I refuse to rent a U Haul at any other location anymore.Every single time I come in to this location I'm greeted very friendly , the vehicles are in good shape, the process is smooth and the employees are excellent.I'm a return customer and will stay true to this location. Great experience again!

Anywhere you these days you see people you wouldn't leave alone in your home. This place has a security feature that only your personal pin will disable otherwise if your unit is opend without said pin a silent alarm is trigger. An let me tell you I've been witness they to the guy into custody an fast! I was on my out at the time an the cruzers were parked in a formation that completely blocked the exit it was definitely it was something to see.

I made a reservation for a 10' truck online and selected Everett Secure Self Storage as my pickup location. I arrived there at 12:30 PM for the pickup, and seated at the counter was a woman of the name Stacy.

I explained to Stacy that I had a reservation and would like to pickup my truck. She asked for my name, which I gave to her. She then said in a short tone that I had to self-check-in and that my truck has been ready since 11am. I attempted to do so on my phone, though the website gave me no option. It only showed me my reservation after I clicked the start button from the email. I told her I was unable to do so, and she made a call to someone, then told me to make sure my GPS was on. I told it was and it was not working. So she manually checked me in with great reluctancy.

Upon request I gave her my Florida issued driver license and she requested a WA driver license, I told her I did not have one. She then said that I need a job or local reference. I was surprised, as I have never had issues with renting a U-Haul with my driver license in California.

I gave her my employers name, supervisor, address and phone number as requested. She then proceeded to call and verify my employment. When nobody answered the call, she left a message. She then asked me for another contact phone number. I told her I did not have one. She then proceeded to finish the check-in.

Next she asked me to sign the paper for the truck waiver, and I replied "don't we need to walk around the truck". She told me I could do it myself, which I did and notated the various damage on the truck.

The final paper she had me sign was the contract which stated a 9am return time. I told her I had booked a 24 hour rental and that 9am was too short. She said, "well we have another rental booked at 9". I told her my confirmation said 24hr. In the end I signed the paper, and notated a later pickup time. She told me the keys were in the truck and I would have known, if I had finished the online check in as it was notated there. I thanked her and left.

On the drive home I called the local, corporate U-Haul rental location and spoke to them about driver license requirements. The woman there said all I needed was valid license from any state or even Canada. So this leaves me confused.

This accounting of todays U-Haul pickup is hands down my worst experience with U-Haul. I have rented trucks and trailers from corporate locations and neighborhood branches. I have NEVER encountered so much frustration and lack of empathy from an employee/contractor.

Stacy was unpleasant to be serviced by, and provided me with inaccurate information, and requested information of me which seems invasive. I will rent from U-Haul in the future, but I will NEVER pickup from Everett Secure Self Storage not consider them for any storage needs.

Stacy is great! She explains everything very clearly, she also helped with measurements and explaining the things that would fit in my selected unit. It's incredibly clean and secure.

The police use the building as a training facility after 11pm. Thus the strict rules on times.

Cherie Cherie Cherie. What can I say? I only met your earlier this week and I feel as though I've known you for three years. The customer service you provided was excellent. The conversation and support about my items being secured was beyond comforting. It made me feel super safe. The easy u haul agreements you helped me out with was seamless. We lucked out finding this place. Especially with our terrible experience we had with the other storage and U-Haul places we had in the area. You really did customer service natural and to the point. It was such a great experience. This location provides everything compared to those other places. It's near a few intersections that don't get too busy. This a pricelss Amenity to have. Thanks again. Cheri was absolutely wonderful. She made the whole process easy for storage. Storage unit is clean and very secured. I highly recommend this place for easy mind and know your stuff is secured. Thanks Cheri! You are wonderful and appreciate everything you've done.

The quality of the units is great, they are nice and clean and I'm impressed that when I go to my unit there is no dust on anything. However, the people who work here are terrible at their jobs or just really dumb.

I am traveling over seas which is why most my belongings are in storage. I received a email from my bank that my credit card information had been stolen. I recall from setting up that they wanted me to actually fill out a paper form for my automatic payments. So I emailed them asking if they could email me the form, I would then print it, and sign it like they want and mail it back. Seemed easy enough. The response I received was that they couldn't do that and that I had to actually go to the office to fill out the form and update my automatic payment information, or call every month and make a payment over the phone.

After going back and forth on this, and trying to explain how bad this policy is and that having a stack of peoples credit card numbers on paper in a file cabinet does not make my information safer like they seem to think it does, she eventually let it slip in one of her responses that I could pay online. When I asked why she didn't offer this in the first place, she didn't respond but did sent the link.

Guess what? Not only is it possible to pay online, it is also possible to enroll in automatic payments through the link she sent me. My guess is they have to pay a fee and don't want people to use that method as it cost them a buck or two, or That is why I say they are either bad and there jobs or just dumb. Either way, for me it means a negative review on yelp and when I'm back in the states I'll be switching to another storage facility. We have plenty of other options in the area some of which cost less each month.

Rude woman at the desk. I understand that some places won't have vehicles ready on hand and that a reservation is best but she made me feel stupid about it. Look it's fine if you don't have anything available but don't treat people like their stupid for doing a walk in request. No is no I understand. It was absolutely uncalled for how her eyes became annoyed and her tone seemed exhausted with me just by a simple question of "do you have any trucks?" Take better care of your company by treating potential customers better.

Amazing facilities and great staff! This was my first time renting storage space and Stacy made things super easy. I day after I moved up from Oregon, Stacy took me around and showed me the different size options available to me. While touring around the buildings, I was impressed at how clean and secure the grounds looked. I ended up going with a larger unit than I originally planned on and Stacy was amazing at getting everything set up. She went over all the paperwork with me and was very clear in answering all my questions. I was able to store my belongings the same day and was out of there in 90 minutes. A big plus was being able to leave my 10' Uhaul truck there! I was going to take it farther north, but Stacy was able to talk to the Uhaul reps and have them change my drop off location to the Self Storage address. Great place! Will definitely recommend to others in the future.
