Amazing experience with Hugo!

He has inspected two properties for me: one 14-unit multi-property and another a single-family residence. Hugo does an amazing job explaining issues found and gives experienced recommendations that will keep you out of trouble if you plan on renting out any properties. He also owns investment properties, and this is great as his advice comes with that experience. Great value!

His reports are detailed, and I love the post-inspection chats where he gives a summary of the overall condition of the property.

Hugo is truly the best! He not only did an extremely thorough job with the inspection, he was also friendly and explained the entire house in great detail to me and my wife. That is service and professionalism above and beyond anything we expected. You are in great hands with him.

Hugo walked us through a thorough, comprehensive inspection of our new property and identified modifications outside of current building code. He gave recommendations for repair and maintenance and helped us to identify issues that we wouldn't have caught on our own to make sure that we didn't run into any surprises after we bought the property. He is very personable and has a great attitude - I'd no doubt recommend him for any building inspection!

Hugo is an excellent building inspector. We were first time home buyers- so he took his time explaining everything we needed to know. he saved us from buying a disaster home. The second property he inspected (which became our home) was well inspected. He went through everything and got us the information we needed to obtain credits in this crazy market. We felt completely at ease with Hugo. He was straight forward, compassionate, and covid safety conscious. Hugo is who you want on your team when buying a home. Buying a home is scary enough- but when you hire hugo you are hiring a professional who is on your side. Hugo Lopez is the King of inspections, there's no other way to put it ! Unlike others in the business, he pulls out an amazing array of hi tech equipment (drones, infrared sensors, thermal imaging etc) that make him stand out among his peers. He's also extremely thorough (we'd laugh later thinking about all the problems Hugo would uncover if he had a chance to look at some other properties available for an open house). His reports are extremely detailed, prioritized and overall very helpful. Believe me, if there's an issue somewhere, Hugo will find it ! My highest recommendation !

We've hired Hugo for 3 inspections for pretty different buildings: two single-family homes and one commercial property. We were very satisfied with his work on each job. Hugo is extremely thorough and a great communicator. I'm the type who likes to understand everything and that's great because Hugo is the type who likes others to understand. Just tagging along with him, I've learned so much about structures and all their systems.

Hugo is also a gadget guy. He's got the right tool for each part of the inspection (electrical meters, infrared thermometers, and even a drone!)

Hugo creates easy-to-read reports quickly after the inspection and is available for any follow-up questions.

I've also found his prices are competitive and he is pretty flexible with appointments (which are last-minute of course).

Hugo at CSI just did a home inspection for us in the San Fernando Valley and even though the process can sometimes be a bit daunting to go through, we couldn't have come away happier with the experience--even with the list of repairs we now have, and that says everything about how Hugo presented his findings.
