorite AT ALL
Only ate 2 slices and I got a medium so I have a good amount left I may give to a homeless person
I created my own pizza by the way....so I was a bit disappointed

But 2 people that ordered after us got their food before us

Really did like the wings but I may not go back..

don't care for them asking you to pay in cash because I didn't hear them ask anybody else..it's 2021 so yeah

I went to the Fillmore location the first time and was instantly treated like a regular. The dining area is clean safe and comfortable. I've been back several times and tried many items on the menu and all of them have been excellent. They have great beers on tap and the pizzas come out quick. Service and food are consistently good and I make it a point to go back at least every week. There are lots of restaurants in the city but very few neighborhood spots that make folks so welcome. If you are reading reviews to find a place that is comfortable this is your spot.

Extreme Pizza was great!!! I placed an order for 7-9 large pizzas to be delivered to a local park for a kid birthday party. The store manager was super helpful, including texting with me to confirm details etc while she wasn't even working! The customer service was great. And the pizza was great too!
