My husband and I took on some lessons to learn our first dance for our wedding. Our dance instructor, Courtney, was the best!

We informed her what the song was for our first dance and she came up with our steps.

Keep in mind that my husband and I are not natural dancers. In fact, we are quite the opposite but Courtney made our lessons so much fun and we were able to perform the steps with greater ease at the end of our lessons. Thank you so much!

Great for beginner dancers like us! We needed our first dance for our wedding choreographed and Sara did an amazing job! She made you feel so comfortable dancing and our dance was amazing! So many compliments from our guests and we are thrilled to learn more.
She not only teaches you your choreography but also other ballroom and swing dance moves so that you can dance on the night of your wedding!
Loved our instructor and can't wait to go back!

If I could give this dance studio a zero star, I definitely would. My husband and I came with a Groupon for our wedding dance lessons. The first class was great with Catalina, but we knew that it was a gimmick with money when we sat down with the owner to go over pricing. None of it sound right to us, which is why we didn't budge on purchasing more lessons. The positive is that we absolutely loved Catalina, she's a great dance instructor and she is truly talented. However, this establishment is horrible. No one ever picks up the phone when you call and when the receptionist does, she's clueless about pricing, scheduling or just anything you ask her! You'll be glad you even get a hello from her. The owner never gets back to you. After our second lesson, we had it with this place and cut them out completely. My husband and I are quick learners so we grasped a lot of what was taught to us and kept it moving. If you solely rely on this place for your dance, they will screw you over. I definitely would not recommend even stepping foot into this dance studio. Horrible experience, never again!

We had a wonderful experience learning to dance at Arthur Murray Dance Studio in Bayside, Queens. The instructors were very patient and very professional. We not only learned the steps to several dances, but also learned how to lead and how to follow. We paid for individual lessons and were surprised and happy to learn that group lessons and dance parties where we could practice were included.

This studio is really beautiful. It recently underwent renovations and looks like a ballroom in a hotel, not some painted box like other dance studios. I love how the teachers use up to date music and change the music again for the parties so it's not the same music you hear on the lessons. I really like how the staff knows every students name, not just their own students. It makes you feel like you belong to a special club where friends get together. The owner owns a lot of Arthur Murray dance studios so we get to travel to different studios on Long Island and in New York for their parties. This is great because all of the teachers from the different studios dance with you and it's a way I've made friends to dance with from miles away. The private lessons and group classes are excellent. I think I've found a hobby for life that's great exercise and makes me happy at the same time.
