Don't buy fixtures from them if you need them anytime soon and don't count on them communicating with you about delays.
We're building a house and needed light fixtures throughout. I ordered on June 26 with (double-checked) confirmation that I'd be able to pick everything up within two weeks.
Around three weeks (July 15) from our order, I emailed to ask about the shipment. No response.
On July 21, I emailed again because it was now delaying progress on our construction. Valerie said the shipment was delayed until July 27. It's now Aug. 1 and I haven't heard back.
As a side note, Dominion didn't have a couple of the items we had selected so I ordered them through Amazon. I had all of those items within 3 days. I'd prefer to use local businesses, but this was a mistake.
As a final note, the project manager on our construction warned me not to use Dominion for precisely this reason. Sorry, Eric.

A co-worker needed an old fashioned screw in fuse for her outdated panel. As a favor, I dropped by Dominion Electric Supply on Eisenhower Ave to see if by chance they had them. Dimitar - knew exactly what I was asking about and found some, but not the 15A needed.
Between he, and 2 others, I was on my way to helping my co-worker.
As they said, a picture was worth 1000 words. I was sent a picture of the fuse, and they went out of their way to do a will call for me at their Arlington location.
These 3 young men provider stellar customer service. I'm not sure I would have gotten this fantastic service elsewhere.
Thanks guys... Dominion will remain my first choice for electrical supplies.

We went to Dominion Electric Supply Company to purchase a light for our garage. The sales associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. We ordered a light that they did not have in stock. Plans changed and we canceled the order immediately. They promised to credit our charge and cancel the order. The order was canceled but they NEVER credited our charge card. We called and were assured a total of three more times. They did not attempt to credit our charge card. After, the third call they didn't return our calls either to solve this problem.

Thank goodness for Capital One charge company. We explained that this company was fraudulently keeping our money even though the order was canceled. They credited our account and is taking care of this problem with this company.

DO NOT spent money here. They are not honest.

Whenever I have a difficult electrical related part I need for home, this is the place. And since they opened this new location, as a little known secret, it is super convenient. Great service, incredible stock, easy to work with.
