Ana is so caring, helpful and knowledgable! I've never had someone be so on top of a hair problem I had, then go out of her way to personally call me, talk me through how she would fix it, what I need to look out for next time, etc. She's the kind of stylist and owner you want to do business with. 15/10 would come back to her!!

Ana is great. She cut my hair in a pixie cut and it looks like I went to someone on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
I haven't had this good of a cut in a long time! I will go back and am looking forward to her ideas for my hair.

If I could give less than 1 star I would, I tried to give Ana with Candibird a chance after seeing good reviews but my experience was AWFUL. Maybe it's my pregnancy hormones but leaving the salon I cried, I was so excited and had been waiting for this appointment.

On the day of our original appointment she told me she had to reschedule and that she would throw in $100 off product to make it right, I told her no worries and she said she could get me in the next day. I cancelled my saturday plans, and I arrived to the salon to find it locked up. I texted her and she said she was on her way but was late, I waited and said it was all good but once inside I noticed the salon was a mess not the typical salon quality I am used to but I was willing to look past it as she shared they were under construction. We get to talking about my hair and I was very clear on my vagaro request what I was looking for, partial highlights at a diagonal weave, no toner and a cut. I have been having my hair done like this for 10 years and showed her how it always turns out. She shared she won't do my hair without a full base lift and that the price which was quoted on Vagaro for $190 was going to be $350 and she wouldn't take off teh $100 from product to put towards hair. I shared that the cost was too hight and that I am fine being a dirty blonde and lets just do partial highlights and a cut, no base lift to get closer to the original quoted price. She said she wouldn't do what I was asking for and that if I didn't like her price I could leave. So I left. I understand that I was one month past due getting partial highlights so I would have understood a price increase to say $250 for extra foils but no, it was an 84% price increase! I just moved here from the Bay Area and Orange County before that where I went to incredible salons but never had a bait and switch in pricing like this before. Truly the worst customer experience I have ever had.

I am from out of town and I was looking for the best rated hair salon in Sacramento and found this place ! Ana did not disappoint, she delivered exactly what I wanted and more ! She explained to me everything she was doing and why based on the pics I showed her I wanted and my hair type. Super sweet and knowledgeable!! Highly recommend if I could give more than 5 starts I would ! Also handled my thick Latina hair so well !

I have been seeing Ana for 8 years! She nails it every single time and I can't recommend her and the salon enough to everyone. Even my sister who owns her own salon appreciates the amazing work Ana and her team does

Ana is my hairs savior! In the last few months I lost 3 inches from breakage from a bad highlight job elsewhere. And she showed such empathy, asked a lot questions, and shared her recommendations... which sounded like a dream come true. She took my brassy broken highlights and turned my hair into beautiful shades of honey and warm browns. I walked out feeling like a Goddess and have received so many compliments everyday- literally when friends say hi as they are passing they stop and pause and go wow!

Ana is a miracle maker... and not to mention her vast knowledge when it comes to products, hair health and teaching me how to style my new look. Plus her salon and customer service is super chic and on point ... I felt transported into a lush experience of love and creativity.

Scheduled an appointment with Ana for a haircut. Found them online. It looked like a really beautiful salon. Today I drove to the salon, which happens to be just a few minutes from my law firm for my appointment. I gave myself plenty of time to navigate the evening commute. I drove around for 45 minutes, trying to find parking, there was some kind of event going on across the street from the salon, so there was absolutely no parking. I even went three blocks each way to try to find an opening spot. I was thinking this is not a really safe area for a single person to be walking alone. I called the salon twice with no answer to get them to tell me where I could park or just be of some assistance, but they never answered. It's very difficult to find an upscale salon that does good work and stylists that operate with integrity. I was looking forward to trying this new salon and stylist Ana, but their lack of customer service, or even answering their phone was a dismal first impression. Since I was to be a brand new client, it would've been helpful if the stylist would've reached out to me and let me know the parking situation ahead of time, so as not to waste anyone's time.

Ana is amazing. She is exceptionally skilled and knew how to work with my fine, fragile hair. Conversation was entertaining and she made me feel very relaxed and well taken care of throughout my appointment.

I've been a client of Ana's for almost a year now and every session has been more creative and different! I love how I am able to play around with hairstyles every time I visit, and if I want something in particular, Ana will always deliver exceptionally. My favorite so far has been this short bob I got on Friday :). I will definitely continue to see Ana and visit Candibird !

I always have a wonderful experience with Ana. She is the sweetest person, listens to what I want, and delivers. I love my hair.
I truly believe a salon should be clean, inviting, and have personality. Candibird is a wonderful representation of just that.
