Always come here at least twice every time we are visiting. Food is delicious and prices are great. The panko fried mahi-mahi with BBQ chicken is the best combo ever! Get your Loco Moco early before they sell out too!

An easy to-go family owned business in the strip plaza. Nothing fancy inside but a lot of smiles amongst the phone ringing off the hook. Cooked fresh to order so be prepared for a wait during peak hours. You can see them hustle in the semi open kitchen.

Delicious special last night, Seafood Dynamite, cream sauce full of different kinds of fish, prawns perfectly cooked (they ran out of scallops) topped with melty cheese, accompanied by seasoned veggies and a scoop of white rice. It was a BIG serve so plenty for lunch next day or to share.
Hubby liked the chicken Katsu, but not as much as the Seafood Dynamite :)
We called our order in and picked up but they also offer delivery. The lady on the phone who took my order was really sharp with me which is my only complaint. We tried to find an updated menu online but could only find one from 2022 so I wasn't sure what was still on the menu and when I asked she wasn't interested. Maybe they should include an updated menu online or on their Instagram?

Decently flavored but prices are pretty steep for the type of food and portion size.

Ordered two lemon caper fish dishes. The fish smelled and was not close to being fresh. We have been there before and never experienced such a bad meal. Roll the dice its maui.

We ordered the steak and bbq chicken. We came in at dinner time and thank goodness I came with cash since they are a cash only business. It was busy in there and the cashier did her job with no personality she just was like I'm here so what would you like type of person. The serving size extremely small. The steak was fatty, undercooked and under seasoned. The chicken was okay. The rice was cold and the Mac salad might have been the worst o have ever had. The Mac salad tasted more like a mustard potato salad than a Hawaiian Mac salad.

Came to Honokowai Okazuya Deli multiple times when staying in the area on a recent family vacation. Truly something for everyone here! Really wonderful portion sizes, fresh fish, tasty preparations (lemon caper mahi - highly recommend), along with some classic staples like burgers and fries (perfect for after a long day at the beach). Prices are really reasonable given the portions. We only got take out and our phone-in orders were ready crazy fast. Cannot recommend enough if you're staying locally, especially if you have a bunch of mouths to feed at a condo and want to eat something easy without cooking up something yourself.

Don't make the mistake that we did! Sauces for fish and katsu are not included - they are extra$$$ - we were so bummed!

Absolutely love the Ono Lemon Caper Saute with sundried tomatoes and mushrooms served with Mac salad and rice from Honokowai Okazuya. My friends had teri shrimp stir fry and the fish sampler. We all loved the food. I come here every trip to Maui and they never disappoint. Highly recommend their takeout.

I love this place so much. One of the best if not the best place to eat on maui I ate there 2 times a week for 5 years! So good

We get takeout from Okazuya whenever we're in Ka'anapali, and it's faithfully delicious each time.
