I drive 35 minutes just to come here and seek Rona Dexler's guidance amd advice.

I've come for a project home and my own, and keep coming to her. She's naturally gifted and has talent with colors in a way noone else has. If you don't belive me go and talk to her you'll be suprised!!! I'd pay hundreds of dollars for her advice and you get it free. Sounds to good to be true huh!?

We have been Dunn Edwards customers for a while but used them mainly for interior colors. This year we decided to do our exterior and we are so glad we went with Dunn Edwards, again.

Our color adviser at Nordhoff, Rona, was amazing. Her knowledge was only surpassed by her willingness to help. She was genuinely interested in helping us and in making sure our needs were met. Rona was extremely helpful with her suggestions and candid feedback. Thanks to her, our color combinations came out gorgeous. The color scheme she recommended gets praise from our neighbors and visitors to the house.

Oh, and Rona's consultation was free of charge. Good luck beating that :)

Hello . We have been shopping at Dunn-Edwards for many years as we are design and construction consultants . Rona Dexler has been our color consultant for the last 5 years. We followed her from Woodland Hills all the way to Northridge because she is so fantastic. Her color selections are spot on and she is extremely helpful, patient and talented. We are having our house painted (after 20+ years--it needed it), and trying to select the right color was daunting. Our painter suggested we go to Dunn-Edwards Paints in Northridge to get some samples. We spoke to Rona, their professional color advisor, and she was extremely helpful. We explained the color scheme of our house and showed her the samples we had picked from the palette chips, and she knew we had picked colors that were too orange. She selected some colors we never would have thought would be the right tone, and they were perfect! We can hardly wait to see the finished product on our house! After purchasing about seven paint samples to find the perfect color of gray, I consulted free of charge, with Kathy their color specialist. She's off on Mondays by the way. She took the time, went to the colors, went through what I had that I loved and what I was looking for, and it looks like we found the perfect paint. She has an interior design background, and is very knowledgeable about what the trends are in decorating. Most of the staff is quite friendly.

My wife and I went to the Dunn Edwards Paint Store in Northridge to pick out paint colors for our newly remodeled kitchen and family room. We were having trouble deciding what combination of colors to use when their colorist, Ellen Knowles, who had heard our conversation with the salesperson, came over to us and introduced herself. Ellen was AMAZING to say the least. Her expertise with colors was right on. My wife was so relieved and grateful that we met her. She not only helped us pick out the right colors she also gave us an education on how to pick out color schemes. We would highly recommend her to anyone. Dunn Edwards is lucky to have her at their store.

The real secret to the paint world: Dunn Edwards color specialists. At Northridge store, Ellen is a color specialist who is a pleasure to work with, helps with all of my complicated color schemes in each room. Patient, kind, thought provoking; I'd walk in with a color in mind but then looking at colors next to each other was able to hone in on the right color for the room. Can't say enough nice things: just try them!

It's taken too long for me to write this because I've been mired down in a major home renovation project I was in over my head in. But I have to rave about Rona, at the Northridge Dunn Edwards store. She's the color specialist there and was the ray of sunshine I needed to get me get through a nightmare home renovation. I'm a first time home owner and took on painting the entire house (with no clue what to do) so I could spend my small renovation budget elsewhere. I spent countless hours at Lowes, Home Depot, Sherwin Williams, and others trying different paint samples because nothing looked the same on the walls as it did in the store. Rona helped me pick out exactly what I needed right away. I brought samples of my couch color and flooring. She showed me how the sample would look different under different color changes of light at different times of day. Then she helped pick out just the right tools, floor coverings, etc. I would need to complete the job. Plus if your contractor has an account at Dunn Edwards, they can get a discount. There's a reason that Dunn Edwards is the contractor's store. The paint is better quality than Lowes or Home Depot and with my contractor's discount it was cheaper and lasted longer. Much longer. It seems like 1 can of Dunn Edwards would cover as much as 2 cans of any other paint. In the end, I purchased at least 20 samples of paint before Rona was able to recommend just what I wanted in the first try. I wish I'd found her sooner! She even recommended this wonderful peel and reuse swatch paper you can paint and test the colors you want on the wall before buying. I found this to be more helpful then the poster board I was trying to swatch with on my own. Rona is my hero!

She helped us identify the colors for our home and our requests were so specific and unique! :)  She listened to our needs, understood what we were envisioning, and made appropriate suggestions. She even encouraged us to make the colors by mixing certain ones and voila! that's how we finalized our gorgeous colors.  Not only is Rona very knowledgable, but she was patient with our nuanced requests. We couldn't be happier with the way each of the rooms came out! Rona is your go-to person for all things color related!!
