We drop in to tractor supply from time to time to see if they have what we are looking for. They definitely have lots of things for the farm owner. We're just looking for items to use around our yard.
Lots of animal feed for a variety of animals, including your pup. Toys too. In the spring they sold live chicks. Metal and plastic bins for animal feed storage or yard waste. Wire cutters, gun safe, quads, clothes and gear.
The prices are in line with the quality. Staff are pleasant. Store clean and well organized. Definitely worth a look.Helpful 6Thanks 0Love this 6Oh no 0 - Kaitlyn F.Pawtucket, RI013Dec 15, 2022
Shelves are always stocked and the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable! They always offer to load out my bags of feed and check other stores for me if they DO happen to be out of stock.

I stopped at a few stores to see if there's anymore wet cat food unfortunately the shelves were empty, I figure I would try Tractor Supply, sure enough there was one left on the shelf, I met a friendly shop assistant Leigh Ann she asked if I wanted to sign up for their membership, also to donate to the farmers, that's great customer service, also a shop assistant was outside was also friendly greeting me asking how my day is going, then he asked a customer next to me if they needed help that's what I like to see more of that I will be coming back Thank You for showing great customer service

I'd actually rate them 3.5 stars.
I don't own a farm or horses, so I can't speak to that part of their stock, but they do have a fair selection of pet supplies, lawn and gardening equipment, and home and automotive maintenance items, as well as work clothes.
I've bought two dog crates from here, and they are less expensive than the big chain pet stores, as are pee pads.
Their flyer has good sales on big-ticket items like welders or generators. Hand tool selection, however, is weak. It's not a big store, and not a specialty store by any means. Because they have many different departments, their selection within each section is not very deep. Sometimes, though, they've surprised me with an item that I couldn't find anywhere else locally, like a certain style of pickup truck toolbox hold-downs.
Every employee I've encountered has been polite and friendly, but it's sometimes hard to find help on the sales floor.
This location is in a plaza with Ocean State Job Lot, so you can cover a lot of things on your errand list. Since there is a traffic light at the entrance to the plaza, it's easy to get back onto the main road, and there is plenty of parking.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Allie L.Cranston, RI174137281Dec 20, 2017
This store is awesome! The reason for stopping in was for an LED light bar harness for my husbands truck. Though they did not have the particular size he was looking for we were able to knock off some other items we were out shopping for that day such as food for our dogs. I was shocked that they had Blue Buffalo food for both cats and dogs. Usually this brand is only found at pet stores or on chewy.com. They also carry a decent selection of food and supplies for live stock.
Tractor Supply has a bit of everything from cowboy boots to lawnmowers as well a great selection of tools and plumbing equipment. Prices are reasonable, the store itself is clean as well as easy to navigate and the staff were extremely helpful. At checkout, the cashier asked if we were part of their membership program, which we weren't so she signed us up. We will definitely be returning soon!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0 - Freda B.San Francisco, CA04Jun 22, 2020
management here is a MESS!!! they have price tags that don't match the item displayed. store manager is a waste of time. Their Corporate office is a BIGGER waste of time.

This is one of my favorite stores. We have a horse farm so of course we are constantly here for fencing supplies and things for fixing tractors and such. But I also like their clothing especially for the grandchildren. They have fun toys near Christmas and some unique decorations at all times of the year. We also go here for food for the dog which is always an adventure because there are so many different foods to choose from. Lately my dog has been fussy about what he is eating so I went in and bought a small bag of something different to see if I could find what he likes. The cashier told me of another brand that was similar to what I bought but cheaper. She told me the next time I needed food to come in and buy a small bag of that brand which is their store brand and that they would only charge me 1 penny for it so that I could see if I liked it. Now that is customer service. They are always friendly and they have what we need out here.

Reasonably well stocked store and generally helpful staff. For years the bolts/hardware section has been a complete chaotic mess. Good luck finding what you need in respect to grade 8 bolts. Mis-marked/filed and most everything that you need is missing. There is clearly no surveillance or upkeep of this area. You are better off going somewhere else.

clearly whomever does the ordering and stocking of equestrian and farm supplies for this branch does not have any livestock experience. Strange choices and quantities, or they are out of what you're looking for, or just don't carry it...at this store. have had better experiences at other chains, probably because they're in a more rural area and management knew what they needed.

I purchased a King Pellet stove in December 2013 and have had nothing but problems with it. I have replaced the igniter 4 times, the fuses 3 times, and the heat shroud for the igniter because it cracked from the heat. I called the store and they do not service them, nor do they have anyone who services for them. I called around and no other pellet stove stores service these pieces of crap. Luckily I am capable enough to replace these parts myself. NEVER BUY A PELLET STOVE FROM THESE LOSERS WHO DO NOT BACK UP WHAT THEY SELL.
