Bike Doctor Arnold

4/26/24- A mishap made it necessary to bring my fav road bike to Bike Doc. Several other shops could've worked on my bike but I wanted repairs made at a local bike shop that sold Pinarellos. Mechanics there are used to working on them & some parts are in stock.

The owner Steve & team heard my case and jumped into action. They proactively kept me abreast of the progress, even called to deliver the not so great news that my shifters were delayed which delayed completion. It took 2 weeks to make all repairs. I was running errands on my day off and received a text saying I'm Ready to Roll!! Steve and team showed the care & concern I needed during this trying time. ;)

Visit for ALL your cycling needs no matter if you're just starting out or an experienced cyclist. They also carry a nice variety of bikes (Pinarello, Trek, Cervelo, etc.), apparel, & accessories.

I changed the tiers on my bike went outside didn't even get the chance to get to my car and the tires blow up

No thank you to the Arnold bike dr. Have been to this store twice. First time I thought maybe the sullen girl behind the register was just having a bad day. Second time with a different associate but still awful. Like, shockingly horrible. Eventually got my kid a bike at the Crofton bike dr where the employees were actually helpful.

Great people, super helpful! Bought a bike from here over 30 years ago. My wife loved riding this specific bike, although she had a newer one. Bike needed a face lift for sure, so I was given the task to make it rideable again. The staff at Bike Doctor was super helpful and assisted me in my restoration project. Didn't try and sell me stuff I didn't need and helped with showing me how to do some things. In the end the end result was a success and wife is super happy to ride her old glory again. Thank you Bike Doctor!

I received a call from the Bike Doctor, and in all fairness, I felt that I should update my review.

Steve, the GM, reached out because he read my first review and wanted to speak to me directly. He expressed his disappointment on my experience, took complete ownership of the employees' and their lack of customer service training and ensured me that that is not the impression he wanted me to have for this location.

I felt like my voice was heard and his apology was genuine.

I'm optimistic and will see what happens when it's time for a tune for "Electra".

This shop is probably okay for casual week-end bike riders and families who want bikes to ride together, but not so great for serious bike riders or commuters. Not terrible great at honoring their quoted service times on several different occasions.

Very helpful. Very quick. Cost-effective. I've yet to feel like I'm being sold stuff I don't need or anything like that. They aren't brand-snooty (I've run into other bike shops that weren't thrilled to be working on a brand they don't sell or I didn't buy there).

Literally the only bad thing I can think to say is that it's a small store so accessories are limited.

Specifically, if you're reading this Bike Doctor employees, I wish you carried Revelate bags and accessories: https://www.revelatedesigns.com/. Those are really spectacular quality and designs.

I have a great experience every time I walk into Bike Doctor Arnold. Their prices are reasonable and the customer service is unbeatable.

In and out quickly and safely. Got a helmet and some good info and a nice fitting. Prices were very reasonable and staff super friendly. Lots of color choices for helmets!
