What a great moving company. They arrived on time and never stopped working. They were friendly, helpful and efficient. They were also very inexpensive. Total cost of my move was under $800.
My hats off to Carlos, Nicklaus and the third person on the truck( I sorry I don't remember his name).
I also can't believe how much stuff they were able to pack in that truck.Helpful 3Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0 - Jun 16, 2019
We hired 2 Bros to load a storage trailer getting hauled to California.
The good:
- easy to communicate with over Yelp
- brought straps (that we could buy off them) to secure the contents in the trailer
- saved us $$ by packing the trailer tightly (2 feet less space than expected)
The not great:
- they wrapped only one piece of our couch in saran wrap, which protected the piece, but our other couch sections and bed were dirty from the inside of the trailer
- CA side, many of our boxes marked as "fragile" were slightly caved in because there were many levels of boxes loaded on top of them. I'm thankful that nothing is broken, but it was tense seeing so many boxes with bent sides on the other end of the moveHelpful 9Thanks 0Love this 8Oh no 0Business owner information

On our moving blog, it describes how to be ready on moving day. Boxes that are improperly packed will crumble. If we didn’t stack any of the boxes marked fragile, then your shipment would have taken up the entire truck and we only had 13 feet to work with. There were at least 15 different sizes of boxes, which made the load slightly more difficult. We are as surprised as you that nothing broke because the boxes were packed without white paper, but the reason why nothing broke is due to how tightly we loaded the truck. A fourth mover was also added at no additional cost.
Some of the boxes were in excess of 100 lbs, (only dishpacks should weigh that heavy) which will save space and some time but is unfair to the movers and will automatically compromise the load itself. Shipping containers that are placed on big rigs and travel across the country are going to have a higher risk of damage as they travel fast over bumpy terrain. - Dean K.West Haven, CT02Jul 13, 2022
Showed up on time and very cooperative. We added more stuff to the load and they said Keep it coming! Reasonable quote and we went way beyond. Zero complaints. Easy.

This review is long overdue.
Months ago, Matt and his crew moved my stuff from NY to CT.
They arrived on time, were very courteous, Worked non-stop. We were thoughtful enough to provide fruit, food and water. Nothing broke, not even a scratch to the walls. They moved us from a tri-level townhouse, to a storage facility in Milford, CT.
I wouldn't trust anyone else. Matt is a straight shooter. The price was completely reasonable. They helped pack my stuff and expertly packed my storage locker, with blankets & bubble wrap.
Being a natural worrier, I was stressed out - worrying about the move but, Matt and his crew were so impressive.
I highly recommend this company to all who ask.

Matt is the perfect first contact. The website blog makes packing much less painful. Moving crew Nicky, Mike and Eric operated like a Nascar pit crew. I got a phone call with anticipated arrival time, a text with updated ETA, early arrival, remarkably efficient load up and load out. This was an Interstate move. The price was affordable and they were on target with the estimate.

These guys were lifesavers in making my move happen during a pandemic. Worth every damn penny.

I'm so happy I used this company! Dominic and Jeremy were great! Very careful with my things, efficient and just nice to be around.
Price is super reasonable, and when you are moving, that helps. I'm moving in two stages. Today was stage one. Newly refurbished furniture so I was extra happy to see the way these two (the Dominic and Jeremy mentioned above) took care of these big, heavy pieces.
Matthew is unbelievably great! I have had to do things differently than originally planned and he just took it all in stride.
Don't bother with anyone else!! Too bad there are only five stars!Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

The movers were nice until they broke an expensive bed and lied about it. They damaged furniture and when it was reported to Mathew the owner he was rude and disrespectful. He treated my elderly parents with such disrespect it was shocking! He was condescending and refused to take responsibility for the damages the movers caused. He is dishonest and untrustworthy, I would not recommend using this company. I'm sure he will have a rude sarcastic response to this, but my review is 100% true!
In response to the unethical owner Matthew who cannot take responsibility for his mistakes or horrible service - I WAS THERE. Once again you lied. I was at the house when the movers damaged furniture - you were not - I booked the appointment - I knew you would try to cover up. Add lack of accountability to your list. Worst business person EVER! I feel sorry for you. You are a dishonest liar. I hired you to move my parents, I called and I set up the appointment. My parents never said everything was damaged, just the pieces the movers DID damage and try to cover up. Matthew was shown before and after pictures of the damaged pieces but did not care. The move was on Sunday the 30th of January. They called Wednesday regarding the damages because Monday and Tuesday were holidays. I could go on to rebut his endless lies, but unlike him, I have better things to do with my time.Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Mistakes happen in the moving business. When a mistake does happen, we always make an attempt to make things right with the customer by offering to repair, replace or claim the item damaged.
Since the reviewer has made a number of false and exaggerated claims against me, our movers, and my business, I will address each one:
The day after the move was not a federal holiday. It is a business day and I've never received it off from any job I've had.
While disassembling the bed, the movers dropped and damaged a bed post. The customer ran upstairs and asked the movers "what broke?" and the movers calmly explained what happened.
Our movers did not lie or try to conceal any damage from the customer. There was no mention until this review of this allegation. I was immediately notified of the damage and sent a picture with the bed model and manufacturer.
The assertion that our movers attempted to hide damage from the customer is a dishonest attempt to harm our business. The customer was compensated at the end of the move with an agreement that I would replace the bed post, which they claimed was brand new. I have time-stamped documentation of the agreement.
In an attempt to replace the item, I called the manufacturer to learn that the bed set had been discontinued five years ago and couldn't be replaced.
Several days later I received a call from the customers and was told "everything is damaged." I checked in with the movers (who were assigned to this move) again and they reassured me that there was no report of any additional damage, but that the customers were very upset about the bed post. They told me the truck was loaded properly and a walk-through had been completed to make certain everything was in the right place and, of course, not damaged. The movers were thanked multiple times at the end of the move and communicated with the customer and her family in a generally positive way before they left.
I visited the residence to review and document the additional claims. After showing me the bed post the customer and her family became loud and personally insulting. I stated that I wanted to avoid conflict and come to a resolution but insisted that I needed to document all of the damage first.
The customer's relatives continued to yell and a family member made threatening gestures towards me. Out of respect for their privacy I will leave out the rest of what the customer did, but I had to leave for my own safety. On my way out the yelling and profanity continued, so I was glad to be out of there.
It's my opinion that the customer didn't want to come to any kind of agreement within reason. I assert that this review is a dishonest campaign to hurt my business and myself. Our reputation and other satisfied reviewers are in opposition to this review. I stand by our reputation and will continue to work hard so that more Connecticut residents are safely moved. - Amy G.Downtown, Bridgeport, CT344Jan 3, 2019
Matthew Walker is the rudest business owner I've ever dealt with. He didn't take responsibility for damage his workers caused and went so far as to call my elderly parents liars! I would strongly suggest you NOT use this company. His work is sub par and his attitude is horrendous. He's terrible to work with and his work is shoddy.
*And the lies continue in his response. He is untrustworthy and a liar. Very poor businessman. Shame on you Matthew. You're a liar and you are certainly not a gentleman.
* I stand by my review. I was present for the move, Mr. Walker was not. Mr Walker continues to misrepresent the facts and is untrustworthy. He never offered compensation and in fact demanded additional payment when he went to inspect the damage caused by his workers.Helpful 1Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 0Business owner information

The reviewer is not a customer and is posting a duplicate 1-star review on the customer's behalf. I've flagged the review as a violation of Yelp guidelines since it amounts to two reviews for the same job. Here was my response to the review:
