Aladdin Sleep Center

I am so said to see that they are closed. I made my first purchase here over 20 years ago for my 1st apartment. Every mattress I bought was from here even after moving 50 miles away. I was looking to make another purchase today.
The staff here was always extremely helpful. They will be missed!

Very helpful and willing to deal, as others have said. They carry both name brand and local maker. Not as many samples of each as some of other stores but a decent selection.

Note: we got a great futon bed here but they no longer carry futons as of late 2017.

I decided to make an investment in my spine, and overall well-being and remembered Aladdin Sleep Center from my frequent visits to other businesses in the area.

I was helped by Paul, who is probably the most standup salesman I've ever met. No pressure, no hovering. Just gives me solid info based on what I'm looking for and lets me roam the store as he helps other customers, floating around like a chill party host checking in on his guests.

Well, I found exactly what I wanted and I bought an amazing bed. The delivery guys were great, too.

As an added cherry on top, I get a little card in the mail from Paul thanking me for my business. That's old school and even more so, good business.

Hands down 5/5 experience.

Wow! I am SO grateful to have bought my brand new super comfortable mattress at Aladdin Sleep Center!! To be honest, I had a mattress in mind, one I found at --ahem--another more well known place....but when out in my neighborhood on errands, I saw the sign that said FAMILY OWNED...since i 1979?? Or close to it. I am so glad I found Paul Westhoff & Aladdin!!

From the moment I walked in the door, to the moment I lay down on the first bed, I was so pleasantly surprised. The sheer joy & deep relief of lying on a lovely new well made mattress was enough to sell me, but the genuinely helpful, well informed & honest service that Paul Westhoff gave made me a customer today and for life!!!!

Run don't walk to get your new bed. You deserve it!!

I was looking for a mattress within my budget for a guest room and Paul Westhoff was there to help me and was very accommodating. Something about him just made me trust him.
He understood my needs and luckily they had one on sale that fit my needs. Paul was the only employee at the time I went that I saw on the floor but I can honestly say that if Paul is a reflection of the Aladdin Sleep Center brand, the owners will have nothing to worry about because he is a gem.
In fact, I cannot wait to buy my next mattress from this place if I can convince my husband to switch our current master room one out. Thank you Paul. I hope this coming year brings you many blessings.

Was on the market for a mattress after my bed frame broke on me in the middle of the night.

Initially came with the intent of purchasing a Tempurpedic mattress but Paul convinced me to get a viable alternative that did not disappoint; he's well-versed based on consumer preferences: found me a bed that fits the right compromise between a soft cushion while maintaining a good cooling fabric. Ended up purchasing an alternative brand, known as Diamond Mattress; also had a nice discussion on the nature of market values for mattresses, specifically on why Tempurpedic is exponentially more expensive than generic brands, especially with the expenses put on R&D and advertisement. The application process for financing was smooth as expected. One month sleeping on my new mattress and I have yet to wake up with a migraine or a stiff neck even after staying up late.

Definitely recommend this establishment if you're in the market for a new mattress and uncertain of what you want. Paul will take the time and provide substantial information on the pros and cons of every mattress brand. Aladdin Sleep Center offers financing via Synchrony Bank, which offers a no-payment-of-interest option if paid in full within 6 or 12 months.

My only criticism is that I regret waking up every morning; this gif sums my reaction in a nutshell.

At the first stage I went this place for the mattress and the next time I want to continue this place as the best service of them and I am so glad to them as for the great customer service.
You can go this place for the first time at least. Ok you can go for check out.

Came in here after going to sit and sleep and ortho mattresses in Long Beach. Should have came here first! Great selection and price and Paul is awesome. He has been working in the industry for over 20+ years and it really shows. We have never picked out a mattress before and didn't really know what to buy. He didn't pressure us to buy the most expensive mattress but he helped us find something that was reasonably priced and fit our comfort needs! Great salesman and a great guy!

I have owed Paul a good review for over a year now! (I know, I am the worst person ever, right?)

Anyway, Paul is simply the best! After all, how many people remember the name of the guy that sold them a mattress a year and a half ago? I'd guess not many.

Paul did an amazing job of being extremely patient (even when I came in several times before purchasing), and was always super helpful.

I ended up purchasing 2 mattresses from him. I left feeling like I got a great deal and received the best customer service possible! In this day and age good customer service is surprisingly hard to find (which is sad), so I only enjoy giving my business to places that know customer service.

I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a mattress!

KISS (keep it simple stupid)

The showroom is as simple as the Starbucks strip-mall it's located in, and Paul and Irene seem to keep it very simple too. They have a good selection of beds, and their prices without any haggling, or last minute, "wait a second" deals, were signifgantly lower than a few deals I was offered as I was pushing through the exit door in a few other stores. Basically Paul and Irene had a very relaxed, take your time, attitude, and none of that, "if you buy now," crap.

I tripped, with my girlfriend, all the way to Long Beach, because one of my previously favored beds was available there for $200 cheaper than another salesman (in another store) reduced the price to as I was exiting the store empty handed... And when I didn't bit at that, he was going to through in two pillows, a frame and a box spring too...

However, once at ASC I found two beds I LOVED even more, at what I felt was a great price, and after I bought the mattress and such, Paul gifted us with two pillows. AFTER.

Now, I may change this review if there is any difficultly receiving my new bed, but everything up to this point has been aces.

Here's my own advice... To get a GREAT MATTRESS FOR YOU, lay on a lot of differnt beds, several times... It even helps to try the same bed on different days, in different showrooms... Find out about the return policy and the warranty, as well as price... Then spend some serious awkward time on each one. Serious time... Lay. Flip. Get up. Move. Chat. Bounce. Figure out what type, what firmness, and what qualities, you're looking for. And also know that when you make for the door you may be offered a better deal than if you just take the first bed you chose to lay in. Also in my research I found that it's pretty easy to make a bed softer, by adding an additional layer on top, but to make one firmer, may not be as easy...

In summary, what my father told me, always, take your time, and always research.
