This is by far the best garage I've found in LA!! The front desk manager Ash is so personable and the mechanics are honest and fix the issue quickly so you don't have any unexpectedly large repair bills. Don't hesitate to come here, you won't be disappointed.

Story:
I have a large air bubble in my tire ready to pop. I have bought my tire online and was looking for a location to put it on. I called and asked if i need a appointment for a tire change. Or if i came right now they will be able to service me ASAP. They said sure! If you come now we can help. I was very close so i came minutes later. Ashley recognized me and welcomed me in and told me that Felipe will be working on my car.

The location is very convenient, not on a busy road or on a quick left turn. There is a park and a mini mart right next to the area so if you need to wait for your service it is a great place. At first glance everything is very clean and organized. No mess or nails scattered around the lot. No group of intimidating men put up front making it uncomfortable as a woman. I already felt safe and welcomed.

The process was super quick! They both told me what they will be doing to my car step by step - in simple terms - and that it's ready to go. Not once did they try to upsell me on one item. They gave me little tips to keep an eye out that completely made sense AND that i knew already (which meant that they were telling the truth and not making anything up).

My car is straight out the dealership new and my warranty is up - i been looking for a place to do my check ups / fixes and i found my place!

PHENOMENAL SERVICE. Ashley will take care of you. You will rarely find someone who's as nice as her. Small auto shop that I feel is founded on honesty and care. I came here to change break pads and I will definitely come back here for any other services.

I sat on this review for a while but ultimately decided that my experience might help someone else. I've been a customer of Automed for a few years until recently when my car started stalling and died.

I towed my car to them, and after a few hours was told the car needed a new battery before it can be diagnosed ($600+). Then, I paid $550 for them to take the car apart and diagnose it. After this, I was told there was a whole host of things wrong with the car at which point I decided to take the car for a second opinion.

When I went to pick up the car to send it somewhere else, they expressed interest in buying the broken car off of me. I received a full quote from Automed for the work required to get my car fixed and running for over $8500. The next mechanic I went to gave me a significantly shorter list and fixed the car for under $500. He also told me a battery change would have been under $300.

Long story short - get a second opinion before you spend $$$$$. Granted the second mechanic I went to was in the valley and probably cheaper, but $8000 cheaper? That's not a price difference based on location.

These guys are honest, transparent, not pushy at all, and they do great work!
Stop looking around, this is where you want to get your vehicle work done!

Excellent and affordable shop with A1 service!

I had a driver's side mirror that needed replacing as it's impossible to drive without one. I called Automed and spoke with Sondra who was super friendly and helpful. She got me an appointment when it was most convenient for me. I came in filled out some paperwork and they got me back on the road in no time at all. Was kind of blown away by the service.

Ultimately they were very fast, easy to work with and affordable. Highly recommend!

I think it's a place you can go if you're in a rush of having something done on the day. Because they have availability and they can do things like oil change and such.

But their price is not good with very high labor rate(67dollar for 0.4hour). After discount, it's 112 for an oil change.
It's a trade-off.

It was my first time getting my car smogged on my own and he made it super easy! It was a very simple and quick transaction which eased the nerves that I usually have about getting things done to my car. It was $65 for the smog check. I'll definitely come back here when I need my car smogged again!
