While it is in the same lot as a Trader Joe's (You know the joke), it is such a clean and organized eatery. You really cannot go wrong with Mendo and their choices. I visit one of their many locations at least 2-3 per month.

On my recent visit (3/4/2024), I tried a new item, which is part of their Mendo Test Kitchen exclusive menu. It is only available at 2 locations and Studio City is one them. It called the Chicken & Hummus Crunch Wrap. It features shaved, roasted chicken breast, hummus, pita chips, Kumato tomatoes, cucumber, jalapeno, pickled red onions, sprouts, romaine, baby spinach, tangy garlic spread, and mint labneh, all in a Mejorado flour tortilla! It was great and very filling. Truly hope they keep it.

I usually get one of the 1/2 Sandwich combos or a salad. Try to very it up every so often.

It is definitely a great spot for anyone who needs/wants choices. Staff is upbeat and friendly. Great for takeout, or they have a nice dining area both inside and outside.

Service-wise, might have caught them on an off-night. 'Fast casual'? More like slow casual, 25 minutes to bring one sandwich, one soup and one side, and they would've forgotten our drinks if we didn't say something.

Food itself was average/good, fresh but not much flavor.

Space is clean, modern, open.

Nothing worth coming back to here.

Work lunch delivered so I can't speak too much on the atmosphere but I know the location and it's in a beautiful area on Ventura Blvd next to Trader Joe's. There were other places selected last week but Mendo is far above the rest. On the first day I ordered the Peruvian Steak Sandwich and the Turkey Sausage and Kale Soup and on the second day the Prosciutto and Chicken sandwich and the Turkey Sausage and Kale Soup. Both were excellent with the Peruvian being my favorite. Obviously I loved the soup as well. Seems like very good service, that is to say the delivery was on time. This place just seems to be much fresher, much better quality than the rest. Good portion size, very enjoyable.

Such a pretty place. The service is excellent. But the sandwiches are just tasteless. I had a chicken caprese and my son had the not so fried chicken and they both had no taste. The bread on both was delicious but that was it. We only ate 1/2 of our sandwiches and threw the other 1/2 away.
The not so fried tasted like nothing with crunching things in it abd the caprese I only tasted the bread.

Somehow they find the absolute best staff in terms of front end and customer service but in the back end, they've gotten my food order 7 out of 8 times. Literally counted. I have warned each cashier that they always mess up my order so I ask the front to give the back a special note and EVERY time (except for once) they get it wrong. Terribly disappointed however the food taste fresh and the front staff is always incredibly impressive to tending to the issue that doesn't seem to get fixed.
-- management messaged me on here as you can see and asked that I email them to learn how they will fix it. I emailed them and got no response. So it's all for "show" apparently

Not so fried chicken 5/5 - this is always on point no matter which location. The crispies add a great crunch without being so fried and oily. I love the yellow sauce it has, a little tangy. There is also a generous amount of chicken and the bread is toasted perfectly.

I love coming here for a simple and pretty healthy meal. It is a little pricey.

The Thai chicken salad is sooooooo good.

We did instacart which was kind over priced and the quesadilla had whole wheat tortilla and cheddar so my daughter wouldn't eat it. Can't blame Mendocino Farms for that.

Just wow! This is the type of place you know everything on the menu is going to be delicious.
I came in today with a local who always raves about this spot and I can see why. They just serve clean fresh food and had so many healthy juice and beverage options.
I ordered a new item the Mediterranean chicken salad and my friend ordered her favorite the avocado quinoa salad.
My salad was delicious in flavor pairings the radish was something I've never tried in a salad but gave it a unique taste with the pomegranate dressing that I'll be coming back for!
I also really liked you pick your seat and scan a QR to let the staff no where to deliver your food verses having a number to put on your table. Less contact more clean. The staff was friendly in suggestions and the person on floor was cleaning tables very quickly. You can get in, eat, and out with your food in 30mins.

We came for the BOGO offer for besties day! Ordered online and food was ready.

Items were neatly packaged.

Parking is available in the big shopping center lot with the Trader Joe's.

I know this place is a chain, but it is a higher quality chain.

I placed an online order to be ready for 1pm, 3 hours before the scheduled time of pick up to ensure my food would be ready for my team. We work on a very tight schedule.

I showed up 10 minutes early and a woman passive aggressively told me that my order was scheduled for 1pm and it would be ready then.
If this had been my only negative interaction with this business I would not write a review. I am more than happy waiting until the scheduled time, I just wanted to check on the off chance it was ready 10 minutes early.
At 1pm I go inside to grab my food, however it was not ready for another 15 minutes. After 15 minutes of waiting, my food is handed directly to me and I go and deliver it to my team for lunch.
I made sure to click "add utensils" -- we were not working where we had reusable ones and I knew we would need them. There were no utensils in the bag.

I was disappointed that Mendocino Farms made my crew have a shorter lunch period with messy hands because of their poor time management schedule and the cherry on top was the passive aggressive woman.
