Came here for the Super Bowl. Food was good, service was great.
Started with an appetizer- bruschetta. My only complaint is there is SO MUCH tomato and not enough bread. It kept falling off my pieces. If I had another piece of bread to put it all on it would be great.
Dinner (eggplant parm) was good, husband got a chicken sandwich and liked it.
Drinks were great.
Server was really kind, attentive, suggested things when asked.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - May 24, 2023
Any place with daily happy hour from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM is a-okay in my book!
We joined our friends here for a late afternoon happy hour on a rainy Saturday. The restaurant was busy! There was a birthday party in a section of the main dining room, and the bar area was lively. The Preakness was going to be broadcast at the bar, so that likely increased the traffic. We were able to land a nice four-top in the bar section.
Two things I loved off the bat - the bartender was able to make me a decaf Espresso Martini, and their house Pinot Noir was simply delicious.
The happy hour menu was extensive, and we sampled a little bit of everything - cheesesteak egg rolls, buffalo tails (tenders), mussels, hummus, and some Cape May Salts (my favorite).
Our server was an absolute doll. I cannot recall her name for the life of me, but she had long red hair and she checked in on us regularly. We could tell she valued her guests' experiences. She deserves accolades and a raise!
There is a funny sign behind the bar that read "Welcome Eagles Fans - New York fans please use the back door". Of course. my Philadelphia sports fanatic husband had to put me on blast for being a New York sports fan, but our server chuckled and said I was welcome regardless. So, take THAT!
Really fun time and a great place to catch up with friends!Helpful 10Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0 - Angela R.Lansdale, PA124312Aug 31, 2023
Pizza was great
Service medium
Since we did not have a reservation they acted like they could not seat us even though was mid week and there were plenty of open tables.
Also be aware of service charge for credit card.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Lenore B.Calabasas, CA021Jan 20, 2024

I've never been disappointed by the food here. I particularly like the Hack Salad. The pizza is very good too. Service is quick and efficient if you're talking about food prep and service. They could use friendlier people at the door though. On certain occasions I felt that the young people at the door were not exactly acquainted with the benefits of making guests feel welcome. Maybe they need to take a hospitality 101 class.

Nothing wrong with this great bistro;
From opening to closing
The choices and flavors and personalities are exceptional;
Especially on Wednesday, when Bob Sterling brings the soul of his jazz accomplishment playing and singer songwriting for his lifetime here "down the shore" listen or dance like I often do, especially when Robin or Andy compliment him ! Great bartenders and attentive staff everyone works together to keep you fed and fueled ; in season and out it stayed open during Sandy , I'm not kidding , they are keepers!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - 4949668Jul 14, 2022
Good beach/bar/restaurant in beautiful Margate. We went there to hear the music played by a group featuring the 70's rock era.
The wait staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. We ordered a variety of appetizers instead of entree's. The Calamari, Scallops and Wings were great. Please note that this is really a bar trying to be a restaurant so order appetizers and do not try to turn this into a fine dinning experience.
The music is really the top draw to this place. The also allow persons from the audience to come up and sing. A bittersweet kind of thing if you know what I mean. It is hard for mothers, relatives and friends to tell you the truth about your singing talent. It sounds like beautiful music to them and only them.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Melissa G.Phoenixville, PA04Aug 30, 2023
Hostess is horribly rude. Left full review on Trip Advisor, but the gist is, if you have thick skin and don't mind when an establishment acts like they are doing you a favor, have at it.
Pizza is decent, Brussel sprouts were good, onion rings not so much.
Plenty of local places to choose from, I'd rather spend my money where they consider the customer experience. The waitress and bus people were friendly.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Nov 15, 2022
Was very pleased with the food here. We had a party of 9. Angie was our server and was was wonderful. Dry rubbed wings me and hubby split were amazing! Tender and juicy and fall off the bone. Some pizzas, calzones, salads and veal Parms were around the table and everyone enjoyed their food. Just had a few small issues with the food, but it was fixed!

They delivered this dish and called it chicken cacciatore. Looks like Chinese food. I called the manager and he said "this is our version". You can't make up your own recipe for a familiar dish. It's nothing like chicken cacciatore. It's like ordering chicken parm and getting bbq chicken.
