The Great Greek Mediterranean Grill

Very disappointing, the food here is Awful, its Not fresh, not Greek & way Overpriced. Tradition residents deserve better than bad fast food. Gyro meat is bland, tzatziki was just a cup of yogurt, and appetizers were just thawed frozen food. Greek Spice Grill in Lauderdale is a great example that quick food restaurants can be done with higher quality & real Greek flavor. Complete waste of money & no dinner that night

Food
Got the gyro platter with regular fries
- gyro meat (lamb/beef) was dry and flavorless. Convinced by the way it was curling that it was microwaved or cooked under a salamander vs a vertical spit. Gross.
- fries were bomb. Stayed crispy even after transport. Heavily starched.
- salad was basic, perfectly OK

Service
The cashier was in a constant argument with cook staff from time I put in my order until it was ready (about 15 minutes) there were about 10 other customers waiting and confused.

There was also a small boy running in and out of the back demanding food, saying silly things like he's gonna get their pay reduced. Assuming he's a kid of an employee, but still was obnoxious and unprofessional.

Hard pass. I ordered the soup and a side salad. The soup tasted like lemon flavored water with soggy rice. It was so bad I couldn't eat it. The salad wasn't any better. Nothing like the pictures. No flavor. Didn't eat that either. Complete waste of money.
My friend ordered their chicken platter. The chicken was dry and the fries were soft and cold. The fries looked like they were thawed, refrozen in a clump, and then fried. They were served stuck together, soft, and cold. There was plenty of seating and not many customers, so I'm not sure why the staff served us cold fries.
Atmosphere is casual. Prices don't match the environment or food offerings. Will not be back. Worst experience I've had in a long time.

If zero stars for the food were an option, that's what I'd give, and even that is generous. The quality and the prices aren't aligned at this location AT ALL. We ordered a combo, chicken and steak: the portions of the meat on the two kebabs we received were tiny, dry, and lacking flavor. I wish I would have taken a picture. We also ordered a side of rice and a salad: the rice has an almost sour taste to it, it was cold, and the salad was mediocre at best. The grand finale was the baklava, my favorite dessert: SO dry, stale, and obviously not fresh. The Great Greek West Palm Beach location is far superior in comparison to this one. Disappointed is an understatement. Certainly not coming back.

Went today for lunch today, the lady that worked there was nice. I was shocked at $41 for 2 small salads and drinks. I added falafel to mine which were good albeit the smallest I've ever seen, there were 4 smaller than golf balls. Husb had gyro meat on his. The place looked dingy and I was distressed at the way the napkin holder looked, same as abt a month ago, thought maybe it was an outside one but I checked others inside this time and they were same. Distressing actually along the general look of their drink dispensers etc.

The service is horrible. The place is decent looking. The staff has big attitudes. The food is terrible.

I ordered carry out after traveling all day. I got the lamb entree with rice and salad. The salad was a good portion and everything was fresh/crisp. The lamb entree came with 2 kabobs and I requested medium well. It was cooked perfectly. The rice was ok but seemed to be missing something. I mixed some of the tzatziki sauce into the rice and it was much better. The portion was big and tasty.

Again, I'm back at this location for some Greek food. I recently found out that this restaurant is part of a chain spreading through South Florida and central Florida. There's one that recently opened in Port St. Lucie, another one that's opening up shortly in Fort Pierce, and one that's located in Boca Raton. I went in for my traditional Greek salad minus olives, and I had no protein. The salad was delicious and had the right amount of tomato, onion, lettuce, cucumber, and feta cheese. I know you can't really mess up a salad, but they put together the salad very well. The ambiance is casual. The price is okay for today's dollars, and the staff is friendly.

Grainy soupy hummus, dry falafel, waste of money! Asked for extra cucumber they gave me 2 slices.

I always stop here once or twice when I go to Florida since it's on the way to and from the airport. The pita bread is AMAZING- so fresh and soft. I also really love the tzatziki. The chicken skewers are great- you can have them as a meal, or add them to a salad. They used to have one of those fun drink dispensers where you could add different flavors to soda etc but the last time I went it was sadly gone. There is outdoor seating that is nice and very pretty that you can bring your dog to. There are many stores and other restaurants nearby to explore as well! The parking is easy since there is a big lot and it's not in the main part of the shopping center.
