Robert & Evan assisted my family with a difficult move under some adverse circumstances in a complicated situation. Despite these challenges they were consummate professionals throughout the process. Highly recommend them and would use them again. A+ 10/10

I had a great move with Armstrong. They were able to even come a little earlier than planned, which I preferred. They were super quick and very careful with my things. I would definitely recommend them over any service in the area. My quote was very reasonable and I will definitely use this company again. My movers were Bryan, William, and Wesley. They were awesome!

I had a great experience til my significant other discovered that one of his guns had gone missing from a chest that was not part of the move, but was pushed out of the way while placing my items. Police have been notified.

We used them to move from Philadelphia to SW Florida in the midst of the COVID shutdown in May 2020. We interviewed 3 major carriers and the had the lowest guaranteed quote, $4,350. The picked up and delivered on time and the only damage was due to poor packing on our part.

Last Friday, we used Armstrong for our move in Lancaster city. Our window for movers to show up was from 1pm to 3pm. My boyfriend had to call several times for updates and they kept saying they were running late - they finally showed up at 4:30. I was happy to not have to move, but upset the fact that they showed up so late without any proactive communication.
Once the movers started working, it went smoothly. Two out of three of the movers were friendly, professional, and efficient. The third mover was not - he made several inappropriate comments towards Asians - I am Asian so it was especially not welcomed. Some instances include using a stereotypical accent, referring to an Asian family walking by as all looking the same, and making comments to his coworkers. I will admit that the other movers did a good job ignoring his comments. It was very uncomfortable but we did not feel like it was appropriate to correct him - as he was moving our items and we did not want retaliation. On Monday, Armstrong called my boyfriend to follow up, and he told him all of the details and they said they would follow up. It's been 4 days and no updates. I'm honestly hurt and appalled we spent money on this company and we haven't heard a response.
Edit: I have not received an email nor has my boyfriend.
Update: After our review went up we finally received a call back and had to recount everything again. The owner said they will do training and did give us half our money back. He then requested we revise our review and take out the more negative points - we said we would think about it. We are standing by our review - as no one else should be put in this situation without warning. This company has nice front office staff that end up serving as a cover for horrible movers. Damaged furniture and broken glass and refused to cover anything. One of the large boxes for odds and ends like lawn tools when unpacked actually had empty bottles, cigarette butts, and about 50 lbs of unused wrapping paper that they simply stuck us with for disposal. Just an awful experience. Don't use them

Outstanding company! They helped us move in-town from one side of York to the other, and we couldn't be happier. We hired them to move all our heavy stuff - furniture, beds, garage equipment - and they sent a 3-man team, who did an excellent job. The best customer service from start to finish. Carol came out to survey ahead of time and help us estimate how many hours and whether a two or three person team, and when we changed scope she came back again to quickly check up. They finished the move ahead of time and below estimate, and the guys had a great attitude even with our two boys running around getting underfoot.

One of the worst moving experiences I have ever had. Unauthorized charges were posted on my credit card without notice and it took several days to escalate the issue and receive upper management's contact information. Even after talking to upper management, it took several days to receive credit for the fraudulent and unauthorized charges. Extremely unprofessional staff!

Ami. Your move had some unusual circumstances that created the wrong amount being charged to your card. Having part of the move paid by credit card and another part of the move invoiced to a company is very rare. But we made a mistake and you have a right to be upset. But it certainly does not qualify as fraud (a crime) and we did make it right as quickly as I could since locally we do not process the credit cards. We did learn through this experience. I also expedited your claim settlement. My apologies that we did not execute at our best on your move.
