Q:
Do they have a smoking section?
A:
I don't believe they have a section for it but it's a huge place that's open to the outdoor elements. You can walk outside the gate and probably have a smoke there.

Are teenagers permitted to enter if accompanied by an Adult?
A:
When I've been there, they check if you're over 21 every single time. I don't recall anyone underage inside the brewery. So, I would say no.

It really is a brewery -- if beer isn't your thing, your only other options are Truly cans or water. There's two floors of seating, perfect for couples to large parties. There are board games scattered around, food outside, and I once stumbled upon an art sale. The bartenders are super friendly.

Cool place to hang out, with lots of seating options and games. Nice bartenders.
The beers:
Octoberfest (great)
Eastside Forster Festbier (very good)
White Nite (great)
Caramel Apple Gose (great)
Boysenberry Berliner (great)
Black Lager (excellent)Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 2Oh no 0Aug 8, 2015Previous reviewThis is such a cool place to hang out in. It has something for everyone, music, games, dancing, food truck, etc. The decor of the brewery is really nice and the beers are good. The White Nite (nitro white stout) is the best and it is amazing to have the roasted malt flavors of a darker beer in a light colored beer.
My only criticism is that the one main bar gets really crowded (just where you order) and the other bars have not been open either time that I visited. Since they don't have a wait staff, it tends to take a while to get a beer. - 2048412878Mar 2, 2024

Unfortunately I am attempting to finish this review in 2024, long after visiting this establishment so I do not recall my visit here in crazy detail. But I remember it was a weekend night and somehow one of the few establishments still open at this late hour. Cool vibes. Had a beer or two though I can't recall which. And in my very trusted book of ratings, I know that I enjoyed this spot though something was lacking. What that is, I couldn't tell you. But happy to come back and try againHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 1 - May 10, 20241 check-in
Fun brewery with a large selection of beers on tap. The brewery had around 20 different beers on tap and a wide variety of options. The venue was very large and had an upstairs and downstairs. Large gift shop in the middle of the downstairs. Bartenders provided quick service when ordering beer.

I have had the pleasure of visiting this brewery on several occasions, and each time, I have been consistently impressed with the outstanding level of service and overall experience. I recently celebrated my birthday there, and the staff was incredibly kind and attentive. The manager, I believe her name is Lisa, was particularly accommodating and made sure that everything was ideal. I appreciate the lovely outdoor ambiance, and on the Truly side, the interior is remarkably vibrant and inviting. The food was quite enjoyable. We ordered wings, quesadillas, and fries, and everything was delicious. There is metered street parking or paid public parking nearby. Overall, this is a wonderful place to relax or socialize, and I will definitely be returning.

Angel City is always a great time, if you can stand the drive over to Little Tokyo / the Arts District. ;)
There's a Truly bar area off to the side, and a taco food truck right next to the brewery.
Yes, there's games to play while you're hanging out, having a brew.
I've always been pleased by the options and pricing here. Service is also quick, efficient, polite.
The people here are locals from all over LA. Lots of big groups, Dodgers fans, and more.
Parking is such a pain around here... park anywhere and walk a bit.Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 1Oh no 1 - 20211691302Sep 4, 2023
Not only does Angel City Brewery offer a massive variety of brews to choose from, it offers distinct flavors that make it hard to forget -- looking at you, Srirachalada & Avocado Ale. Because of these eclectic flavors, I'd return just to see what else Angel City has to offer. Unfortunately, they DO NOT offer beer flights.
Angel City provides ample seating, both indoors (2 stories) and out, and is dog friendly! If you're a patron of the arts, they also sell local artwork adorning the space.
CONS: Just like the rest of the businesses in the district arts area, parking feels/is a scam. Be prepared to pay for parking (seriously, the parking ticket isn't worth it). Since this is in a warehouse, there is no air-conditioning, be prepared to sweat!Helpful 2Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0 - Oct 28, 2023
Huge brewery with lots of seating. Great selection and huge variety of beers to choose from. Service was on the slower side but was fine, assuming some people just take longer choosing their beers.
I got a sour flight and my partner got a light lager flight. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the darkest sour compared to the other sours on my flight.
Would definitely return in the future!Helpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0
