I should have read the reviews prior to eating here. I think this place just needs new management to improve. The entire place was dirty. All the tables and the floor were filthy. The employees were not rude but also weren't too friendly. A smile and a "thank you" would be nice.
Maybe there will be improvement in a few months with new management.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 14366370May 25, 2015
Be warned: the name and logo may be the same, and the homemade paper towel holders may have made the trip, but this is not the happy burger star you remember from 72nd St in Omaha. This is a food court version. A mere shadow of its former self. Plus side: the counter folks at the adjoining grilled cheese stand offer both cheery greetings and farewells.

Barely decent... Our group had a mix from big cheese and Burger star. The sides... Mac and cheese, soup, and fries were all very good. The sandwiches were just decent... Way overpriced! The cleanliness is definitely lacking. The drink station was a hot mess

The food was ok, fairly close to what I expected.
My major concern was with cleanliness. The drink dispensers did not look very clean to me. When I mentioned to the Manager that I had an issue with the iced tea dispenser having 2 large holes in the lid she informed me that it was the only lid she had and she could order one.
How can you run a restaurant and be okay with a beverage dispenser with openings on the top where anything can drop in.
I am assuming this is a violation of some food safety regulation.
I just hope they go ahead and replace it, until then at least they could do is cover it with plasticHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Katina G.Wichita, KS03Nov 14, 2015
This place was very confusing. They joined both big cheese and burger star in the same restaurant. My daughter and I ordered --I ordered from big cheese and received my food within 5 minutes. My daughter ordered from burger star--20 minutes later my daughter received get food. The food was good--the management of time was horrible.

Boy, do I wish I read the reviews before I went to eat there today. I have been at their old location and it was very good. But this place is no where near what it was. They have really dropped the ball. Burnt burgers, soggy cold fries, the 'catsup' was rancid, and the wire baskets were greasy. AVOID at all costs!!

Very mediocre food for the price. Burger was burned on the edges and the fries were not cooked enough. Service was also lacking and they seemed to have a pretty terrible system: one lady barking orders at the three men cooking. They screwed up multiple orders and were painfully slow. Overall, pretty bad.

it's nice that an outlet mall has a halfway decent burger joint, but i just wasn't impressed...way overpriced for what i got, although i did enjoy the burger and onion rings...the employees were ok but perhaps could have shown a bit more professionalism...next time, i'll hit the cheese place...

With very few options at the outlet mall this one seemed like the best choice. It was not. I've given the restaurant multiple chances and never had anything worth eating there unfortunately. The burger I tried first was incredibly greasy and didn't contain the onion straws it said it came with but instead it was the crispy onion flavored topping people put on green-bean casseroles. On another occasion I tried the grilled chicken avocado sandwich. It was rubbery chicken with what appeared to be a smear of guacamole on it but absolutely not the avocado slices I had thought it would have come with seeing as how the grilled chicken avocado sandwich alone with no sides or a drink cost about $9. It is incredibly overpriced. It might sound intriguing and look interesting from the outside but believe me you are better off going to subway.
