The Lipstick Lounge

While visiting Nashville, my fiancé and I had to stop by since It is one of fewer than twenty remaining lesbian bars in the United States.

It was a blast; however, we didn't stay for long because we had our team dogs with us. Everyone was very nice and they love petting the dogs.

I know on the weekends they do serve brunch but this means that next time we need to stop by on the weekend. Can't wait to come again to Nashville.

Amazing atmosphere for karaoke on Saturday night. The manager is the DJ and phenomenal host. I selected the Beast beef boy burger. It was a conquest and well worth the time.

Went to see Cody Belew performing at Lipstick Lounge. Cody's show was excellent and highly recommend. How can you not like someone who looks like Minnie Pearl and David Bowie had a son. (His words, not mine) and the vibe of Fredy Mercury all together in one.

The Lipstick Lounge itself is tiny, and has a primarily lesbian crowd on most days. On the night we attended, with was a good mix of very diverse characters of all types.

Have been to Lipstick Lounge a couple of times. Both on evenings with shows, and for weekend afternoon. It's got a diver bar feel. Street parking is available. Safe neighborhood.

again this place is tiny and the service is no good at all because in the time we been there no one approach us to offer anything even when u try to grab the attention of servers so we go to the bar and order there.

Super fun and tiny little bar with karaoke. There's a huge age range here, and when we arrived around 9PM it was mostly women, but by the time we left a couple of hours later it was a more mixed crowd. The bar can be a couple deep so it looks like a long wait, but the bartenders are fast and friendly so you'll not wait long for your drinks. People are generally pretty friendly and it's easy to move through the heaving crowds. Cash cover at the door.

Had to stop by one of the last lesbian bars in the U.S. on my latest trip to Nashville! I don't go to bars often but this place was the perfect vibe for me.

We went on a Sunday night so it wasn't super packed, which was probably for the best because it's not a super large building. Music was a bit loud so it was a bit difficult to hold a conversation without raising my voice a little. (Not a major issue though)

I got the Pick Yo' Beef Boy and it was fantastic! Just a side note - I probably wouldn't get it if you're already ordering fried pickles as an appetizer, unless you wanna stomach full of the delicious snack.

Karaoke songs were a bit limited but my friend and I still had a blast serenading everyone with "YMCA" :D I'll definitely be coming back next time I'm in the Music City!

My husband and I went to Lipstick Lounge for karaoke while in East Nashville and had a BLAST! I feel like this is what LGBTQIA+ bars are meant to be.

I went back in October for the first time. I really enjoyed the time I spent there. Definitely going to go back when it's warmer to utilize their outdoor space.

Fun little place, brought my straight friend and she was comfortable as well. Not a club like Play, it's a more chill vibe. I love Play, but sometimes it's nice to have a more relaxed environment. We were shocked by the food quality! Ridiculously good, I'd go back just for the food even without the live music or karaoke nights.

Fun bar and good vibes. I do wish they added more country music to their karaoke choices because there are a ton of great artists who are missing from the list. Big names too. Not sure if it's political reasons or what, but as a fellow queer I want to put my gay spin on it so please update the music catalog and not be so picky! If we did that for every artist we didn't like something about we would have no music left to sing. DJ / Karaoke man can be quite moody!
