Is it still the case as of May '22 that a 1/2 dozen is $18 and a full dozen is $39? And if that's the case, why do they charge you $3 more for buying a dozen?
A:
Just buy two half dozen. Problem solved.

Salted vanilla donut was great, wasn't a big fan of the whip cream on top of the earl gray donut but besides that the earl gray donut was great. Thanks Doe team!
Heads up they do not take cash over 50$.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - S J.Fremont, CA04016Apr 29, 2024
Tiny shop on an inconvenient side street selling donuts? Lets go!
Cute shop with a line out the door, tasty donuts and quick friendly service.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Apr 13, 2024
While in Portland today a friend said we has to stop here and try the donuts. She'd seen it featured in feed Phil. I was a little skeptical but figured I'd give it a try. We each picked out a donut and let me tell you. Has I not known they were vegan I'd have never know. Probably best donuts I've had in awhile.
We had pear fritter 10/10
Cookie dough 10/10
Portland fog 9/10
Bear claw 10/10.
I'll be back here for sure next time!! Only wish I'd gotten some to take home.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - 1536002070May 6, 2024Updated review
Haven't been here in a bit but recently added a stop to an order because these donuts were looking good that day. I for sure was more impressed than previously. Vegan donuts definitely have a different texture but I rather like it. Plus if I can go vegan without feeling like I'm giving up too much then I'd rather do that. I was feeling these flavors and it was an improvement from my previous take.

I decided then to just go ahead and have them delivered (delivery fees are high here). I didn't want to decide so I did order every one. I know, that's too many donuts. They came packaged in this beautiful long box and they did all travel well. My first thought was, you can't really tell they're not just regular donuts. The texture was just fine to me, not at all how I feel about many gluten free products. They all sound amazing and look wonderful. They have a small selection that are standard and have several seasonal varieties, which is nice if you come here regularly. They were good, but not great. Really I was expecting a lot more flavor. I really didn't get a lot of flavor from any but the sour peach. It really was quite sour, but still good. It seems that the flavors are often in the glazes, but they are very subtle, so I found it hard to really get. I was expecting filled donuts to actually be filled, but they were regular donuts with filling in the hole. That was weird to me, and it definitely gets you less filling, which means you only get a couple bites with it. I prefer a standard filled donut. We also got some of the caramel apple swirl soft serve. Now that was pretty good. The caramel overpowers the apple a bit, so I wish it had been less, but that's because the apple was so delicious! The caramel was good too, but I would've liked a little more apple to balance it out. I wanted to love these. I was really hoping they'd be as amazing as they sounded, but just lacked a bit of flavor. Still, I'd eat here because it's vegan.

Yummy raised donuts. Really enjoyed the London fog and the salted vanilla. I'm so glad I read the reviews and got the vanilla, as it looked basic as hell but it was a reverse catfish and tasted like heaven. The balance of the salt with the sweet was perfection. London fog was tasty although the flavor of the Earl grey was quite light. The texture of both donuts were light and fluffy. 5 stars

These donuts are amazing. What a treat. I had a maple twist, a little bouncier on the tooth than your typical non vegan donut but still delicious. A salted vanilla, could've done without the salt but still yummy. I know people say eat them the same day and that is a good rule to follow but my pear fritter was still perfection the next day. The boys got fancier donuts and gave rave reviews. Next time I am trying the ice cream!

What a decadent surprise! A friend brought me several Doe's Donuts as a surprise one afternoon... much to my delight! The donuts were delicate, pillowy and oh, so delicious. I was hooked on Doe's from first bite!
I've since been to the Hollywood storefront several times, paying forward donutty good deeds to other friends I'd like to introduce to Does. The Portland Fog, a raised donut with an earl grey glaze topped with fresh whip and vanilla bean is my all time favorite. Damn, it's downright heavenly!
I'm currently working my way through the menu, timing my caloric intake such that I only visit once a month. But... I sure do look forward to those visits!Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 12Oh no 0 - Feb 21, 2024
Doe is my new favorite donut shop in Portland. Easy to access location, absolutely adorable logo and insanely delicious vegan donuts - what more could you ask for?
I stopped by last January after months of following their Insta and seeing post after post of their eye-pleasing creations (huge kudos to the photographer). My favorite was the limited Buttermint White Chocolate. It was so pretty and tasted just like my childhood. The Portland Fog (earl grey icing, vanilla bean) was a close contender. This one is a must! The Lemon Buttermilk Bar (another limited January flavor) was perfectly tangy. I wish this one was available year-round. The classic "Doe" (strawberry milk glaze with sprinkles) is another nostalgic flavor that I loved. Lastly, the Sundae was a chocolatey dream. The ice cream cone pieces were brilliant.
Doe Donuts will be my first stop next time I'm in PDX! Can't wait to see what else they come up with!Helpful 5Thanks 0Love this 5Oh no 0 - 753105Jan 3, 2024Updated review

So I had to share this because Doe Donuts did such an incredible job. I placed a special order for my husbands birthday and asked for letters, the donuts read "Happy Birthday Bebe". They were all maple and I requested sprinkles on the "Bebe" part. Not only were the donuts beautiful and delicious, my husband was so surprised and so excited! It was the perfect birthday surprise for him because he loves maple donuts and he's vegan. Birthday donuts were a success! 17 letter donuts came out to 61$ (not including tip). I was extremely satisfied with my order. Thank you Doe Team, you are awesome!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Sep 3, 2023Previous reviewSo far the best place to go in Portland for vegan donuts! Doe Donuts is 100% vegan. The drinks, the donuts, breakfast sandwiches and ice cream! I first went to Doe's last October while visiting Portland and I just moved to Portland recently so this was my first stop for donuts! They have tables outside to sit and eat your goodies. The service has been great both times. Staff will offer recommendations if you've never been. They have a couple donuts that stay on the menu year round and they have many seasonal donuts that come and go. Today we got a few maple twists, a Portland Fog and 2 vanilla bean. Excited to eat them :)

Absolutely delicious donuts! All we got was donuts so it was very quick and easy. The hardest part was choosing from the unique flavors! They had a good mix of signature donuts as well as seasonal options which was great. Some were a tad more sweet than the others, but I would get all of the flavors again. I wish i lived closer so that I could try all of the flavors that we didn't get!
