Aviara Pavers

We recently used Aviara Pavers to install pavers, stairs, and lighting at our home in La Mesa. Jason Farr and his team were amazing. We couldn't be happier with the work they performed and would highly recommend to anyone looking for similar work (we would definitely hire them again too). Jason is a super cool, laid-back guy who put 0 pressure on us to do anything. In fact, we lost touch over a few months, and I was the one who reinitiated the bidding process. Jason was responsive, communicative, and honest. Each time something negative occurred, Jason presented options, both truthful (might be expensive) and inexpensive (do nothing), which I appreciated greatly. Overall, Jason and his team turned a process that was stressful into something that I really enjoyed being a part of. I truly felt Jason and his team were there to help us and not just to perform a job. Bonus credit for the team fixing our stucco issue on the back of our garage (free of charge), which I thought about asking they do, but didn't. They just read my mind. Also, much appreciated that the crew cleaned up nicely at the end of every day. We've had work done previously where the workers left trash, empty water bottles, and just crap all over the place. Great job!

Construction equipment used in a recent whole-home renovation left our concrete driveway cracked and broken; we opted to replace the old concrete with pavers. After meeting with several of the best-known paver companies in town, we chose Aviara Pavers. They were neither the least nor the most expensive; but we were impressed with their gallery of work, design ideas, references, and their staff.

The project managers, Daniel O. and Jeff M., were on-site daily, and always reachable. Things progressed quickly and smoothly, and any questions we asked throughout the process were quickly and expertly addressed. When issues arose due to topology, or matching up to existing hardscape, Daniel and Jeff offered recommendations that resulted in effective and aesthetically pleasing solutions. The project was completed faster than we expected, and there were no unexpected costs.

The Aviara Pavers laborers were craftsmen: we'd done some smaller-scale tile and paver work on our own, so we could really appreciate the meticulous nature of their work. The pattern layout, the arrangement of colors, and the intricate cuts on angled and curved walkways look like the handiwork of old-world artisans. Their laborers were hardworking, courteous, and cleaned up the site at the end of every workday.

In short, Aviara Pavers exceeded our expectations in every way. The quality of their work was exemplary, their prices were reasonable, and their customer service was everything you could ask for in a major project contractor. We recommend them most highly.

Working with Jason and Daniel at Aviara Pavers (and the entire crew) has been one of the best renovation projects we have ever undertaken. The bid provided was 45% less expensive than the next lowest bid for our project. They were able to start so quickly and finished before the finish date they provided to begin with. The crew was always on time and never stopped working! The finished project is beyond our wildest expectations and looks better than we imagined. They checked in with us at every step of the project to make sure that we were happy and that everything was progressing smoothly. If you need pavers, you need only make one call - Avaiara Pavers!

The Aviara Pavers team built a beautiful backyard for us and we are very grateful for their professional conduct and overall extremally positive experience. Our project was large and took nearly 8 months to install the pavers in the courtyard and backyard, install porcelain steps leading to the backyard, build an outdoor kitchen and a gazebo and a firepit in the backyard. Aaron helped us with the design and selection of materials and we are very happy with the results. Daniel managed the project and patiently attended to each request and changes. The team that worked here was amazing, they worked hard, fast and built beautiful outdoor living space for us. We can't wait to continue upgrading our new home surroundings with this team in the future and will be sure to post more beautiful pictures with results.

Aviara recently completed a paver project for the front of my house. The whole experience from start to finish was exceptional. Aaron was extremely prompt in replying to my inquiry and setting up a meeting and very knowledgable around the various nuances of the project. Daniel oversaw the project and was equally prompt, knowledgeable, and professional. The work was done quickly and as promised, and the project turned out great. The overall cost was fair and competitive. Highly recommend.

Aviara Pavers transformed our backyard in North County into just what we had envisioned with the help of Jason and Daniel and the Aviara Paver crew. We shopped our project around to all of the local companies and after doing our research we chose Aviara Pavers and we are glad that we did.

I can't say enough about how great it was to work with these guys. They made all the adjustments along the way as we progressed through our install. A ton of work went into making the entire thing happen and these guys did it like real craftsmen. The crew worked long days and made fast progress. The guys were always professional, friendly and approachable for questions / concerns. I couldn't have asked for better communication between Daniel and myself throughout the progress. They earned these 5 stars !

I am happy to write this review for Aviara Pavers. My wife and I were looking to retrofit our built in grill space due to a gas leak we were experiencing. Jason came to our home on short notice to assess the situation and provided us with some options. We ultimately decided to invest in completely re-doing our backyard space. Although we already have a custom pool, we wanted to replace grass with turf, concrete with beautiful pavers, put a new gas line in, a new fire pit, and a custom bbq area for our new grill. They even created a putting green for us!

From start to finish, Jason and Daniel (our project manager) were extremely easy to work with. They are creative and make suggestions when you ask, but still are clear that the customer is in charge - zero pressure. They were efficient, and came in at about half the quoted cost of a competitor we met with. The team was great too. At the end, Daniel and Jason helped me get the new grill going and Daniel even helped me install the cantilever umbrella we bought to put into the cooking space.

Definitely a 5 star experience and love our new backyard!

Aviara Pavers did a wonderful job on our new home. We are so happy with their crew and all the great work they did in a short timeframe. The crew worked so hard everyday and they all work so well together and they all take great pride in the detail work of prepping the yard with drains and electrical and gas lines and then the wonderful tile work they did. We would recommend Aviara Pavers to anyone to do their landscape job.
