I tried this spot for a morning hot yoga sesh and was not disappointed. The pace of instruction was manageable and easy to follow. The instructor was encouraging and challenging at the same time.
I got a good sweat goin' and was very pleased with my experience. I'd recommend to folks looking for a studio to check out or folks wanting to try hits yoga for the first time.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 25, 2024
Came here for the sound baths on Friday as well as for the prenatal yoga classes on Sundays throughout my pregnancy. Both classes were amazing. Prenatal offered a safe practice for me towards the end of my pregnancy that also included a safe space to discuss my struggles and fears. The sound baths were extremely restorative. Highly recommend both these classes!

I've recently gone back to Soul of Yoga - mostly for Flossies' Restorative Yoga Friday nights. The room is packed and tonight was overbooked but they graciously allowed my guest to join as she was pretty stressed and I knew this was important. I always leave feeling calm and full of gratitude to have such a wonderful and welcoming place to go to when times get especially challenging. Shout out also to Claudia and all the people there that make it so special.

Encinitas may very well be the yoga capitol of San Diego.
Soul of Yoga has been a mainstay of the community for many years, with a talented group of yogis teaching classes to students, yet they also are teaching the teachers of the community. Community is what Soul of Yoga is about.
I have been trained in yoga and Soul of Yoga is one of few studios in the area that offer continuing education credits for yoga teachers. I intend to take my CEU's at Soul of Yoga. They offer a broad variety of classes for everyone; student and teacher. Everyone should have a practice, if only just to breathe.
You can participate in ceremonies, workshops, and sound healing sessions. Yoga classes from slow to fast, ying and yang are here.
They provide something for everyone. I appreciate they have a fuller schedule on the weekend than most studios who operate a half day. I like having a class to end my week and to start it.
Soul of Yoga has a lovely shop of yoga wear and healing tools on-site for your shopping pleasure, for things you need or desire. I have taken classes with co-founder Tom and actually found I enjoyed chanting and singing. Flossie is an exceptional vibrational energy healer and Chiari creates beautiful ceremonies with the moon stages.
You are able to take a free class to try Soul of Yoga prior to signing up for monthly sessions or paying for individual classes. They also accept ClassPass. ClassPass is a students (and teachers) dream. One can explore different studios, instructors and be able to get to a class on the perfect day for what you want. I love to try new classes now.

Soul of Yoga is my favorite spot for Yoga as they have a nice selection of practices & times. The restorative class at night with sound bowl healing is magical. They also offer a great dance class with Sonia on Tuesdays and a variety of other classes and Trainning courses

I love this place, but it isn't run like you're typical yoga studio. There are two studio rooms. One inside the main building with the check in desk and the other is on the other side of the Chinese restaurant. Both studios have natural light. There are no mirrored walls here. This place is about mindfulness first, a workout second. They have a wide variety of classes, but I do wish they'd offer more morning classes (before 9am). This place doesn't feel pretentious, but they have all the equipment you could ever need. Studios are clean.
Sermon on the Mat is a class I'd recommend for people wanting to feel joyful (not sweaty) after a yoga class. Morning Kick Asana is a mixed bag and depends on the instructor. I love their vinyasa level 2 class, because the instructor gives plenty of modifications. They have beginner courses too if you're still new to yoga. You walk away with a community vibe.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
