Chippers Tree Service

We've used Chippers several times over the past 5 years to trim our parkway trees and remove old trees and shrubs damaged by severe winter weather. They always do a wonderful job! Recently, we had them remove several trees from our backyard in prep for an upcoming remodel. From start to finish, they were great to work with! Varo, their sales rep, talked thru the project with us in advance and gave us a great/fair quote. Roberto, the job foreman, was super. He and his crew were so respectful of our property, and our neighbors', and cleaned up our yard, back alley and even our pool after the work was complete. I don't hesitate to recommend them.

From start to finish chippers provided top notch service. We spoke to multiple tree service providers and Chippers was the most knowledgeable and straightforward with assessing our needs and the work they provided was high quality at a great price. I highly recommend and will work with them again!

Great communication and responsiveness. They did an awesome job removing one of our dead trees in the yard. They were very accommodating and great value, considering some other quotes we received.

Tree killers! Hired to trim two trees. A healthy 30+ year old pecan with a minor storm-damaged limb, and a healthy 20+ year old live oak that encroached on the alley. They removed WAY too much foliage! Check out the pics. I'd estimate over 50%. The oak is already turning brown, I don't expect it to live. I will only use a certified arborists from on. They cost more, but care about the health and longevity of your trees, unlike this crew.

I had a smaller tree in my back yard that I needed to have removed. They came out and evaluated the job and were there the next day to take down the tree and grind the stump.
This company did exactly what they said they would do, when they said they would do it. Great service experience!

Didn't hesitate to call Varo, the team leader who was instrumental in helping us selected various trees on our wooded property that needed skilled evaluation for cutting along with a crew that not only can do the job right, but most importantly protect themselves as well as your home In the cutting and hauling process.

This 2nd time however was a challenge extraordinaire...

We had a huge oak tree that the previous owners had allowed to grow right next to the house and whose branches went up at least 30 feet+ suspended over our roof.

But, that's not the story, it is only the beginning...

The previous owners had build a high quality pergola around the tree with an opening to accommodate this tree. An opening that I was having now to expand slowly from the roof top of my home to accommodate this beautiful, but dangerous tree over our newly renovated pergola - as well as our home.

With "Chippers" I should have known that my apprehensions and fears would be laid to rest and quickly! The crew, (which I might add was nearly totally different), did the same amazing hardwork swiftly, professionally, and safely for all concerned.

I really don't know what more I can say about this company, but from the moment you are in touch with the front office owners to the next moment dealing with your crew leader (and arborist) in our case Varo, to the crew themselves you will experience kind, courteous, caring service.

And, did I mention this company will be upfront in showing you that their men have workman's compensation to protect them from injury liabilities on your property? Other companies we had called at first will not mention such issues and when asked point blank will reply "all you need to do is sign a waiver".

Lastly, their pricing is more than fair for the dedication to service and immaculate clean-up the crews will preform.

Again, this is one of the best companies we have had the pleasure to do business with in D/FW. You simply can't go wrong here, they define professionalism, honesty and genuine caring for the challenge that awaits them.

We will be calling on them again you can count on it!

Chipper's were cutting a neighbors tree down. I was impressed by how quickly the work was done. I asked for a quote to have a neighbors dying tree cut back as the limbs kept falling on my home. He gave me a quote and was pre pared to start. My neighbor came over to inquire what we were doing to his tree. As it ended up that tree was also cut down as I was paying 1/2 the cost. Yea! My neighbor across the street had them trim 2 of their trees. Then 1 more neighbors scheduled to have 1 tree down and 2 more cut back. It was all because of the excellent work and clean up at a fair price. They now also do all my Son's tree service. They always go above expectations and are on time. Best tree service EVER!!!!

We had a tree that needed to be removed because the original owner planted it way too close to the house. We found Chipper's based on Yelp reviews and BBB information. Varo came by right away to give us an estimate and let us know when he'd be available to complete the job. He came out at the time promised and was respectful of our property throughout. He did a great job and for less than the other estimates we received. Highly recommend.

I cannot rave ENOUGH about Chippers Tree Service! They offered competitive quotes (about half what others were offering) and did their job very well and all in one day. From the time I first spoke to them they were able to come out about a week later and were on time and on point.

Chippers removed two huge red oaks, one holly, one crape myrtle, and trimmed our remaining red oak, and ground all the stumps of the removed trees for a very competitive price.

Those trees had been on the property for 40 years and were right next to the house causing foundation issues, so I'm not kidding when I say the whole neighborhood was watching and asking me for their number. Literally TODAY the house two houses down from me is getting their tree removed using Chippers and they are just as efficient and friendly as they were with me.

By far the best part about Chippers is that they, well, chip! They cut up the trees into manageable parts and chip them on site and haul away all debris for FREE. Other quotes from other companies were going to charge me $200 to haul away the lumber. Other services cut up your trees and leave them on your sidewalk for the debris to be taken away on bulk trash day at the beginning of the month, but there is nothing worse than creating an eyesore and an obstacle for the neighborhood for a couple weeks. No one wants to be that guy!
