Such an honest and hardworking crew! I've been bringing my car to Above Auto Care for over a year now, and I can confidently say that this auto shop is the real deal. I waited a while to review this place because sometimes things start off well during the first experience and then things can drift off. I've now had both small and major services done to my car here, and each time has been a great success.

I first brought my car in for a routine oil change. Vuong noticed that my gasket cover was leaking, but there was no forceful push to get anything fixed right then and there. Of course, I got it replaced, but I appreciated that they weren't trying to sell me on a ton of other things. They are very understanding and will be honest with you in regard to what needs to be fixed or replaced with your car. I'm so used to being on the defense and having to get a second opinion due to the antics of my last mechanic. Vuong and Ken are very trustworthy and truly look out for the benefit of their clients.

My car started losing power when I accelerated. I asked them if they could diagnose the problem. Based on what I told them and what they saw after looking at my car, they said I needed new spark plugs. The acceleration issue that I was having was gone after they installed the spark plugs. Most recently, I noticed that my car started violently shaking when I hit the brakes. I asked them if they could do an inspection on my suspension parts. Sure enough, I had let my brakes get down to the lowest of the low. They replaced them, and now the shaking has stopped.

I'll admit that sometimes I'm neglectful with certain maintenances on my vehicle. But hey, I'm working on it! I'm just grateful to have Vuong, Ken, and the rest of the Above Auto Care team to assist me when I'm having these kinds of issues with my car. I feel like it's actually made me more aware and now I've started to pay attention to even the little things that may become an issue. I'm so happy to call Above Auto Care my car shop. I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a skilled and honest crew to take care of their cars.

FYI: They accept Venmo, Zelle, and Cashapp for payment. There's a 3% charge for card payments. They're closed on Sundays and Mondays and work by appointment with very limited room for walk-ins.

Changed Oil. Oil Filter, & Engine Air Filter. Made an appointment and they were there ready to start working on my SUV. Very fast service, courteous, knowledgeable, and extremely competitive affordable pricing. Thank you, Vuong & Ken, for an excellent service. I will be coming here more often.

I reached out because my car has been making a horrendous squealing noise upon starting, and we've all suspected it was the serpentine belt, but I got that replacement recently, so I was just stumped. I brought it in for inspection and found out the last mechanic I went to didn't use the right part, so that was probably the culprit. They gave me an estimate (which was a very fair price), but the part that impressed me most is that they told me I should try to talk to the original mechanic first to see if he'll fix his mistake so that I don't have to shell out extra money. I thought that was such an honest move that I really trust this shop now and would definitely come back for other services. So many auto shops are scammers and money grabbers, so it's really refreshing to find one that is honest and decent. Very nice guys as well.

This place is great! I requested a quote for an oil change online and was pleasantly surprised by the quick response, excellent pricing, and availability for the service. I dropped my car off and Ken had it done before I came back from picking up a few things at Walgreen's, across the street. I will definitely be back for my next oil change!

My car had an starting issue. Car clicks once but doesn't start. Above Auto care also found out that my alternator wasn't pulling the required voltage so they replaced the alternator and starter. From their friendly and knowledgeable staff to their quick and efficient work, this shop exceeded my expectations.

They provided a fair estimate, gave me a timeline and the car was done within 3 days. Car ran great after the repairs. The customer service here is outstanding.

Took my fiancés car here for an oil change and break diagnosis. Vuong was great. He was very responsive and offered the diagnosis for free. He was able to figure out what was causing the noise in her tires amount other things. Upon getting the quote I ask led my cousins what they thought and they let me know the price was very reasonable for the work being done (they are also car mechanics) . Haven't had an issue since. He also cleaned and polished her front and rear headlights. High recommend . Will be coming here for future auto repair needs.

A neighbor told me about Above Auto Care eight years ago and I have never taken my 2004 Lexus anywhere else since then. We all have garage horror stories but not with this place. Vuong and Ken are incredibly honest, professional and really know their stuff. I am a customer for life. My 20 year old car runs like its brand new.
