The guys at Bose were great, especially Steve! I can't sleep without my Bose sleep buds, and when they stopped charging they were able to fix it for me! They gave me a brand new product!

Bose couldn't hire better people. Esteban "Steve" is the best! Best service, knowledge, and genuine person. BK is also amazing!

I have had the Bose Soundtouch Portable (853) and let me tell you my troubles. It won't stay connected to my wifi. I'll bet I have to set it up as a new device 1-5 times a month. IF the reset even takes, which sometimes it does not. The software is junk, the hardware...well, I returned the first one--dead in box. The second one just stopped working and I had to send it back. They fixed it but that all took time, and with the one year only warranty, I'm expecting it to break again soon. Sounds great when its working. I'd say this device and this (iPad) software is not ready for casual, carefree enjoyment. Its more like an errant child that requires daily attention.

Be aware that if you pay cash at the Bose store you must wait 10-14 business days to receive a refund check should you need to return your item. I asked many questions regarding the return/exchange policy at purchase as the item was a gift. Proper customer service would have been to advise me of that policy when I was paying cash especially since I was already asking questions about the return policy so that I could have just put it on my card.

First let me begin with the fact that we have made a few purchases at this BOSE Outlet store in Anthem because it is a good place for discounted BOSE equipment and all the products we purchased were great and most satisfactory. The staff are NOT high pressure and are pleasant. That said, we recently purchased an item for $200.00 plus tax on our AMEX card and yesterday my wife noted we were charged for two of the items instead of one. I thought the store would just honor their mistake over the phone and credit the over charge but was told we had to drive the 25+ miles one way to show our receipt and get an adjustment credited to our AMEX card. I thought this was a little unfair since the store had made the error and we were being inconvenienced because of it. In retrospect, I could have refuted the charge with AMEX and let them deal with the store but felt this was faster. I would advise customers to check and make sure they are correctly charged before leaving the store. I have no idea what someone would if the lived in Tucson or Flagstaff and had to drive to Anthem for a refund/adjustment.
Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Nov 27, 2018Previous reviewThis evening at about 6 pm, my wife had been looking at various blue tooth wireless speakers at different retail stores and I recalled the Bose Outlet store at Anthem so we drove the 20 + minutes and were greeted by "Steve" who was very helpful in assisting my wife in make a decision on the speaker she wanted. Bose has always been a great acoustical choice in speakers for many years and if you really care about sound quality it is right up there near the top in my opinion. There was a nice discount on factory re-furbished units which carry the same warranty as new so why not save a few bucks while getting a quality product.
