If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I had four or five companies come out to quote for complete AC unit and compressor replacement . Air around the clock came out and gave me a really good price that was at least $2500 lower than other companies. I hired them the same day and they came out the next day and installed my new unit.
For the first time ever Living in Florida I had a company come out and do things right the first time. Installers came prepared with everything necessary to complete the installation. We couldn't be happier with the entire process from the sales person to the office coordinator to the installers. I would highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again in the future. 6 months ago we purchased a maintenance agreement on our (2) 5 year old units, = 2 visits a year for basic maintenance $381.00.
First, appointment, no issues. 6 Months later, our appointment window 10:00AM-1:00pm. No one came. At 1:30 I called and they apologized, and said a replacement technician was on his way. The replacement technician, Edguardo arrived at 4:30, but spent 15 minutes in his truck first. When he came to the door, 4:45, Edguardo told me my appointment was for a air duct cleaning estimate, not a 6th month service. He refused to do the service ( since it would take about 1 hour and it was already 4:45PM), I said I would call the office to confirm my service, as I did walked, off and left. Standing at the door in disbelieve- I called to speak to to a manager. She called me the next morning and offered me another complementary year of maintenance for 2025, "wow" I said. That is very nice, I did not expect that. She apologized for me having to wait all day for service and rescheduled the next day.
They sent the original tech (Kerry) the next day. I was complimented on our home and after inspecting everything, they came to me to tell me we needed and acid wash which could be rescheduled for another day. I inspected the photo I took and saw about 50% light coverage. Typical, I was fine with that. After about some time outside, they (he was training another tech) reconsidered and said both coils inside completely needed to be REPLACED, so I should consider purchasing two brand new units $12K , instead of replacing the coils $6K- both units replaced???- we had a maintenance call, they were FINE 6 months ago! The air works perfectly, no leaks, cold, etc....this was a check up on a relatively young pair of units! I asked Kerry to leave and told him "playtime was now over".
I hope the owner Mike Lang, reads this and sees the shameful bait and switch that is going on here. Oh, the tech boasted why he was a no show , he had to help his Senior customer work out paperwork with his HOA for a new AC installation- the senior did not have a computer or printer, so the tech went to staples to send the paperwork which allowed him to make the installation sale happen...obviously commission driven.
We feel completely bamboozled...trying to make a simple service appt into 12K commission appointment??? Thanks but no thanks, for the free year of maintenance next year, we will gladly take our business elsewhere. Had a brand new unit put in a couple years ago. Last month AC stopped blowing cold air. Someone came out and fixed it. We ended up paying for the repair and purchased a service insurance through Air Around the Click for future repairs. Last night the AC stopped blowing cold again. I called this morning and they are now charging me for someone to come out to look at the problem. This makes no sense to me. They only care about making money and not doing the right thing.

Be careful with this company. They will be very nice before they have your money.
But they are NOT professional. They will screw you any way they can.
They pulled a PERMIT for a unit I purchased with my 84-year old mother years ago. After the sale they NEVER CLOSED the permit.
Now I am selling the unit and the sale is pending this closure of the permit.
I have called them about 10 times one day this week, and they did not get back to me. They didn't bother to get the facts from me - and you will never hear from management.
If they do call you back - they will yell at you and tell you it's all your fault.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM. They are the Walmart of AC and they treat you worse than Walmart, if that is possible.
I kept quiet for years about them. BUT the time has come for me to speak out.

This company will take your money every way they can. The unit we bought from them has broken down 5 times in 4 years. The installation was sloppy...I think it is probably at the root of the breakdowns. We were loyal repeat customers and they treated us like crap.

I had a new A/c unit installed, the guy obviously didn't know what he was doing since he left the drain loose and now there's a massive leak in my home. I've called over and over and No service manager is available in over 3.5 hours to answer calls or cares since they already charged me for a horrible job.

today is Wednesday they never call us. So once again my husband had to call them.
They said that they will come tomorrow. I don't believe they will because they didn't set up a time or anything.

Few weeks ago I got a email from them telling me that I need to schedule a maintenance appointment.
I called and they scheduled for 09/14/2023 (Thursday morning). They came and did whatever they need to do, they left everything seems fine and the next day (Friday night) my AC stopped working. Yes! After their maintenance visit my air stop working.
We called them and they sent someone here (Saturday) the guy said that I need a new compressor for my BRAND NEW AC.
So I said to him this is a brand new AC how come I need a new compressor. The technician told me that he does not make AC so is not his fault.
So this is how we get treat buy Air Around the Clock.
THEY DON'T MAKE AC.!
I called their office and seems that they need to order a NEW compressor FOR MY BRAND NEW AC.
It is 85 F inside my house right now.
The lady on the phone told me that she need to get all the information from the technician to call me and let me know when they will come to fix my BRAND NEW AC.
As you can't imagine nobody call me so I kept calling today We called and they said 4 to 5 days. Because is coming from fort Myers she said!! Sounds like They are walking here with the compressor to take 5 days to get here.

Do not use this company under any circumstances. They are the worst!
Technician who diagnosed my AC was less than 10 minutes at my property and I was charged $400 for unclogging my drain lines. They determined my coil was leaking Freon and quoted me $3000 to replace. I got a second opinion from another company and wow turns out I didn't need a coil replacement after all and my AC was back in working order for less than what I paid these thieves.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
