I just wanted to say this establishment was very professional clean nice and I honestly left with my expectations being overly met. I had been to a piercing place basically ended up giving me my money back because they did such a terrible job and couldn't even remove their own jewelry.. I was literally in their chair, screaming. I went to Thore at enigma, and he was not only kind and patient but able to successfully take out the jewelry without causing me any pain. This establishment will always be the first place I think to go when I need any piercing or tattoos. I really appreciated this service today and I am very honest when it comes to reviews and have no reason to over hype but this just really was a great experience.

I scheduled a session with Nessie Blaze. Worth the wait by far! Over 10 hours straight of tattooing. Got there at noon. Started tattooing at 2:45pm. Think we got done around 1:30am. No breaks either, which was my fault lol.
Her attention to detail is by far one of, if not, the best I've had from a tattoo artist, & I have over 14 tattoos already. This was the 1st full-color piece I've gotten (& the longest I've ever subjected myself to pain at one given time).
I will definitely be coming back for the other full pieces I've been wanting to get done.
I'll end with this. You get what you pay for ... & this was was not only worth the wait, for her schedule to be free, but the investment of a permanent piece that I will forever cherish.

I didn't want to write a negative review but unfortunately that's what my experience was. It sucks because my tattoo had a deep spiritual meaning and I was initially excited about the project.

Bookie was the artist helping me out in which I was excited about but I ended up having my share of challenges. Unfortunately he was late to all appointments. 3 /4 were 1hr late. I also have a couple of cancellations in there as well. All of this was frustrating because I was clearing my hectic work schedule and losing out on money. This is all significant because time on the project was part of a future issue on pricing. Lack of communication also caused more problems than it should have.

What really got me is on my first appointment early June I told him I would need it done by August because of my vacation trip. He said no problem but due to all the challenges it wasn't finished. The tattoo was still healing and I couldn't enjoy aspects of my trip because it was planned around the water and I couldn't submerge the chest piece.

Initially the tattoo was coming out amazing but towards the end I felt there were some details missing in which I got cleaned up with another artist.

First and foremost as soon as I enter the place of business I was greeted with the up most respect , it's rare when you can find a great tattoo parlor but it's really rare to find such an establishment where you feel like family I'm proud to say my artist was Chris Booker aka Bookie ! All around great dude and a hell of an artist , I'll be sure to be back for more work thank you very much Enigma Family much love .

All of the artists and apprentice were incredibly professional, skilled, informed, kind, compassionate, respectful and thoughtful. They constantly made sure everyone there felt comfortable and safe (especially the women) and made anyone who came in there feel like a family friend. Kat Tat really did an amazing job creating the best shop environment. And the shop manager Barbie is the biggest sweetheart and such a lovely beautiful human being. My artist was Nessie Blaze and I truly can't say enough wonderful things about her she was a dream to be around. And she and did such beautiful work on the two small meaningful tattoos she did for me. It meant everything to me. I had the best experience there and will absolutely be going back as soon as my wallet allows.

Kevin Laroy is the best. I flew in from NY to finally complete my full sleeve and I am still beaming with smiles. I am more than pleased. Kevin was able to take my vision and add his artistic skills and make sure that the results is a true work of art.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. I met the owner Kat who is cool and funny. She engaged me in conversation and creates a very warm and welcoming atmosphere. The tattoo artist here have a good working relationship and the support and moral among them is very high. It was evident is them coming over and complimenting each other on their work. You can tell that it was genuine. All the tattoo artist here are great and this is no exaggeration. Exceptional talent in one place is rare and Enigma has achieved it.

The place is very clean and they are extremely sanitary.

I went to Enigma for 2 birthday tattoos that my better half surprised me with. I will say that I was very pleased that the process to set up an appointment with Nelly was super efficient. Her assistant was able to let us know about available slots, price points and any necessary/required deposit. So fast forward to arriving at the shop, it was spacious enough that artists have their own open booths and there was seating as soon as you walk in . Nelly was super chill, and provided me with 2 new tattoos that I love!!! Thank you Nelly for delivering colorful work, that looks so good. Her other work that she showed us, is so vivid, clean lines... I was impressed. I know my wife and I will be seeing Nelly for other pieces that we both want done by her.

Beware! These guys are deposit thieves and the shop operates like a typical tattoo shop with unprofessionalism and no appreciation for their customers nor future clientele. I went in for consultation a while back. I put down a big deposit and scheduled my tattoo date for the following week. During the consultation they acted like everything was coo and that they were going to keep in touch with me for exchanging ideas about the tattoo piece.

Several days went by and I received no contact from them. It's like after they got their deposit they switched up on me. So I reached out to see if everything was ok and got no response. Then the nite before my scheduled appointment they hit me up out of nowhere to cancel and offered to reschedule. I still had a bit of faith so I rescheduled. Then the same thing happened again. The only difference this time is they didnt hit me up at all until 3 days after the appointment. I hit them up several times and the day of but didnt get a response back until 3 days after the due date. Then they offered to refund me my deposit.

I hit them up dozens of times trying to get my money back and every time they hit me back at least a week or 2 would pass until I got a response. It's been about 2 months now and I still havent gotten my deposit back so now I'll have to sue them in small claims court to get my money back on top of wht I lost due to missing work days on the days that I scheduled with them. Buyers beware! They do ok tattoo work but customer service wise they are trash and turn into a ghost after they get their deposit....so keep this in mind when you put down that deposit or trust them with your next body art/tattoo.

We came here to get work done, have Kat help get Tatoo's blended so it all flows organically! Get new pieces done & just take a few sessions and let her get to her craft with the needle! She did an amazing job! She is so good at what she dose... her shop is professional & pleasant! The other staff is positive & fly just like her. It's also private & discrete and it nice to find that in Hollywood!
The art of the walls is so beautiful... it's almost like your in an art museum that has Tatoo artist available by appointments only... like some new fly type stuff lol
