CVS Pharmacy

Located next to the AMC movie theater in the Chula Vista Plaza. I usually go to this location even though I have a closer one near home because it has a large parking lot.

I wish it had a self checkout, but management opens more registers when a cue starts building up. I has a coinstar if you are looking to exchange coins for bills.

This store location will be shutting down on February 9, 2023 and relocating to 3rd and Jst. The store is not fully stocked with items for convenience shopping. Most people that come here is to pick up medication or pharmacy related errand. Wait times are terrible at this location for medication pick up with 2 registers and only 1 person in front of me. I can only hope their new location helps the staff be more efficient.

Doesn't it piss you off when you call (this case the Pharmacy) and they say, "can you you hold a second please" and then 18 minutes later you are still waiting and still on hold. I called regarding a new process with Sharp Medicare being able to pick up over the counter items and they couldn't answer so they refer me to the front counter and then they get me back to the Pharmacy where I'm still waiting. WTH!!!! People in Pharmacy or somebody needs to know this stuff!

I like this CVS. For some reason, they're cheaper than the others. Ramon, Jessica and Alice are great!

This so called "manager " is the only reason and negative point. She's rude and should be fired.

We came at 9:55pm to get one item and doors were locked. Employee saw us and wouldn't acknowledge us or open the door. If your business hours say till 10pm, you don't lock the doors till 10pm. Serve your community better.

I have been going here for at least 20 years.

We came to this CVS to pick up some snacks and drinks. I saw the Brookside dark chocolate goji and raspberry on sale. It was two for $7.00. I absolutely love eating these chocolate snacks.

I also picked up some drinks. They had the flavored teas on sale. It was two for $1.00, so I got four. I love coming to this location. They have lots of snacks, drinks, etc. There is so much to choose from here.

This location is clean and organized. The lines go fairly quickly cause I think I saw like 4 cashiers at the front. They don't have the self check outs here. Also make sure you have a CVS card. It saves you lots of money and you even get cash back on your receipt if you get enough points. Great reward system.

This review is for the one and only professional employee I had an encounter with. I believe her name was Ivanna. The first time I saw her she was a cashier and she was extremely friendly. She scanned my items so quick and she did it with a smile. I went there this past week on Tuesday and she worked pharmacy! She was so professional and whenever I see her she's always so incredible. She is so hardworking too! Her co workers on the other hand, kind of not professional. Not very good experiences to be honest. But Ivanna deserves to be employee of the month. In stressful situations she handles everything so professionally. I love going to this CVS specifically.

After watching movie, I realized that we ran out of bread. Since I feel lazy driving to the closest grocery store to buy some, I went to CVS to see if sell some bread. Stoked to see some but I decided not to buy any since most of their breads doesn't have best before dates and with molds all over yhe bread. Spoke with a staff about it and was appreciative, but I think they should always check their perishable goods in the store to make sure it's still good. CVS will always be my go to place for meds and other stuff but definitely not for food.
